I was a complete gymophobe and joined the gym only to use the pool. After a while I reached out to Carly to ask for help with my fitness as after lockdown and major surgery I was seriously unfit. Carly has not only helped improve my fitness she is a great instructor listening to me moaning but still pushing me to do more. I'm now enjoying the gym and recommend 100%

I've been working with Carly for 9 months following a major operation and wanted to focus on strength & conditioning but had a lack of confidence and fear of the gym. Carly put a plan together that was tailored specifically for me and adapted as required around my IronMan training schedule. The strength training definitely helped me recover quicker and gain some swim and bike personal bests. In that time, I’ve made a physical transformation, feel more body confident and gained skills for life. I had started trying to lose some weight and become more active but wasn't sure what to do in terms of an exercise programme. I had followed a talk and some posts that Carly had done and decided I needed some guidance. The cost was a consideration for me on a limited budget but your health is important so i signed for 3 months. Whilst on the programme i learnt to try and be more consistent with food tracking and exercise. I learnt about the important of protein and the effects of the menstrual cycle on energy levels, ability to exercise and effects on your eating pattern. I've gone from an all or nothing cycle to a more relaxed approach around nutrition as it's a life journey. I don't feel like i have to avoid social occasions anymore, i know the types of thinks to pick and know I can have anything in moderation.
