I've been doing weight training for the last 2 years and although I was pretty happy with my progress when I met Mikhail my whole approach to training changed. He's taken the time to properly teach me the principles and correct form, while also always encouraging and motivating me to be my best self both physically and mentally. I now feel a lot more confident and I have a good structure to my training that tackles my weaknesses and helps me become stronger. I've learned so much already and I still have a long way to go. I'd highly recommend Mikhail as a trainer , he is very knowledgeable, professional and most of all an incredible human being. Thank you Mikhail and I look forward to our future sessions!

Best decision I have made for myself. Before I started training with Mikhail I felt lost and frustrated when it came to my training, unhappy in my body and was binge eating. I needed someone to be accountable to get me on the right track again. Despite being a personal trainer myself I knew how to help my clients but when it came to myself who was experienced in using weights I didn’t know how to structure my workouts to get the best out of my body and get stronger. So when I came across Mikhail and saw how he took a lot of care in teaching his clients online and offline how to lift weights optimally and safely with good form it ticked all my boxes. I have been training with him for over 6 months now and I have loved every second of it. I am the strongest I have ever been, I am more confident in the gym and in my body. He is extremely attentive and detailed in his feedback in the online coaching and his belief and encouragement makes the process so motivating. He always goes the extra mile and ensures that the programme is specific to me to strengthen my weaknesses and improve constantly. it has honestly been the Best decision of self-investment I have made and I look forward to see what my body can achieve as time progresses. Without a doubt, the best trainer I've worked with.
Mikhail sees each client as an individual and will coach you based on your individual goals and weaknesses.
He doesn't do a 'one size fits all' program.
For me, this is golden!
My weakness doing too much volume, and as a result, often end up overtraining. He saw this right away and taught me to understand the importance of boundaries and long term progress.
When I started training with Mikhail, I'd come from three years of constant pain from a back injury. At that time, I thought I wouldn't be able to perform a barbell squat again.
Three months later I perform squats with a full range of motion, pain-free. Six months in, I can perform a 1x BW squat and feel stronger than ever.
I'm starting a new 12-week training block now to further progress towards my goals, and there was no doubt, Mikhail was the one I was getting coached by.

I needed a tailored program to pick up from the physio exercise plan after a back problem. I mostly do my own schedule with remote advice and a monthly one to one session.
I'm not a gym bunny type at all and the progress has been hard at times but I've been able to improve my stamina and strength. I'm much more confident about regular day to day activities like lifting that I might have been worried about doing before, even simple things like helping someone to carry a pushchair on the Tube.
The programs have a good mix of core, machine and weight exercises and the free weights section is not the mystery it was before I started.
I would definitely recommend anyone in similar circumstances to give it a go. I didn't think I was the personal trainer type but the whole experience has been very positive.

Training with Mikhail once a week over the past 3 months has been a breath of fresh air! I had previously never done any proper weight training,
Only HIIT classes which were always temporarily satisfying; not a long term sustainable way to stay fit.
He’s taught me how training is all about being in touch with your mind / body.
He’s exceptionally patient and knowledgeable, after every session I’m buzzing for the rest of the day and feel like I’ve gotten so much out of the 60 minutes. 6 weeks into my course with Mikhail from Power moves fitness. I felt very intimidated by the gym and felt quite nervous about looking stupid most of the time when training. The whole process has been so knowledgable and I’ve learnt such a huge amount just in this first 6 weeks not only in technique but in lifestyle and nutrition too. I already feel so much more confident and can really start to feel my body changing and getting stronger. The structure of the course is super easy to get onboard with and he offers constant help throughout the whole process. Would recommend to anybody. Can’t Wait for the next 6 weeks!

I've been training with Mikhail at PMF for about 6 weeks, and in that short amount of time, I've hit a few PBs and I've noticeably lost weight. I feel stronger and motivated to train, and genuinely look forward to our sessions together. I was looking for a good trainer that wasn’t a ‘certified in one weekend’ deal. PMF has credibility, experience and is always looking to stay ahead of the knowledge curve. Being a triathlete my training needs are very different that the typical gym person. Myself and a friend trained with Mikhail some years back. He pushes you outside of your comfort zone (safely), but that's where the magic happens.
