I loved Victoria's pregnancy pilates. She was always very attentive to check our needs and whether we were doing the exercise correctly. She also provided alternatives in case we were not able to do the exercise. I highly recommend her classes!

I've been attending Victoria's classes for six months since being advised to do Pilates by my physio to help with a knee injury. Not only has coming to the class helped with my knee but I've felt real improvements in my strength and flexibility. I didn't really know much about Pilates before starting and it is much more of a physical workout than I was expecting!
The classes are always well thought out, you feel yourself progressing each week and Victoria's teaching style is always very positive and tailored to each individual's abilities. Highly recommended.

Victoria is a fantastic Body Control Pilates teacher - welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and encouraging. The classes are a good size in a well lit warm room and you're welcome to leave your mat there each week, which is super convenient. Having attended both the beginners and intermediate/advanced classes, I can highly recommend these classes for new starters and people who have been practising for years.

I had heard many good things about Pilates but had never tried it before attending Victoria’s small group classes and now I have just completed 3 years of weekly sessions. I absolutely love it! Although group sessions, Victoria personalises each exercise to suit individual needs and it almost feels like a one to one session each time. She makes the sessions fun and engaging whilst ensuring you get the most out of them (and you sure feel it the next day)! On weeks where I’ve had a lot on and have been tempted to skip a class, I have never regretted the decision to attend, as I ALWAYS feel so much better after. I feel so relaxed following a session but I know my body has had a good workout. If you haven’t already, attend a session with Victoria; you won’t regret it! :-)

These are relaxed and friendly classes that still mean business. I've been doing pilates for years so I'm in Victoria's advanced class - it is happily challenging. Relatively small class sizes mean that Victoria can give everyone individual attention and adjustments. She obviously puts a lot of planning into what we do every time, with lots of variation and new ideas each week. And she has an uncanny ability to spot when I'm not recruiting my tummy muscles fully...!

Before doing pilates with Victoria I had lost confidence in my physical abilities. She has been patient but challenging and I have found myself growing slowly but steadily in confidence and strength. She is very intuitive – she can tell without me saying that I am tired or having a bad week and she works with this. She also brings a lightness and humour to her teaching which I really appreciate. I went to the postnatal pilates classes that Victoria ran on Tues afternoons. I managed to go nearly every week once my daughter was 3 months till about 14 months and it was my absolute favourite baby class. I went to baby yoga after my first 2 children were born but felt I needed something else after giving birth the 3rd time. I had never done Pilates before but Victoria was very good about helping people position themselves correctly-- the exercises were varied, targeted and effective! I was sore the days after class for the first few weeks but then got a bit more used it. I recommend this class to all other new mums that I meet. It's not often you can do a bit of fitness with your baby and this felt like such a treat. I'm so going to miss going!

Victoria has quite simply changed my life - I would never considered doing a guided exercise class if it hadn't been offered to me, but it has made such a difference to specific muscular problems and has perhaps more importantly given me a better understanding of how to manage them for myself. I love Victoria’s classes, they make me feel really relaxed and stretched out but also like I'm getting stronger. I never used to do any exercise or think about strengthening my core. Now I think about it all the time and readjust when doing everyday things. I have been going to Victoria’s Pilate classes for 3 years. She is very patient and explains movements clearly. I had been suffering lower back pain with extremely painful episodes resulting in reduced mobility when it flared up. I haven’t had any episodes of lower back pain or sciatica since attending the classes weekly and it also it so helpful to counteract the stress of trying to meet deadlines at work; I always go home much calmer and relaxed. She has built up our confidence and ability, provides some familiar exercises but also keeps gently pushing us to improve. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. I would definitely recommend her classes.

(Translated) I was lucky enough to meet Victoria when I was looking for pilates classes in Islington. In addition to his professionalism, his listening and his constant good humor, I was able in the space of a few weeks to get rid of knee pain and improve my posture damaged by 3 pregnancies and breastfeeding.
Victoria's classes are structured, tailored to the needs of her clients and never repetitive. I highly recommend Victoria and despite our return to France, I will continue to take video lessons with her because it is rare to find such a good pilates teacher.

J'ai eu la chance de rencontrer Victoria lorsque je cherchais des cours de pilates sur Islington. En plus de son professionnalisme, son écoute et sa constante bonne humeur, j'ai pu en l'espace de quelques semaines me débarasser de douleurs au genou et améliorer ma posture abimée par 3 grossesses et allaitements.
Les cours de Victoria sont structurés, adaptés au besoin de ses clients et jamais répétitif. Je recommande vivement Victoria et malgré notre retour en France, je continuerai à prendre des cours en visio avec elle car il est rare de trouver une aussi bonne prof de pilates.
