I never thought that I would be able to train outdoors during the winter when it’s cold and rainy or that I would actually miss training while being off sick. Bootcamp SE16 is the best way to gain confidence, work out, achieve yours fitness goals and also have the most fun time with the loveliest people. Highly recommend it and 5 starts is what it deserves :)

Bootcamp SE16 is an amazing outdoor training team! Super friendly, the team make everyone feel included and part of a group - every month you have different challenges, team activities and fun workouts! Every trainer ensures you are comfortable with all exercises and ensure that you perform them correctly. Also, the location is amazing as you get to exercise in the park and near the hill.

I am really enjoying being part of Bootcamp, it has made a huge impact on me. For someone who was new to regular exercise and was pretty self conscious and nervous about it all, (I used to walk past Stave Hill and look on in awe at everyone exercising, thinking I could never do that!) I always come away from the classes feeling so much better. All the trainers are fantastic and really take the time to help everyone individually and tailor exercises accordingly. This is the longest i have kept up with my fitness - very diverse classes with both online and in person options - very helpful that they have both 7pm and weekend classes. The organiser is very involved and takes quite a few of the classes herself
There is an encouraging attitude, but they always emphasis safety and correct technique first - found out i was distributing my weight all wrong on several exercises!

I recently joined bootcamp and absolutely love it! I had become bored of my usual workout routines and was looking for a fun and social way to keep fit when i found bootcamp. There is such a great variety of different sessions to attend which are perfect for all levels of fitness and with so many classes to chose from (including weekends), it is so easy to fit into the working week. The instructors are positive, friendly and accomodating to specific needs- they really care about you getting the most out of each session. Everyone is so friendly and supportive, the amount of different class times ensures you’ll always find something that works for you during a busy week and the variety of different classes allows you to choose what kind of workout works for you! All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and forthcoming with advice, both nutritional and fitness. In the space of just 12 weeks I’ve gone from lazy, unmotivated and horribly unfit to a moderately active person, forming good habits and reaching goals I never thought possible for me! LOVE Bootcamp SE16. I didn't know how I'd go with outdoor classes especially on the colder/wetter days but the variety, wonderful coaches, amazing atmosphere and a wonderfully accepting and supportive community makes it easy to turn up night after night. Also important is the extra support each member gets if they become injured, want to lose weight, becomes ill or just need some extra motivation for example. Steph is always there to help and guide anyone who needs a little extra help for whatever reason (my pup with separation anxiety has also been welcomed to sessions along side me if I can't leave him at home). Lastly, the social aspect of Bootcamp SE16 is wonderful too - great way to meet locals and enjoy their company at the social functions organised periodically. So lucky to have Bootcamp in the area!

The classes are well structured and you do get your moneys worth.
After my 1 hr sessions i do feel like i am well worked.

Wonderful group of experienced trainers. I can only speak for the online classes, but I have found them great, especially as the trainers really pay attention to each individual participant, unlike other online trainings I have done before. There are always options provided to adjust for individual circumstances (e.g. pregnancy, or more intense versions of an exercise). I could even do catch-up sessions when I went on holiday, which meant that I did not lose out on the classes that I missed during my holidays. Highly recommended!

I joined post-partum with the intention of just losing the baby weight - and I stayed for the brilliant workouts, supportive community and awesome trainers. Yes it feels great to train outdoors (thanks Steph for teaching me that we don't have to run away from rain) and there is a variety of session to suit all needs, but what makes the Bootcamp special is the people. The trainers and members have built a community where it doesn't matter how fit you are, how old you are or even how far along your pregnancy you are, the important thing is that you show up. You will be cheered, you will be motivated, you will be encouraged to carry on. Give it a go!

I have been working out through Bootcamp SE16 since last autumn, and all I can say is what a fantastic local company it is and great community!! All instructors are really motivating, fun and work hard to make sure everyone works out in good form and pushes themselves fully every session. I originally started my journey having personal training sessions with Ellie and she pushed me hard and helped me achieve my press up goal. I then did the 6week accountability program in January and this was excellent. Steph put blood sweat and tears into this program and I’m so grateful for all the knowledge, support and tips she shared.
I have really enjoyed all online sessions since and look forward to starting outdoor sessions soon. I’d strongly recommend this company is local and have fitness or health goals.

