Great to have Rupert keeping me on the straight (posture) and narrow (barring the odd croissant). I feel as well armed for covid times as I can be in my 70’s, thanks to his holistic programme. I recommend it - plus Wim Hof - to compliment conventional medicine and stay healthy.

I have been working on keeping fit for the past 8 years, without actually really understanding what I was doing and most importantly how I should be exercising to receive the best benefit for my efforts, so basically all I was doing was sweating a lot but not really achieving anything, or even potentially doing an injury to myself.
Since I started Personal Training with Rupert Hambly I have more endurance, confidence and much more get up and go. I not only enjoy the workouts and feel fantastic after each session, but I have a much better understanding of how to get the most out of a workout session and more importantly doing the exercises without injuring myself.
I could not have achieved this without Rupert, as his knowledge of the human body, how each muscle works and how to get the most out of each workout just amazes me. I feel very confident with any workout sessions that Rupert plans for me as he knows my age and how much I can achieve and he pushes me to my limit every session and I am proud to say that I get though it each time.
Rupert will help you achieve your goal but is also aware that everyone is different and will strive to help you reach your goal with enjoyment. He knows his stuff and I would recommend to anyone wanting to achieve results.

I have been training with Rupert and his team at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre for six months and am very pleased with the results. I corrected my posture for the better and decidedly improved my level of fitness and overall wellbeing. The team and Anca in particular are very knowledgeable and motivating. The exercise program is based on circuits training, and workouts are challenging and diverse but never overwhelming. What has been of most value to me is their holistic approach to health and fitness. While the exercise program is a key component of the training, the coaching has also been covering lifestyle and nutrition, all of which is tailored to one’s needs and level of fitness. I can honestly say that I am a totally different person now - I feel better, I look better and I am so much happier in all areas of my life.
Rupert and Nick have been absolutely amazing - they are patient and supportive; they are incredibly knowledgeable and have helped me to learn to believe in myself in ways that I genuinely didn't think were possible. My back problems have improved to such an extent that my chiropractor has commented on the improvements and for the first time in my adult life they have given me a diet plan which works and is easy to maintain.
After having spent most of my life battling my weight I now have the knowledge, motivation and support to achieve body goals that I never dreamt were possible. It's a cliché but Rupert and Nick have really changed my life :)

I’ve been training with Rupert Hambly Health and Performance, Personal Training team since 2010 and I can honestly say that these guys are a world apart from all the other trainers I’ve met and trained with. Their coaching is a continuous process where not only they assign an individual tailor made program for each client and choose different tactics to push him during every session while continuously motivating and inspiring him, but they also manage to get to know each client to fully understand what issues or obstacles might be hindering this particular client’s results and then solve those using various techniques and methods.
Over the last 6 years the team and I set and achieved various goals: getting me into a fitness model type shape, training me for strength and endurance, transforming my body to perfectly fit my wedding dress, supporting me while I was pregnant and completely retraining me after I had my baby via a C-section.
Their holistic approach is what makes them absolutely unique and so effective! Cannot recommend them highly enough. They will change your life!

I wanted to improve my posture, and increase my strength. After spending over a year in classes and seeing minimal results, I signed up with Rupert Hambly Health and Performance and I'm so glad that I did. In the space of four weeks I saw a huge change in my posture (from a shrinking 5"4, back to my usual 5"6), and in the duration of the 6 months I originally signed up for, I went from uncoordinated spaghetti arms to lean and infinitely stronger than I thought possible in 6 months.
I also realised how little I knew about health in terms of fitness and wellbeing, so after my 6 months was done, I decided that I still had a lot to learn and renewed for another 6.
If you're on the fence about getting a trainer, get off it! I can't stress how highly I recommend this team!
