I have trained with Tirrel for over 3 years. He is very competent in his role - with him the training is tough but also fun and very importantly you achieve results. He is a top class personal trainer - I would recommend the gym and Tirrel to anyone looking to take their fitness to the next level.

Tirrel has been my trainer for almost two years now. He is very professional, knowledgeable and always keeps the workouts interesting - we never do the same workout twice. He makes it easy to fit session into my schedule, as we revisit times that work best on a week by week basis. I have just finished a 12 week / 36 session body transformation programme with Tirrel, training together at City Fitness for 36 sessions. Prior to starting, I had never done any strength work before (in part because of back injuries), or trained with a personal trainer, and I was a little apprehensive. However, I needn’t have worried.
Tirrel developed a gym programme that was both challenging and varied, and pushed me to improve each session. At the same time, he provided me with an easy to follow nutrition plan, and I very quickly started to see results. Tirrel is also very personable, reliable (he never cancelled any sessions, and always on time), and a great source of motivation. These factors meant that I really enjoyed working with Tirrel, and achieved amazing results.
I look forward to working with Tirrel again, and I encourage others (in particular, office workers like me) to train with him.

I’ve been training with Tirrel for almost 3 months and already achieved my initial goals. He is very knowledgable, maintains your interest with constantly changing sets, a good motivator and someone who knows how to get the best out of people. In the strongest terms I recommend square mile fitness. Tirrel is a top class personal trainer. I trained with him for a year and in that time vastly improved my strength. I can now do pull ups!! I went to him with a back issue and he worked a challenging program to keep me fit but also make sure I wouldn’t hurt my back again in future. Tirrel’s positive, focussed and friendly attitude is what makes him stand out versus other trainers in the industry. Honestly I think he helped my mental health as much as my physical! Don’t hesitate to book an intro, he is a professional who makes you feel comfortable in the gym regardless of your fitness level.

With the two months that i was with Tirrel i can definitely say progress was made and massively. Not only did he understood the goals i had but he was also a great teacher which allows me now to train independently. Having a personal trainer for the first time, i was a bit apprehensive at first. but Tirrel really reassured me and is just a great guy to speak with. Great atmosphere to train in, i spend much of my time in gyms and havent felt as welcomed as i have in this place. Highly qualified and friendly trainers. I trained with Tirrel and got great results, he always kept my sessions interesting and challenging. I had trained for a long time previously but always struggled to gain weight and mass, not with Tirrel! I have been training with Tirrel for more than 2yrs now and have referred more than 3 people who have had the same outstandingly successful results I have.
Whatever your goals are, you will smash them working with Tirrel if you stick to the workout and nutrition plans but that part is up to you. Tirrel designs the programs and shows up everyday with a giant smile and a ton of energy; if you commit to them and maintain discipline, there are no limits to the changes you can make!

I have worked with Tirrel for about a 1 1/2 years now, and have achieved excellent results together. My body physique is the leanest i have ever been while still adding muscle. Tirrel customizes all my plans and nutrition monthly making all adjustments needed based on my weight and and body fat levels. Hes knowledge is without a doubt the best i have experienced and I'm never afraid to ask him for hes opinion or help and advice and hes always there when i need him even though i probably drive him mad. You only have to look at Tirrel's own physique and background to know, he knows what hes talking about.

I searched around for a few different providers for 12-week body transformation courses, and Tirrel stood out from the beginning. He is friendly, knowledgable, supportive and tailored a plan and approach for me based on my background. I think one thing that really helped was his ability to read how things were going and what type of person I am, to try and keep the program straddle a balance between pushing me as far as it could, but not being unattainable. Really great trainer, program and also a top guy. Couldn't recommend enough!

Fantastic experience, education and most importantly results.
I've been training with Tirrel for a number of years now, which straight away is an indication of how good the training is as I'd usually have dropped by the wayside long ago. Constantly challenging, interesting and motivational utilising numerous different styles of training for all genders, ages and abilities, the latter of which will rapidly improve.
T goes the extra mile in getting you the results you want as can be seen from his work ethic, always the first in in the morning and the last to leave. He'll even devise a nutritional plan, (and for those that like the details) the macros involved at different stages.
I've not only seen results (Dropping from 85kg to 76kg) my body composition has also changed (22% body fat, to 12% body fat) increasing my fitness and overall health as well as my aesthetics.
He has proved a god send in my recovery from a ruptured PCL which left me unable to even jog. I am squatting, leg pressing and lunging my way back to a triathlon.
Always with a smile on his face and enthusiastic to the core. Someone I now class as a friend and not just a PT.
If you can get in to book a block of sessions I wouldn't hesitate.