This is a fantastic local resource. It's social, there is an ever changing eclectic mix of exercise routines, trainers and equipment, it's available everyday and it's in the beautiful ecological nature park. I usually get bored at gyms as I prefer to practice team sports...but in the last year I had to avoid playing football in order to save me from injuries...and then my wife registered me to the Bootcamp Se16 trial as a gift...and I just loved it!
You can have fun while doing a wide range of exercises for your entire body and you can adapt the intensity based on your fitness level.
I love the spirit of the sessions, all members are supporting each other and no one is showing off or making you feel uncomfortable.
Plus it’s outdoors and this adds more fun and al each session is unique!

I have been attending Bootcamp SE16 since 2017 I believe. The trainers are great and I enjoy the variety of classes. When I commit properly I definitely see a change in my fitness in weight loss and gain in stamina. I definitely recommend it to anyone; it is definitely better than the Gym.
I also enjoy taking part in Obstacle Course events with people from Bootcamp. I definitely recommend doing Tough Mudder or Spartan with the team. It gives you something to aim for and on the day it is a great team event.

I joined bootcamp SE16 after a whole year of not working out, I was quite nervous about starting to work out again but the trainers at Bootcamp are so friendly and helpful compared to a gym environment! The teachers are fantastic, the classes are friendly and supportive and it is a joy to exercise in our beautiful local parks. I have only started a bit over a month ago but I am very happy with the sessions and trainers. Everyone has an open ear for injuries and therefore provides modifications. I am a beginner so certain exercises differ from the advanced lot but all trainers make sure that I push myself each time. Stephanie in particular is very attentive to everyone's needs and offered nutritional advise which I really appreciated. One very important thing to mention is that Bootcamp SE16 takes exceptional precautions to ensure safety during the Pandemic. Equipment is constantly sanitized and all trainers keep an eye on the 2 meter rule. All fellow Bootcampers have been very warm and welcoming.

I joined Bootcamp SE16 in January of this year. Having not exercised in several years and also being quite over weight I felt nervous about joining. My main concern was feeling intimatidated or looked down on as my level of fitness was poor. All I can say is my worrying was unnecessary and joining Bootcamp was one of the best things I have done in a long time. The trainers are so supportive, encouraging and they make the sessions fun. Their exercises can be tough but they change them up to accommodate the individuals needs and capabilities. They take previous injuries, health problems, etc into consideration. The Bootcamp members are also lovely and made me feel really welcome. There is a real sense of team spirit. Since joining, I have lost almost a stone in weight and 2 inches off my waist. I still have a long way to go and with the support of the trainers and members I feel confident I will reach my target weight.

I joined the SE16 Bootcamp 6 weeks weight loss challenge with no regrets, definitely! It's highly motivating, structured and kept me on track to achieve my weight loss goals. Bootcamp SE16 is a very versatile way to get/stay fit among lovely people of absolutely all kinds of levels of ability and fitness...
First of all, Steph and all the trainers are exceptionally good! Secondly, the schedule is also very rich with different kinds of sessions on every of the days of the week, so you can pick and choose what challenges you the most and also work around your schedule. All exercises and sessions can be adapted to whichever level you're at but can also be hardcore even for the fittest.
I think the fact that it's also outdoors also massively contributes to your fitness and boosts both you immunity and your mood.
All bootcampers are a friendly and helpful bunch and it's just such a pleasure to sweat and pant together!

Trainers are great, there are a variety of classes and times to suit, and they are very good at keeping an eye on your form and technique (a huge benefit to other classes I have tried). Bootcamp SE16 is incredible and I cannot recommend it enough. I have been going for nearly 2 years, I started when I first moved to the area and it gave me an instant community - from my first session onwards, I have been able to walk down the street and always see someone I know - everyone is so friendly, supportive and lovely.
Secondly, it is a great thing to join for all fitness levels. There are people there of every shape and size, all fitness abilities, with all sorts of previous injuries - the trainers tailor it to every ability & injury, push you as hard as they need to but also know when to tell you to take a break.
Finally, it is COVID SAFE. Steph (the owner) and all the trainers are so hot on this. Class numbers are limited, they only do it in large spaces, no partner work that involves touching, we are always social distaned (the only time the trainers do yell at you is to tell you to space out) and they are strictly abiding by all the government rules.
I recommend this to anyone, even to start during the pandemic as you will improve your fitness, make new friends all whist knowing your covid safe!

