I can't believe it's been a year since I started training with Gergo! It's the best money I've ever spent and the best investment I've ever done for myself, my health and my future.
The reason I started to train with Gergo was because of a calf injury that I got whilst running and I wanted help to build up my muscle to be able to run again. Gergo has taught me so much in the past year, I didn't realise how important it was to strength train as well as run, I didn't know the two exercises complimented each other so much either, it's been totally transformative and helped build me in ways I couldn't imagine.
I used to hate walking into the gym on my own, let alone going to the weights section where all the men were. Gergo has really helped build my confidence and I'm more than happy going to the gym alone now, I even enter the gym with a skip in my step. I have absolutely no worries going to the weight section either. It helps that Gergo has taught me how to check my body for the correct form, something I've never known before, I used to just make it up as I went along.
My goals have changed over the year from building my legs back from an injury, to running goals, to weight loss, to lift certain weights. Gergo has always tailored each programme to suit my needs. I always leave feeling challenged and happy with my progress! I honestly never thought I would be lifting over 100kg in deadlift but Gergo proved me wrong.
Training with Gergo has inevitably helped my strength, I could barely deadlift 40kg when I started and now I'm deadlifting 105kg, but the biggest change I've noticed is my mental health. Coming from someone that suffers from insomnia, depression and anxiety, I can honestly say that the biggest thing that's helped is going to the gym and being able to get out running again, injury free!

I have been training with Gergo for a few months. I signed up to his “body transformation “ programme for 3 months and then continued to see him for another few months because he has been so valuable to me.
I have always been wary of gyms, trainers and big promises but I was keen to develop my overall strength as I kept getting pains whenever I was running. Gergo taught me so much about strength, resistance training, diet and more importantly helped me develop the confidence to go for it. My body feels really different, more defined , more strong and flexible, I feel more confident than I have ever been in my body. I eat more, dropped a size and can do things I had never dared do with weights and machines. I know I wasn’t an easy customer for Gergo as I can be very anxious about exercise and often feel like a fish out of water in a gym full of guys 30 years younger lifting and screaming. He has been very responsive, has adapted to my own needs and way to communicate and is always there if I needed extra help. He was very meticulous in correcting and checking on me, really knows his stuff and always looked for solutions that work even when there were setbacks. I am very happy to recommend Gergo, to anyone who is committed to results.

I've been training with Gergo Jonas for a year and a half now, and in that time he's helped me get stronger and fitter then I ever thought I would be.
Whilst the workouts and training sessions are challenging (as they should be), Gergo programmes them specifically for you so that they are engaging, fun and leave you feeling accomplished after every session.
Gergo has also helped me identify and work on mobility issues that have affected me in and out of the gym, and his nutrition guidance has been excellent (especially for vegetarian/vegan lifters).
I would definitely recommend Gergo Jonas to help you achieve your fitness goals, whatever they might be!

I have come to think of Gergo as my ideal personal trainer, he is professional, knowledgable, friendly, challenging and encouraging. I have been working with him for over a year. I began because I was writing a book and I knew I needed to get more exercise and I thought a personal trainer would hold my feet to the fire! He has, but I have got so much more out of it. I have learned to listen to my body in a whole new way around training and diet. I have more confidence and energy and stamina, . We have worked with old injuries to build stability and strength and Gergo is always responsive to adjusting the training to what is going on day by day. It’s a funny thing perhaps to mention in a review but the thing that most impressed me when I first met him was his handshake, his hand was totally relaxed, no power grip anxious to prove something! I had been scared of placing myself in the hands of a trainer who was on a power trip. With Gergo I feel in genuinely safe hands and the experience has been really transforming, I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Gergo is an absolutely brilliant PT and has really changed the way I train. He's incredibly knowledgable and immediately identified areas I needed to work on in order to progress, as well as providing great advice about nutrition and recovery. I’ve been training with Gergo for almost a year now. My goal was to build muscle, strength and also to improve my technique especially on bigger exercises such as deadlifts, squats, etc. Gergo has been a great trainer/teacher. I can lift much heavier weights with much better technique now than I ever could. We have worked on a variety of different programmes which helped me bulk up as well as helping me build endurance and strength. Gergo is amicable and supportive, yet is able to push your limits during training. He is also very responsive when you need advice between sessions. In the lead up to my wedding, I decided to get a personal trainer to help me tone up and overcome a weight loss plateau. From the very first communication with Coach G, he filled me with confidence with his initial assessment. He very quickly noticed where my weak spots were and have worked on these areas throughout the past few months. I said on my first assessment session I wanted to be able to do a full strong push up. After about 6 weeks I was confidently doing 3/4!! Before I started training I had never even done half a push up 😂 I would absolutely recommend the transformation package - his regular messages checking in with me is far beyond any trainer I have had before. I’ve been training with Coach G for over 1 year. The coaching is first class! Each session I am learning something new and pushing myself harder than I would training alone or in a class. I am really pleased with the progress I have made in that time.
For me, I sometimes need motivation and someone to push me to go that extra step which is exactly what Coach G brings. But the real value of the sessions for me is in improving my technique. Coach G is constantly observing and pointing out any bad habits or short cuts. This is what keeps me coming back as I am constantly learning and improving.

