UPDATE: I enjoyed the sessions so much that I signed up for more and have been doing two group sessions a week since the beginning of December! Cannot recommend Miriam highly enough!
I initially started with some 1:1 sessions in July this year before joining the group training. Whether its a 1:1 or a group session, Miriam has created a really fun and encouraging environment - it's like having your own group of cheerleaders! Miriam is so knowledgeable and supportive - always checking in and holding me accountable while tailoring the sessions to suit each individual as required. She has created the most amazing community, I'm so pleased to be a part of it and highly recommend Miriam to anyone looking for a PT!

Six weeks since starting with Miriam. I was nervous and daunted to begin with as I’m the polar opposite of a gym bunny but all too aware it was high time for me to prioritise health and well-being. Can only echo other comments about her many excellent qualities. What I appreciate most is how cleverly she tailors her approach to get the best out of you as an individual, and her engagement is by no means restricted to the session itself, with regular check ins through the week and being available for advice if needed. So glad I stirred myself to contact Miriam. The gym space is great with easy parking.

Miriam is a great personal trainer, especially for someone who hasn't been in a gym for most of their adult life!
Very helpful and understanding of what you want to achieve and sets clear goals in how you can achieve these in a manageable fashion.
Always come away from our sessions with a real sense of pride and motivation for the rest of the week, receiving regular check ins to make sure we're on track and if there is anything we need to change and work on. I absolutely love coming to Miriam's classes. She is professional, very approachable and always on hand to give advice, look at technique and make sure you get the best out of each workout . It doesn't matter whether you are new to the gym or already fairly fit, everyone gets the same attention. Miriam is one of those genuine, lovely people who also promotes other people's businesses, a trait that you don't often find nowadays. If you want fun, friendly workouts and to achieve goals, I would highly recommend Miriam.

I first joined a ladies learn to lift course with Miriam over 2 years ago, she taught me a new hobby to love and attending that course completely changed my attitude to fitness and diet, I made some really positive changes and will always be very happy to have done it. However what I think really makes Miriam stand out is that after that original course she had created a community of like-minded and completely non-judgemental women with similar goals. We became her first group training crew, and the community spirit has remained. Although I had to leave due to moving away Miriam kept up with me and specifically invited me back to online group training in the covid-19 shutdown, which is keeping me sane and moving, and has also reconnected me to the ever-growing lovely MJS community! If you're looking for a PT who's genuinely inspiring, knows her stuff and most importantly CARES about clients, then Miriam's for you!

Where do I even start? Miriam has been my personal trainer for almost two years now and she has helped me not only to get healthier, more fit, and stronger but also to completely change my lifestyle. With her support, encouragement and all the tips and info she shares I have managed to go from feeling tired, unhappy and severely lacking in confidence to feeling energized, motivated and happy and comfortable in my own skin. I've lost over two stone since starting with Miriam, and while I've taken my time losing it I've also managed to keep it off. When I first met her, I was ten months post partum and feeling more than a little bit self conscious and unsure about the idea of personal training, and she couldn't have made the experience better: her gym is friendly, welcoming and the least intimidating place I have ever worked out. Miriam goes above and beyond as a PT, checking in with you in between sessions, sharing tips and motivation, and even created a cookbook of quick and healthy meals for her clients. As someone who has always had an unhealthy relationship with food and never stuck with a gym plan longer than a few months, I didn't think I could get to a place where I felt fit, healthy and strong or that I could change my lifestyle to a healthy one but Miriam helped me do all those things and I'm still sticking to my weekly PT session almost two years later. Five stars isn't enough!

Miriam is my workout rock. A constant support in my fitness journey so far. She listens to my goals, pushes me to do the things I really don’t like doing (but know I should!) and makes me laugh every single session. Even doing one session together a week - she then helps me plan the rest of my week, she’s always checking in, encouraging me and holding me accountable in making time for me and my physical, emotional and mental health.

Miriam is amazing she is the best personal trainer I have ever had. She isn’t just your PT, she your friend and biggest supporter. Even if you a total beginner or want to continue on your fitness journey she is the one for you.
After some 1-1 session I joined her ladies lifting class and it is my favourite evening of the week. I am able to lift weights I didn’t think could be possible and have learnt some many techniques that I feel so comfortable tackling the gym solo.

Miriam’s service is amazing, she gives great advice not only training but diet/lifestyle also. She is always there for motivation and support and her social media posts are a great mix of home workouts/ recipes/ client success stories.
I have taken part in a number of her lifting classes which are great as she had built up a community of women who train together and offer additional support. The classes are always great fun and the group atmosphere definitely helped me enjoy the training more, plus there is always some friendly competition.