This is genuinely the best Bootcamp / gym I’ve ever been to. I’ve been attending for just over 7 weeks now, everyone is so friendly and easy to talk to - I was nervous the first few times, but everyone puts you at ease so quickly that you want to keep going back!
Step and her team of trainers are brilliant, knowledgable, work you hard and make a point of getting to know each person who attends. It’s personable, they know your goals, check in to see how you’re getting on, offer advice, whether it be exercise, diet or lifestyle related.

This bootcamp has been a life-changer and life-giver for me. I recently moved from USA and was looking for an outdoor fitness community (like I had back home) after adding some weight in the transition here. Steph and her other instructors have always made me feel welcome, challenged me physically, and just care about their clients in general. She and her other instructors provide excellent workouts for people of all fitness levels, and each one is different from the next! You never feel like you’re doing the same workout twice. I have returned to Bootcamp SE16 for the third time in an attempt to supplement my regular training. There is a class for mothers where you can bring your children which is so convenient for me it was a no-brainer! I am really enjoying the class. I like the length of time spent on each set of exercises and am enjoying the challenge of the individual exercises. Steph and her team really know what they are doing - they mix it up, keep it fresh and enjoyable, and although its tough it isn't taken too seriously. This is not just a fantastic exercise class because it's so much more. I have attended for five years so I'm truly converted. The sessions are varied enough never to get boring but challenging enough to push you to improve your overall fitness levels. The classes are suitable for all abilities and are held in a lovely outdoor setting regardless of the weather conditions. Even in winter time the view from Stave Hill is impressive. The class is run by Stephanie, whom along with her professional team of instructors, are expertly qualified, enthusiastic and committed to getting you in the best shape of your life. Cajoled on (as opposed to shouted at) by the team, and urged on by your fellow bootcampers, you will be able to complete those last couple of reps and finish the session knowing you have really worked out. You will return for more because you will see the improvement, you will want to keep the momentum going and also catch up with the rest of the gang. It is way more successful than a gym membership and a lot more fun. Thoroughly recommended.

So glad I joined the Bootcamp SE16 family. The lack of gyms around Canada Water made me give up working out and that really affected my health and mood. Some of my neighbours recommended it a couple of years ago but I thought it ran only on weekends, which due to my job I couldn't commit to. Then I found out they run sessions also on weekdays at 7 pm which is perfect and I can bring my little one along while I wait for dad to come pick her up. I love training in a group and everyone has always been very friendly and welcoming, unlike a gym environment. Steph and all the other trainers are great, they always motivate and push us without shouting or being too harsh and I always finish my workout with a smile on my face even if burpees and push ups are still not my favourite exercises lol! When I started bootcamp SE16, I had not exercised at all for a couple years. I found the sessions challenging, they pushed me hard but because the circuits were so varied and the group was so motivating, I found myself enjoying and looking forward to my next session at the hill. Stephanie is a great trainer, she will idenitify your weak areas, point out how you can improve your form, give you tips on diet and generally push you hard. I noticed that my clothes fit better, I gained much neede upper body strength and I felt more energetic. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a little extra motivation and doesn’t want to get stuck in a boring gym routine.

