Alex is a great PT. He’s really experienced and knowledgeable on the right exercises for his clients, and he’s got a focus on mobility as well which helps prevent injury. He mixes sessions up so they don’t become boring and really focuses on technique so you get the best out of every movement.
It can be tough to find the right PT but Alex is professional, friendly and knows how to work with you to get the best out of you. If you’re looking for a PT who has a strong track record, who will push you just the right amount and will make your workout fun, get in touch with Alex.

I would highly recommend Alex as a personal trainer. I reached out to Alex after spending the majority of lockdown at home, sitting down at a desk. I've been training with Alex for years now. He's helped me not only get in and stay in shape, but more importantly feel better in myself physically and mentally. Alex combines real in-depth knowledge about exercise with how the body works, or doesn't work at times. He's more interested in mobility and curing aches and pains than bulking up. And when I injured my back, Alex was fantastic at changing my routine and types of exercise to manage the pain, and build back strength. He's also great fun to work with and makes training taxing enough but still really enjoyable. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I’m graphic designer and have been for the past 10 years. I spend my whole day seated and developed chronic lower back pain around a year ago.
I decided to seek help and was recommended Alex through a good friend - as a Personal Trainer who could help me without the need for pain killers and constant massage.

Really enjoying my PT sessions with Alex. We started a month before lockdown and had to transition to online training over Skype - but it’s been great! Training from home has helped me stick to my fitness routine and Alex does a great job of making the sessions fun. He’s also extremely understanding of my busy schedule in the Emergency Services and has a real knack for helping me with me aches and pains. My lower back issues of the past has vanished and I feel very strong right now.

Very professional with great knowledge. Over the past year I've started cycling but without a correct bike fit, so with bad posture, I developed neck and lower back pain. I had been struggling with achy sore shoulders and knew I had bad habits with posture, until I found Alex at NW Personal Training. I got in touch and he provided me an exercise plan to do at home which really helped! After just a couple of weeks doing the dimple (and quick) exercises I can tell that I am sitting and standing better and my shoulder aches and pains have gone.

I have struggled with a shoulder injury for a while now through boxing training, to the point where It was really affecting my training and my performance. After trying various different physio therapists etc and getting nowhere I spoke to Alex, he listened to what my problem was and then designed a programme for me to rehab my shoulder. he explained the importance of sticking to this routine and how rehab works with injuries which was really helpful. Sticking to this programme has helped to improve my shoulder injury and has allowed me to continue with boxing.
