The Strength Sessions, in person or virtually are just about the best classes out there. If you want a class where there is no judgement, openness to all levels and a pure commitment to train well in an effective space of time they are the classes for you,
Huge care by Tom who is knowledgeable and great fun.
I have attended his classes for the past 3 years and they have helped transform and continue to push my fitness and strength to new levels.
Tom knows exactly how to get the best out of everyone. And the regulars who attend are a great group to train with.

A few years back I had no clue how to get fit and healthy but knew that no classes, PTs or online workouts I had tried before in London would do it. Fast forward 4 years (possibly more!) since I first took Tom’s class and am still here (!) loving it and loving myself for doing it. Tom is really amazing - he’s fun, knowledgeable and simply a brilliant trainer who knows what works for you and is clearly passionate about get his clients fit and healthy. I would definitely recommend trying his class and start making a difference to your own life!

A really great experience, highly recommended - intensive training but varied and tailored to your individual needs, whether in person or virtual. Regardless of your strength or fitness level, you will feel the difference within a few sessions. Tom keeps you motivated, educated and challenged throughout the class. It’s a tough workout but so rewarding when you finish!

I chanced upon Tom at More-Athletic over 5 years ago during my search to replace high-impact sport with less physically damaging activities. He introduced me to the perfect solution for my situation, gymnastic and body-weight exercise. I have been training with him ever since.
During this time he has helped me build and maintain my musculature, strength, balance and flexibility using parallel bars, rings, box and floor work. The sessions are challenging, fun and always include many variations of handstand - a firm favourite!
I highly recommend More-Athletic. Tom is a very experienced fitness professional, extremely knowledgeable in his field and has been invaluable in helping me maintain athleticism and physique.

I’ve been training with Tom for over 5 years and he’s ok. Just kidding, he’s great. I find the Strength Sessions to be a really smart program that builds on itself and makes it easy to see improvements week on week. Especially appreciate how tailored the instructions are as classes are much smaller than at your average gym. Also 30 mins is the perfect length to fit into a busy day. The switch to online has been great although I’d recommend trying to go in person if you’re a newbie so Tom can get to know you. And if you meet him, don’t tell Tom I wrote a nice thing about him.

I've been training with Tom for around 3 years now, first on the small class programme (4 people only) and then privately. He adjusts the difficulties of workouts to each individual and pays close attention to form (which is important to me because I feel like in big classes I rarely get that). I would describe the workouts as calisthenics / bodyweight / movement / gymnastics / strengths training with a bit of handstand training that help build strengths over time. There is no cardio involved (thanks god!). The gym that he is training in (in the Dilly) is not as busy so has plenty of space, towels, showers & water. Tom is funny & patient so I'd highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in strengths training.

I started training with Tom at More-Athletic Body at the start of the Pandemic. His training style, adapted to home workouts, was a perfect way to stay fit during lockdown. Now gyms, etc have reopened, it’s clear Tom’s workouts are totally complementary to traditional gym training (weights/cardio) and my core has never felt so strong. If you’re considering More-Athletic Body, just give it a go and I doubt you’ll look back.

Great small group training - Tom's 30min sessions are very efficient and effective, with the 4 month rotation striking the right balance between variation and being able to see real progress. Easy to do virtually with little space or equipment required. Strongly recommended.

Intelligent training at an affordable rate! These strength classes are exceptional; tailored to one’s ability with constant challenges and progressions. The classes are entertaining and adaptable with a highly knowledgeable, personable trainer! These convenient online classes are now an essential part of my day! Minimal equipment but maximum sweat!

Tom is a great coach (and the only person that can get me soar in 30min, not because I m super fit but super good at doing just enough). I definitely recommend anyone to go to Tom class, you get private attention (only 4 four people) and you enjoy the central location. I did not think you could progress so much with that. It made a better Yogi and climber. And he is learning French. Thank you Tom :-)