Stephanie got me back on track - which was not an easy thing to do! I had stopped exercising and had no idea what I was doing foodwise and exercise wise. Stephanie pays super great attention to each member individually and you really feel like you are not lost in the crowd. Trainings are excellent and varied each time (I honestly dont know how you come up with so many varied trainings!) so you never get bored. I honestly look forward to each session and feel great afterwards. After just over a month of going mostly twice a week , I already feel better in my clothes and my body and have more energy. I recommend every single person who hates gym, to try this class. It is first time in my entire life that whenever I go on holidays I miss an exercise class 😆 ( I know it sounds strange but I really do). The most important and exciting thing for me about Bootcamp SE16 is that you are joining a group class but the service you receive is like having a PT, specially for me it means a million because I am dealing with my heart disease and I need my coach to have an eye on me and change some of the exercises for me. I've been attending Stephs bootcamp for nearly two years. The sessions are fun, fast and different everytime I go. I love that I can go to a 6pm-7pm session, have a decent work out and still have the whole evening free afterwards. There are so many sessions to choose from that there is no excuse not to go! Where can I start… Fab Bootcamp, trainers, people and classes. Loved every minute of it ;-) Ive been struggling for over a year to lose weight and get fit again following knee surgery, having given the soulless gym more of my money than my presences, I was reaching a desperate point as my weight and mood were getting me down. I explained to Steph my knee issue and she was super supportive throughout the process and every workout, providing alternative knee friendly exercises. I started the 6 week challenge early Nov (yes in the cold and rain!) but loved training outside in the fresh air. Ive been amazed how quickly I got fit and the best thing is Ive lost almost 4.7kg so far... with no fad diets just eating normally but through limited calories intake. I have really enjoyed this programme so much that I have decided to continue with Bootcamp after this challenge is over. Bring on 2020 healthy and fit. Thanks Steph ;-)

I moved to Canada Water last year, and I was looking for different sports groups to join. I found bootcamp se16, which was perfectly convenient for me as I lived around stave Hill. I took the six weeks trial, and it was amazing. You are up to your own pace, but the trainers keep an eye on you and know you by your name. You get to push yourself to beyond what you thought your limits. I enjoyed every session. It was like a social-exercise, where you get to make friends and share the experience of burning calories and building muscles with other trainees.
On you first few sessions, everyone welcomes you, and talks you through the different sessions, but you get to have your own experience. I recommend you try all sessions, and then pick the sessions that suits your time.
P.S. If you stopped going to the sessions, you are guaranteed that Stephanie will get in touch with you, and encourages you to come back again.
Bootcamp SE16 helped me to shave 2 minutes from my Saturday parkrun. I even have developed the mental state that I'm ready to take my muscles to bigger challenges. I did my first 60 miles bike ride. Few times, I ran back from work to stave hill (around 6 miles) to catch a bootcamp session.

This workout is a game changer! As a 43 yr old mum of two I've done my fair share of workouts and diets over the years. This is the 1st time I've seen such drastic results both mentally and physically in such a short time.

Bootcamp SE16’s 6-Week Challenge popped up on my Facebook a few times: Eventually I caved and booked in a chat with Steph, and I’m very glad I did! I needed to strengthen up following a long-term injury, and what I was doing on my own just wasn’t cutting it any more. Enter Steph and her team of trainers, and the accountability and choice of classes which came with them. I feel stronger, my core strength is much improved, and as a nice bonus I’ve dropped a few pounds. I’m not stopping here though, because when you find something that works why would you? And you won’t find a more supportive group and mix of abilities doing their thing alongside you. So don’t feel you have to be Jessica Ennis-Hill to get started; I’ve been quite happy to flail around in the fresh air with all the athletic prowess of Jessica Fletcher. I’m still out-lapping myself at the fitness level I was six weeks ago.

I used to attend Bootcamp SE16 regularly and not only is it lots of fun and a nice bunch of people, it really helped to get and keep me fit. You start to feel accountable to the group and it encourages you to kee on going, unlike the gym.
The group as a while is very inspiring and encouraging and please don’t feel overwhelmed if you’re a beginner - it’s great for all levels and you will soon be achieving more than you thought possible. It's fun and effective, but what makes the difference are the people, both trainers and participants. Been going to bootcamp with Steph for around 5 months now. The main thing about it is it's really fun. I've stuck with it, going around 3 times a week, and it's the only exercise that I've stuck with consistently. The people are nice, the training is hard (but effective) and Steph is a really great instructor and personal trainer.
As for the training itself, it's really varied and a lot of fun. Every session is different, we use Stave Hill to great effect, there's loads of equipment to use, it always get's mixed up. on Saturdays we do more team games and challenges, climbing ropes, relays and more.
In the time I've been going I have lost some weight, but much more size, as fat is replaced by muscle. I'm the fittest I've been in years, and happy for it.

