Reviews of Ben Andrews Personal Training

I have been training with Ben over a year and continue to amaze myself how much further I can push myself under his continual motivation and drive, even when I think I have no more energy to give in that session. Ben has a very friendly and professional approach to his training. At all times he ensures meeting your training needs and goals - I have managed to complete a triathlon in 2014. It has motivated me to continue training for another event in the summer of 2015.

After a period of time away from intense PT training with a trainer that shouted continuously, Ben's soft and humble enthusiasm was an instant pleasure to be around. He has a way of getting the best out of you in a way that feels empowering and confidence boosting. His in depth knowledge of the body's anatomy only helps to enhance the training experience and he finds unique ways of getting the deepest stretch and maximum focus on the right areas. I always feel energised and positive after a session (and a little bit less unfit) ! Thanks Ben ! I will always recommend your services.

I've always previously struggled with motivation in gyms or for workouts and was fed up with not using my membership. The difference using a personal trainer was remarkable. Ben has found different ways of motivating me and keeping the training fun.
Due to this I have gained much better results than I thought possible which has helped for my job and also for competitive sport. It has also improved my confidence. The thing that most stood out was the depth of knowledge that Ben has.

Just read an article on the Running Bug web site '10 signs you should sack your personal trainer'
Well I can't say Ben would meet any of the reasons in the article. I'm always challanged within my sessions. They are varied. He understands my goals (sometimes even I don't know my goals) and has adapted my sessions to suit my goal and fitness. I see progress. I do look forward to my sessions (but he doesn't need to know that)
My biggest goal will be when he gets me through the London marathon.

I've worked with Ben for personal training and for sports massage. For our personal training sessions Ben took time to research my sport (which is a bit unusual) and planned strength and conditioning exercises to suit me and the techniques I use. His sessions are fun and varied. Ben encourages you to push to your limits but is always mindful of safety and technique. Ben is also a competent sports massage therapist and working on fitness and recovery together ensures that he's able to link what I do in my sport, my biomechanics and training.