Great training. What I really liked about training with Gergo is how specific he was when it came to altering the workouts to fit the specified goals. Straight off the bat I told him that I want to focus on building a calisthenics foundation and thats exactly what we did for the entire time we worked together. He will also make sure you are pushing yourself to your limits but not so much that you get hurt in the process. Very educated in body functioning and really changed both how I train and how I diet. 100% would recommend! Just be ready to commit.
Would especially recommend to vegetarians and vegans. I had been a vegetarian for 8 months prior to working with G and I was struggling to alter my diet to reach the macros without meat. G definitely made the transition easier by recommending different foods to help reach my goals!

It has been almost 1 year and half since Gergo started being my PT since day 1 I knew that it was going to be a great experience.
He is an amazing trainer, confident of what he knows and teaches, from weight lifting, conditioning, martial strength, and of course nutrition too.

I had been going to the gym for the last few years, but had recently become a bit frustrated at a lack of progress. After meeting Gergo he quickly identified the areas that were holding me back and developed a routine tailored to my needs. Having 10 sessions really helped improve my form and has put me back where I want to be. Gergo is really friendly, laid back, and was flexible with bookings when I had to rearrange.

Anyone who can make getting up early to go workout something to look forward to is special! Training with Gergo is a genuine pleasure. He is so knowledgable, caring and friendly! The thing that I appreciate the most at coach G is the way he motivates people.
I felt really good during his classes as he is really tough but in a soft way that makes you what more from yourself.
After I started the training sessions with him I realized that he is exactly as I wanted my ideal coach to be, professional, expert and determined to obtain the best results.
Honestly I did not found a better coach than him until now, I could see results after a couple of sessions and could say I felt stronger than ever.
I truly recommend him and you should consider yourself very lucky if you have the chance to train and learn from him.

I started going to Pure Gym when I first started working in Brighton. Commuting everyday meant I have very little time and motivation to actually have a successful workout and to tell you the truth I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I simply thought walking/jogging on the treadmill and doing a a few sit ups would give me my dream body and with my wedding being only a year away I knew if I wanted results I needed to change my mindset and recieve the knowledge from the professionals (After all, knowledge is power). The gym is so relaxed and the more I went I started to make friends with the daily gymers and also the PT's. I booked myself in for a couple of group classes and soon realised I really enjoyed Gergo's style of training. From there, 3 x training private sessions a week along with following a personalised healthy diet plan, within 4 months I was finally happy with my body. 2 years later and I have managed to keep the weight off! I now have my own knowledge on dietry and training which I love sharing with people and my body and mind are so much healthier. I still love a glass of wine and a packet of Haribios and Gergo always tells you it's all about moderation. If you cut everything you loved out completely how miserable would we all be?. He taught me you can be happy having a glass and not having to have the whole bottle! Gergo is professional, kind, strict (remember we want results) and is so passionate about what he does! If your not interested in changing your ways he isn't interested in working with you however if you work hard and show dedication he will promise you the results you want! Thanks G!

I've started training with Coach G about 4 years ago and I enjoyed every session. He's a great PT who truly understands my needs and knows how to motivate me. I used to be a very lazy person, I always loved the idea of doing sports but I was never motivated enough to start. I went few months to the gym before, but I had pain(because I wasn't doing the exercises properly) and I didn't know what or how to eat. I knew what probably most people think they know, that if you eat less and exercise you lose weight but I found that that wasn't true. When I started training with him I found out that it's more complex than that and he really helped me understand the process, the steps I had to make to achieve my goal. He totally worths the money. He's one of the few PT's that puts passion and all his heart into what he's doing. You can see a PT that loves his job from miles away and he's one of them. I recommend him with all my heart!