I have been attending bootcamp for 8 weeks doing about 3/4 classes a week and the results i have seen so far are astonishing. i started the Yummy Mummy Bootcamp first which was great as gym time and childcare is a worry for most moms in the beginning, then I started to attend the regular classes as well and took my baby along in his pram. Each instructor was good about making modifications for me as well a keeping an eye on my little one while I was busy trying to keep up. Since starting bootcamp I have lost in total 13.2 inches and have gained so much muscle. The fact that the classes are held out doors work great for a new mom like me who requires a lot of flexibility and the group support among the other people that attend is great and supportive. I was pretty fit pre pregnancy and now post pregnancy having the flexibility of bootcamp with trainers that work you out like a personal trainer I am 10 percent away from my goal and look great!!!!! I have recently terminated my gym membership as the cost of unlimited seasons at bootcamp per month is half of what i was paying monthly at the gym saves cash as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great work out by a great trainer for a great price.

I attend boot camp about twice a week and will celebrate my first anniversary soon. The group accommodates people of all abilities and everyone is encouraging. While it's called boot camp and you have to work hard, the trainers are your cheerleaders, not your drill sergeants.

Being a regular (albeit slow) runner I was looking for some cross-training to compliment my running and cycling, at Bootcamp SE16 I have found so much more. Bootcamp has improved my running considerably, I can now jog up Greenwich Hill with ease; something that has alluded me for years!
Every workout is different and incorporates equipment such as: tyres, sandbags, ropes and kettlebells. The Bootcampers are friendly, encouraging and provide motivation when it’s needed the most.
So thank you Steph for making sure Bootcamp is always interesting, always challenging and always enjoyable.

I started doing bootcamp sessions as part of my recovery following an injury. I got so much more. The varied workouts will target your entire body, both strength and cardio, and, in a nutshell, they work. You really do get faster, stronger for longer. It is also possible to get modified exercises/intensity when needed if, like me, you are nursing some specific injuries.
Finally, everyone is friendly and welcoming, Steph takes good care of us and it's outdoor, which makes it really fun.

Whatever the weather steph and the group are out at the hill (if its raining we are training ) and it beats being stuck in a stuffy gym not really pushing yourself
Stephanie tailors each session to your individual needs depending on your level of fitness so if you're an ex couch potato or a marathon runner you can all do the same session at the same time and in my time at bootcamp no two sessions have ever been the same. Steph uses a variety of exercises (squats press ups and burpees) and training aids (from tyres to "battle ropes" to sandbags and "THE HILL") to push you to that body you have always wanted
I have been going to boot camp about 6-weeks and have lost almost a stone and half and feel stronger, fitter, faster and that's all down to Stephanie and my fellow bootcampers who offer support and encouragement.

Being someone that would always choose beer and pizza over exercise any day, I never thought I would join a bootcamp. But one day my other half found a flyer about Bootcamp SE16 and decided to give it a go (he on the other hand did enjoy exercise), and came home absolutely raving about it and how great it was. I of course knew this couldn't be true because it was doing exercise outside in a park, how could it be fun?! Eventually after about two months of hearing about it non-stop I gave in and went to give it a try, mainly just to get some peace!
Now it's three months later and I couldn't imagine not having Bootcamp in my life. I honestly never thought I would actually enjoy working out, but Steph and the rest of the group she whips into shape every week are some of the nicest people I've met, and they make you just keep wanting to go back! It sounds cheesy and I would have laughed it off a few months ago if people said to me that I would enjoy doing a bootcamp, but I absolutely do!! I feel healthier, happier and have a whole load of new friends in the process!

When we moved to London half a year ago, one of the most worrisome questions for me was how to organize my fitness program. When I met Bootcampers with Steph in a main role, I immediately decided to join. It looked exciting the first time I saw what they were doing - I did not believe that I can do the same. Tried a taster on Saturday games session, and I am absolutely HOOKED ever since!
Originally, my intention was just to manage/maintain body weight. But since joining 3 months ago, I feel the benefits gained are so much more than that. I cannot wait to go each time because it makes me incredibly happy! The people are so friendly, and welcoming I did not feel intimidated. The brilliant trainers provide such a good variety of workout, keep it entertaining for every single session. It is outdoor which makes it so much more pleasant than a window-less gym. Give this a try, you won't regret it!

