Michael was my online coach for 3 months and he was fantastic - he provided me with tailored support based on my goals of generally being healthier, weight loss, and better nutrition on a vegan diet. He was super knowledgeable and able to answer literally any question i ever had, he always met me where I was and altered his support based on my various changing goals (e.g. when i switched from home workouts to gym or when i no longer wanted to do weigh ins as a measure of my progress) and was generally super approachable and easy going. He's honest and realistic and promotes sustainable approaches to food and fitness. I'd highly recommend :)

I signed up with Michael for a month with a free subscription he was offering with the intention to do the month and then cancel my membership. I ended up staying for another 3 months. Michael provided me with an easy way to count calories, exercise and lose weight without it feeling like a drag. Anytime I had a question I just text or emailed Michael and he replied almost straight away which was very useful.
If you've been putting off losing weight or getting into shape again and again, I would recommend Michael as he has shown me a way to make it a lifestyle change rather than a burden which has made it a lot easier.

Michael was my online personal trainer for a year. My initial goals at the start of our time together were to lose weight and to become more toned and generally fitter. Not only did he help me achieve these goals, but he also opened up the world of sport to me and helped me realise one doesn’t have to be an elite athlete to be able to improve at any given sport, and that we are much more physically capable than we believe ourselves to be. The fact that our training was done at a distance (he in Scotland and me in France) was no obstacle. He was always present, and always encouraging. My year of training with Michael was the best self-care investment I have ever made.

I can't recommend Michael enough; if you're looking for a fantastic PT, look no further. Even if you're unsure whether having a PT is right for you, get in touch with him.
As someone with a history of disordered eating and over-exercising for the wrong reasons, I know how difficult it can be to find a PT strikes the right balance between encouragement and setting me down a road I don't want to go down. Michael strikes that balance perfectly.
Despite only doing a short time with Michael I lost, and continued to lose, weight at a pace I was comfortable with. His friendly twice weekly phone calls were the motivation I needed to keep me on track, but there was never any judgment or chastising, and there was always a good laugh in there. The exercises were geared towards not just my fitness level but also my personal circumstances (smallish top floor flat, so no jumping, for example).
Similarly, there is no "following a meal plan" (like Slimming World, Weightwatchers etc...); instead, Michael helps find the right nutritional balance for you, so that you don't feel restricted, and can make long-term lifestyle changes.

I have really enjoyed working with Michael to improve my fitness and nutrition. He is extremely knowledgable and was always on hand to offer me advice and support, even outside of our scheduled calls. I’ve just finished 6 months online PT and couldn’t recommend Michael’s services more! He provided endless amounts of knowledge and useful content. Training plans were tailored around me, nutrition was simple and checking in with Michael twice a week encouraged me to stick to my goals, no stress if I messed up, just helped me get back on track each time! Check out his podcast too for some useful tips and a laugh.

I went to Michael in March with a clichéd but ambitious goal, to look and feel my best before my wedding in August. Michael devised a challenging strength and conditioning schedule that I could fit in around my other commitments (work, wedding planning, and other sports) and put me on a calorie deficit-eating plan. The following months were not easy but with Michaels support, guidance and cheerful encouragement I lost around 6kgs and can honestly say I met my goal of feeling like the best version of myself for the wedding.
I cannot recommend Michael’s online PT programme enough if you want a supportive but tough PT that gets results.
