I have been training with James for nearly a year. Prior to working with James I really struggled to find the motivation to hit my weight and fitness goals, and really disliked public gyms.
James personal approach has been invaluable, I look forward to our sessions which are totally tailored me and my goals and he is always on hand to give advice.
The studio is equipped to a high standard and workouts are rarely the same which keeps it engaging and fun.
I can highly recommend James if you are looking for a more personalised and private approach if you are looking to get fit.

I’ve been strength and conditioning training with James for twice a week for over 2 years and have made fantastic progress! My program is progressive and varied and is tailored to me, so is relevant to my other sporting pursuits. James is professional and patient and pushes me to the limit, explaining clearly any adjustments I need to make to my technique. The private studio means I don’t have to wait around, as I did with my previous trainer, in a busy gym. James is knowledgeable and committed and I can highly recommend him.

James came through recommendation and has been fantastic at helping me achieve my goals. I wanted to build strength for climbing and bouldering and James designed a program to help me with this. He clearly and simply explains how to perform the movements and exercises and how they will benefit me whilst climbing. James is a fantastic trainer.
He was able to help me with my weight gain program, which is something I had always struggled with. In a 10 week structured program, James had a huge impact.
He takes a very mature, scientific, and economic approach to training, minimising injury risk and also time needed in the gym.
The private studio structure, works really well, and is incredibly well equipped, with a handful of items that aren't available in most gums!
He's a great trainer in a great set up.

I've used James for a few years now and couldn't recommend him more. As someone who knew I needed to exercise more but didn't feel comfortable in a public gym, having one-on-one sessions in a private gym space has been a revelation. His knowledge is exceptional, there's a wide variety of equipment and routines to suit different requirements and I've found I particularly enjoy learning to box. He's also very knowledgeable in terms of nutrition etc. I feel dramatically better than I did when I wasn't exercising.

i’ve been seeing james for over 6 months, 3-4 times a week & the transformation my body has made in that time has been more than any other time in my life. i had tried it all, HIIT, spinning, kobox etc & nothing had worked like controlled weight lifting. i also hate cardio with a passion so to find a personal trainer who could change my body without it was amazing. james is also super flexible on times & has been really helpful fitting in sessions & changes last minute to fit around my unpredictable job