I find I do a lot more in an at hour at bootcamp than at the gym, the pace is fast enough to get you in the zone, the time flies by. The trainers have the knack of finding that sweetspot - at the end you feel you have had a complete body workout though not so tough that you do not want to do it again. If new to town and looking for a bit of social there is usually someone organising a night out.

I discovered this bootcamp a few weeks ago, just wish I had found it earlier. Steph who runs it is excellent and caters for all types. Being in such a group really promotes effort and you push yourself to the max. There are different grades so don't be out off because whatever fitness level you are it's catered for.
Sometimes it's around Stave Hill in the Eco park or sometimes it's the open park . Good use of tyres , sandbags , rope work and numerous others exercises really makes it fun and beneficial.

I have mainly taken personal training sessions with Stephanie and she has been a lifesaver who not only had the dedication and the fight to keep you going but also empathises with you and is extremely conscious of your health and personal situation. I have a nerve trap in my neck which rendered my entire left hand side numb for a long time and she was helping gain my mobility back after a long spell of no movement at all. She had a plan which we worked according to and she was very conscious of my pain levels when exercising. I really appreciated that. She also gave some excellent nutritional and diet advice. All in all an excellent trainer and a great team.

These sessions have transformed me from a pot-bellied 40 something to a youthful, bouncy and vibrant human being. The sessions are always different, lively and the attendees are good fun to work with. I have been a customer since August last year and I feel amazing. This is suitable for all levels of fitness, including chain smokers like me so there is NO excuse. Don't be scared off by the word, Bootcamp! Yes it's hard, if you really push yourself. We are all different levels, all abilities, many with injuries like me, but if don't let yourself be held back and give it a go. If I can do with weak knees after surgery and a history of back problems there's no excuses! I was referred to this bootcamp by a work colleague as I’m getting married and certainly needed a kick to get into shape. The classes are not only motivating but at no point did I feel out of my depth or pushed to do something that I knew I couldn’t. The hour goes incredibly quickly and you have a wide range of activities to complete which gives a full body work out. You won’t be disappointed.
A bonus is everyone is lovely and has the same attitude that really helps. No one sits there and judges because you completed only 10/15. They encourage you to try and complete it next week or to build up. It’s very comforting that it’s not an atmosphere of failure and disappointment.
I would highly recommend to anyone that feels they need a group environment to give you that kick you need.

In a moment of rare bravery and fed up with my mummy tummy and wobbly bits, I sent an email to Bootcamp SE16 and said 'I think I'd like to come but I've had 2 babies and I'm really unfit and worried about not being able to keep up, and, and, and. I was secretly hoping for a reply saying 'no this isn't for you, just stay at home and eat biscuits' but Steph assured me all fitness levels are welcome, everybody has to start somewhere and to just come and give it a try.
I have to admit, halfway through session 1 I did consider just running away and never showing my face at Stave Hill again but I got through it with encouragement from Steph and the other more experienced bootcampers and the next day despite aches in places I never knew existed, I booked a block of sessions.
I am now in my 3rd month of Bootcamp and for the first time ever I have actually stuck at an exercise programme, I would even go as far to say as I enjoy it. I still have a long way to go but my fitness levels have already increased, I have more energy, my clothes fit better and my body confidence is increasing as I start to feel more like me again and less like a wobbly mummy who wants to blend into the background.
I attend both the yummy mummy sessions in the mornings (buggies are welcome) which is a really friendly group, we still work hard (don't be fooled by the cute babies) and since returning to work have been attending some of the evening and weekend sessions which I feel are pushing me even harder.
If I can do it, anyone can - I am a busy working mummy of 2 little boys and I could easily tell myself I don't have the time but I just make the time, somewhere in my week, for myself.
Your body will be around a lot longer than that expensive handbag, invest in yourself!
