I’d wholeheartedly recommend training with Alex due to his positive approach to fitness and his extensive knowledge about the different ways to train. Alex is able to keep every session interesting and I feel as though we never do the same session twice. He is reactive and listens to which exercises I do and don’t enjoy, and is always able to find an alternative should I struggle with something, although sadly a general aversion to mountain climbers doesn’t get me out of them completely. I always leave a session with Alex in a better mood than I started and feel that, with his help, both my general fitness and my attitude to training have improved immeasurably. One of the things I like most about training with Alex is that he’s down to earth and doesn’t preach about fitness, but makes working out fun and gets the best out of me and my husband with his can-do approach.

Alex is a brilliant trainer. I have been working with Alex for over 3 years now and he completely changed my attitude to fitness. He is great at understanding just how hard to push you and always keeps the sessions interesting. Boxing sessions are definitely the highlight though.

Alex tailors his workouts to your specific goals. The workouts are challenging but always enjoyable. There's plenty of variety to ensure you're never bored and it never gets too easy!
He has a great range of weights and other equipment set up in Spencer Park so can accommodate a range of different training styles.
He's also really responsive and super professional - all in all, highly recommended!

I trained with Alex for 10 months which means I’ve experienced sunshine, rain and cold when it comes to outdoor training. Alex is great at keeping your spirits high no matter the weather! I was a complete beginner to exercise but Alex was great at introducing me to the basics first. He structures each week differently, which helps keep you motivated. Alex also helped me to be more accountable for keeping my eating on track and encouraged me to go running outside of our sessions. He’s also got great chat so sessions are always fun! My wife and I trained with Alex as part of his six week package deal. Alex tailored the workouts to suit both of our goals, changing up the exercises each session for variety and challenge. It was also great to workout outdoors using weights, and Alex took care to ensure everything was cleaned down in between use. Alex was encouraging and professional in his training approach, and is also a genuinely friendly person who is up for a bit of a chat in between sets! We felt great after the six weeks and would definitely recommend training with Alex.

Alex was absolutely fantastic And I can not recommend him enough! I’m not someone with a long history or gym use, PT or fitness, however I wanted to sort out my fitness and get more body positive. Alex was brilliant, he pushed me every week and made working out fun. He’s also really nice person and can hold a conversation during your session (before Alex I was scared that it would just be health chat). He has completely changed my outlook on fitness. I now run, and have taken up cycling for my commute, both of which I’d never have done before training with Alex. Having Alex as your PT is really worth the investment, best money I’ve ever spent!

I really enjoy training with Alex as he always challenges me to do more, but most of all I love the boxing part of the training. Alex is always in a good mood and out and about no matter how bad the weather is. It is so nice to train outside. I highly recommend Alex.
