I never really appreciated the role of a personal trainer until Peter of Total Transformation became my personal trainer. I warmed to Peter’s positive energy and approach to my twice weekly sessions immediately. In fact I would literally run to the gym for our sessions and this is from the person who couldn’t understand how Peter could mention exercise and fun in the same sentence!
Right from the outset Peter pushed me to work out to the best of my ability in spite of my protests of not being able to do what Peter asked of me but he taught me that my ability to follow through with an exercise was based on mind over matter and that thought process in a six month period led to a 14 pound weight loss, a strong physique, muscles, and confidence.
Peter taught me how to lift weighs correctly, floor exercises, to strengthen my core, how to use the medicine ball to gain upper body strength (which I lacked), great boxing techniques and so much more. He treated my right hip when I could hardly walk and most important of all Peter is a sincere individual who believes in helping others achieve their fitness goals and is a really lovely individual.

Training with Peter really is transformational! When we met I was training solo to improve my posture (too many hours at a desk). He immediately saw my technique wasn’t great so showed me simple adjustments to make each exercise more effective - even things like press ups, which I’d no idea I’d been doing wrong for years. He’s patient, disciplined and works you hard so that’s the mindset you train with but he keeps it fun by varying the exercises and goals for the day. I never wanted to hire a PT but now I don’t train without Peter - I achieve more in an hour with him than three on my own. He’s a genuinely nice guy, I trust him and see the results so know it’s worth the extra effort!

In the five months that I've known Peter Erdos, I have been able to make such a dramatic transformation in my life in nearly every aspect. Yes, he physically trains me hard by always pushing me to "do one more". Yet he is very aware of exactly how far I am capable of pushing every single moment of my training. His positive encouragement is second to none. I've lost nearly FOUR STONE since 24 June, and I've gained about 15% more muscle mass. I've gone down about 3 dress sizes, and I'm stronger than I've ever been. And these are only a few of the physical changes. Peter can sense when I'm not concentrating or mentally distracted about something. He expertly counsels me on how to work through different negative thoughts and emotions that inevitably creep up during the training process. He helps me gain a broader perspective on how to keep a healthy balance in my life.
I LOVE training with Peter three days per week, but my session today was especially rewarding. It was the second time that we've worked and trained together. He asked for my help in lifting weights for him so that he could train his muscles using negative motion, a type of resistance training. He is absolutely amazing to watch in action. Because he has such definition in his muscles, it's easy to see what and how the body parts should be working and moving. He truly leads by example; he practices exactly what he preaches. I like that a lot.
We have such an incredible relationship; we are like brother and sister. Yeah, I really give him a hard time verbally, but he gives me an equally hard time physically. So we're even. The thing is, we are such a perfect match of personalities, and not just when we're training together. I enjoy spending time talking with him and getting to know him a little more every week, usually over a nice cuppa. When other trainers watch us work together, they tell us that we inspire and encourage them even more. I've never experienced anything quite like it before. It's an amazing feeling.
