Brilliant place. I have tried personal trainers before, but Rebecca beats them by a mile. She is really observant and pays detailed attention to the way you do the exercises. Unlike most gyms, the studio is nice and quiet too.
Fit Shape also provides you with apps to continue the exercises at home - easy to follow videos that really work and do not require a huge time commitment.
I have been going there for 8 weeks and feel my ch stronger and fitter. PLUS I have gone down a dress size. GREAT!!

Truly positive experience. The 6 week fitness programme was exactly what I needed to gain the fitness and confidence to start exercising regularly again. A comfortable setting with (importantly) experienced and skilled personal trainers, the option to train in the beautiful nearby park is an added bonus. Sessions feel rewarding and consistent - recommended for beginners as well as those who need added, further expertise with their longer term fitness goals!

I am in my late 50s and have been attending two early morning 1 hour sessions with Fitshape since 2008, initially with Nigel and most recently with Darren O'Toole.
The fact that I have continued for so long is a testament to the quality of their training (aerobic and strength) and the fact they make it enjoyable. As a result, I have been able to keep my weight down and continue with outdoor activities that many of my contemporaries have had to give up - triathlon, mountain walking, orienteering and nordik skiing. Their training has been very good for my mental well-being, enabling me to develop my career in a relatively high pressure role and hopefully make me more bearable at home!
Darren has the experience to produce a varied training programme which means that the hour passes very quickly and I always feel envigorated to start the day.
