Reviews of Waverley Communicators Toastmasters Club

I joined this club in 2019 in order to find a place to learn public speaking and build self confidence. To be honest, I wish I could join it earlier because within a year I can feel how I have changed from inside - I didn’t know that a great speaker can be made by learning right skills, real audience facing practice, professional mentoring and feedback evaluation. The fellow members are so so friendly, supportive and inspiring. Now it is like a family to me. You can attend the club meetings 3 times for free as a guest until you make your own decision whether it suits you or not.

Great, friendly place to practice public speaking, receiving and giving constructive feedback.
The Waverley Communicators Toastmasters International club is one of the oldest in Edinburgh and has amazing members from professional backgrounds, who support each others growth by giving constructive feedback of speeches. I am a member of the Waverley Communicators since 2013 and I have improved my presentation skills, public speaking, and also learned how to give constructive feedback. I use these skills at work and other professional settings.
I can highly recommend this club to anyone who wants to learn and/or improve their public speaking in a professional, friendly environment.

I joined in 2014 and consider it one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've grown so much since; and I've learned a lot on speaking and leading, sure, but also about myself. I cannot recommend it enough.
