Great support from Nige and Becky, even when doing online training with them. They messaged regularly and I found being accountable to someone really made me think twice about what I was eating and drinking, not just what I was doing at training. I would highly recommend the online training as well as the face to face PT sessions, whenever they might resume.

I’d never set foot in a gym before I took the plunge and started a 6 week programme with Becky at Fitshape over a year ago. I was dreading it but Becky put me at ease straight away and came up with a tailored plan to suit my goals and fitness levels. We have navigated various frustrating injuries together along the way and I feel better in mind and body. I still see Becky every week for a one to one and use the app to keep up with training in between. The gym is never too busy so you don’t feel stressed by other (fitter!) people being around and has a good range of equipment. In a nutshell, sign up - you won’t regret it!

I enjoy my sessions at Fitshape with Becky who is both professional and friendly. The daily workouts which I do at home are brilliant and now, after nearly a year, I don’t feel right if I haven’t made time to do them!
I can see that I’m in much better shape than I was and I’m stronger and better able to lift heavy weights - like my grandchildren!

I have been working with Nige, Becky and Sharon for the last 18 months. During this time I've significantly improved my all round fitness, especially my strength, stamina and energy levels. I've also reduced body fat and increased my muscle mass. I don't believe I would have made these gains without their help and motivation . I thought personal training was all about mindless boring exercise with someone you pay to shout at you to make sure you do it. The reality at FitShape is quite a pleasant surprise. They start you off easy and slowly build you up. They don't just focus on cardio, but balance it out with time on strength, muscle, flexibility, nutrition, and health. The flexibility stuff I thought would be pointless, but I was really happy how much 'younger' I felt after a couple of weeks. Now when I am sitting down cross-legged with the kids for an extended time, I am not then trying to stand up like an 80 year old arthritic on stilts. I feel great, thank you. 5 stars.

Suffering with the challenges of having multiple sclerosis for around 12 years, I became very lazy about exercising. My neighbour recommended Fit Shape and I am so glad I took the plunge and committed to getting fitter. I have been amazed at how much progress I have made in 6 months and feel much healthier, stronger and happier.
The Fit Shape Trinity holistic approach is brilliant. Nige devised a tailor-made exercise programme for me which I follow at home, he totally understands my neurological limitations and my mobility and balance are improving in leaps and bounds. I am amazed that I can now stand on one leg and do the “rock on Tommy” double thumbs up move! I really love the Fit Shape app, it keeps me accountable and there is a great range of exercise routines to follow between my fortnightly one-to one sessions at the Fit Shape studio. This combination keeps me on track and motivated.
I will never run a marathon, but I am thrilled at the way committing to regular exercise has improved my general health. Whatever your level of fitness, I totally recommend Fit Shape. The biggest surprise for me has been how much FUN getting fitter has been. You should see me in my hallway following Nige’s air boxing video – I absolutely love it!

I've wasted lots of money on the gym by paying for a yearly membership and not going. I was sceptical about getting a personal trainer but since starting with Fit Shape, I noticed within 6 weeks weight loss, increased strength and endurance. I discussed my goals at the very beginning and they developed a personal plan for our sessions as well as told me about apps that can help track my lifestyle including their very own one which has helped.
Tony (my personal trainer) and Nigel (the owner) really push me do that extra rep, push up, squat or even do an extra 10 seconds on the tread mill/bike, where I wouldn't have done so alone in the gym.
They make sure that you're performing the exercise properly which helps focus on the correct areas of the body and also avoids injuries.
I can't recommend Fit Shape enough and believe that now I am able to achieve my fitness goals which I haven't been able to in the past.
