The tailored programme and support have been instrumental on keeping me on track and moving me towards achieving my goals. Both the nutrition and exercise plans are designed to your fit personal requirements, the time you have available and also your lifestyle pattern.
A lot of the coaching focuses on education and advice on how to live healthier and adopting new habits that are simple and sustainable - making sure the benefits of the programme are here to stay and not a fad.
The coaching calls with Nick and Ryan are always positive and encouraging and in the 4 months we have been working together I have dropped 15kg (over 2 stone!) and have gone from disastrously unfit to confidently completing a 5km run several times a week.

I reached out to the Lean6 guys after lockdown as I was struggling to get motivated to go to the gym again and have gained a little bit of lockdown weight. I reached a plateau in my training and was getting bored of doing my own workouts. I have noticed a massive changed in my strength as I am hitting new PB’s in my lifts, which I never have thought would happen. I love how flexible it is and I can rearrange my training days to fit my busy lifestyle. I love the fact that I now have a structured training programme that is specific to my sport. Before working with Ryan I was struggling with my relationship with food and I was too scared to go into the weights area as I didn’t know what I was doing. I desperately wanted to achieve my ultimate goal of weight loss so that I could lead a happier and healthier lifestyle to boost my confidence.

I had put a bit of weight on and was generally not feeling very confident about myself. I signed up to the gym but had no idea where to start with what exercises to do, so I contacted Ryan to help me come up with a fitness plan and nutritional advice. As a result of this I got a clear and easy to use fitness plan of exercises to do at the gym focusing on the specific areas of my body that I was unhappy with. I became so much more confident in the gym and as a result starting seeing the results I was after with my appearance. I became stronger through the exercises I was doing and lost weight due to the nutritional advice I received. Ryan is a great personal trainer, I really enjoyed working with him and has fantastic knowledge, really recommend him if you are unsure on how to get fit and healthier!

Ryan’s helped me to start enjoying going to the gym again! I’ve always been hesitant when considering PT’s because previous experiences with them have just bored me with complex procedures and structures that I had to follow to reach my goal, with Ryan it’s not like that. My initial goal was to lose weight but I didn’t want to constantly be on the treadmill, he explained how exercise and nutrition should be used together and so far it’s helped me understand what foods to eat and when to eat them! The sessions are really enjoyable too as every session is completely different from the last, going to the gym is now no longer a task. Highly recommend Nick, I’ve just got into weight lifting after setting up a home gym in my garage. However, I injured my lower back doing deadlifts on my first leg session and realised I may need help from someone who’s more experienced in weight lifting. Nick was recommended to me by a friend and after I got in touch we spoke about diet, training plans and form over video call. He helped me improve my deadlift form through the call, now I can comfortably lift heavier weight and feel confident I won’t injure myself.

Highly recommended ! Prior to using Ryan I used to spend time searching the web for workout and nutrition plans, which did not suit me. Upon reaching out to Ryan, he responded immediately and took the time to discuss my existing lifestyle and the goals I wanted to achieve. As a young man only just starting the gym I was not very confident, unmotivated and uneducated. Then thankfully the helpful man himself Ryan came along and gave me the confidence I need. He told me that I shouldn’t care what people think or be embarrassed of the weight I can lift, just go at and do the best you can do. He helped me to becoming more motivated, as he asked me who my athlete inspirations are and I said Larry wheels. He says to be as big and strong as him you need to work extremely hard in the gym and I really want to be as big and strong as Larry wheels so I now work hard. He educated me in the weight section on to what exercise does what muscle, how many sets and reps and how to execute the movement properly.

OK, so I am at an age where I thought I need to start getting a bit fitter. I had started to feel stiff and generally not that fit, my sleep wasn't great either.
