I started Backyard sessions after a failed attempt back in to CrossFit. I suffered an ankle injury 6 months before the pandemic which completely wiped out any ability to play rugby, a sport I love.
While I’m still waiting for surgery, I’ve found the Backyard has filled the void in training I was looking for - the fun and camaraderie! It’s so nice to go and train somewhere that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
You don’t get an absolute killer workout where you feel like you’re dying afterwards but you don’t need one! I know the day after I’ve been that I’ve trained and I feel stronger than I did before I started.
I’m confident training with Georgina even while injured and look forward to being able to train with a brand new ankle.
Georgina is professional and genuinely cares about her clients.

Skilled, compassionate and knowledgable personal trainer! I have been training with Georgina in different mediums for 8 months and have seen a massive improvement in my fitness, nutrition and general health. Georgina doesn't only focus on weight loss and numbers like other trainers but brings an amazing amount of knowledge and unpicking of bad thought patterns and habits around fitness. I have learned so much and developed a lot in strength training especially! Her Backyard sessions push you to achieve while at the same time creating a supportive and fun community. Georgina’s backyard sessions are awesome! Training with Georgina’s groups are a lot of fun, and it’s a very supportive and inclusive environment. I’ve been training with Georgina for a couple of years now and I’ve noticed a big difference in my health, fitness and strength. They are great if you just want to exercise for fitness, or if you want to track progress in getting stronger and faster. The sessions work for everyone, whether you are completely new to training or have been in it for the long haul! It’s a great space for a healthy mind and body, and Georgina provides lots of advice about nutrition and health, and about developing a positive relationship with food and your body, rather than focusing on loosing weight and dieting. I’ve been coming to sessions in the Backyard for nearly a year. In that time, I have got fitter, stronger and lifted heavier weights than I thought possible. Georgina is a force of nature and a great trainer. She always makes sure my form is good and I’m doing things properly, even if she has to repeat herself most weeks! She does this with good humour and comes up with the most inventive, memorable coaching cues.
The Backyard has a great sense of community, encouragement and fun. Nobody takes themselves too seriously and we support each other. I go for the workout, but the chat is good too and there is lots of laughter. I look forward to coming to sessions here, which is not how I felt when I went to the gym.

I absolutely love Georgina’s backyard sessions. I never thought I’d find some exercise that I actually look forward to, and that actually helps with losing weight and changing my body shape. Tyre flipping and hammering is all great fun, and you have a good chat at the same time with some really great people. When I first joined it was on my route home…now I seem to be travelling 40minutes out of my way to keep going - I just love it!

Georgina's Backyard sessions are a great place to train if, like me, you would have no clue what to do in a gym. She is great at explaining how to use all the equipment and how each exercise benefits you. There's no judgement whatsoever, and the group is so social and friendly, I felt like I fit in straight away.
I love how Georgina's approach to fitness isn't just centred around getting skinny or looking the 'right' way, but feeling stronger, more healthy and better about yourself, as well as reaching personal goals.
I've definitely learned things about nutrition and exercise and done things I never thought I would do (like tyre flipping and sledgehammering!) I would recommend Georgina to anyone looking for a fun, social but focused way to get fit.

Well, where do I start!
I am usually your typical yo-yo dieter, I struggle with body confidence and I’m the girl you usually have to drag to the gym!
But Georgina has managed to change all of that. I started my PTs with Georgina back in April, and swapped to her backyard sessions after the Summer holidays. Georgina has managed to keep me focused and made every session different and enjoyable!
Georgina has also taught me so much about nutrition, and is continuing to help me to unlearn all of the things that have been instilled in me from the “diets” over the years. Georgina always pushes me to the best of my ability and I feel I have gained so much more confidence being back at her sessions! Thank you for your consistent support it is much appreciated 😊

I joined the backyard sessions in August 2022 after losing my fitness during the pandemic. I enjoy the back yard sessions, no workout is ever the same and the group is always a lovely bunch of supportive people. The fact that I go even if it's raining is testament to how enjoyable they are. Georgina is a great PT, will always answer any questions you have and makes you feel relaxed from the get go, she's also just a really nice person who actually cares about you.

Georgina started training me around 5 years ago after I approached her for some advice. She had trained me in some group classes but I wanted more from my training. I always felt a bit embarrassed speaking personal trainers as I was worried I would be judged on my weight or my lifestyle. Georgina was completely different and I knew she was the trainer for me!! She made me feel comfortable with my body and learn to love it again. I love her energy and her enthusiasm to motivate all clients.
I had lost weight in the past but not in a way that was sustainable, Georgina educated me on how to live my best life without taking many different supplements, missing social events or making sacrifices in my diet but how to find the balance to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle.
During my first session with Georgina we discussed what it was I would like to get out of my training and if there were any particular areas I wanted to focus on. For me I just wanted to be healthy with a great body but I also had problems with my posture. Georgina made sure a full body work out was incorporate into every single training session and within weeks I was seeing amazing results and my posture was improving tenfold, as didn’t my confidence and mental health. She turns up to every session with an excellent energy which in my opinion makes training a pleasure!
Even now after 5 years, Georgina continues to educate herself on nutrition and training. She is like a fountain of knowledge but continues to learn.

The new year came and I felt rubbish about how I looked and I wasn't happy so I joined Georgina's group at the start of January. I've been counting my calories, drinking plenty of water (between 3 and 4l a day) and making sure I'm in a deficit for the week and lowering calories when I've needed to. I've still had my treats, I've still had chocolate every day. I have pizza most Saturdays. I've made sure I've got atleast 10k steps in each day, even when I wasn't doing the school run or walking outside, I would walk round the house. I joined the zoom classes with Georgina, which I really enjoyed. Now I've looked back and compared photos, I can't believe how different they are. This only equates to 10lbs on the scales but it's also 24 inches lost off my whole body. I'm really pleased with this progress and I know I'm finally going in the right direction. It's not all about how I look though, my mental health has really improved from eating healthily and exercising, my skin has improved, my strength and fitness have vastly improved and I'm loving how toned my shoulders have become again and I know the rest will follow. You can get where you want to be, you just have to want it. I'm so glad I took that step in January, I've loved being in the group, everyone is really supportive and encouraging and I couldn't have done it without them.

I have been training with Georgina since March 2017. I have done both PT and group classed and they have both been amazing! PT is totally focused on you and what you need, even focusing on things like posture which wasn't ever mentioned with other trainers I'd had. Session were always well planned and varied. Group training has by far been one of the best things I've done, meeting Georgina's other clients, I have made some brilliant friends and there is a so much support. Training with Georgina isn't just about body goals, she is so focused on giving her clients knowledge, building their self confidence and giving them a support network so they can always continue to progress.

With her it’s not just about the 121 training, or group training but it’s also about what goes on outside of the gym - teaching you the fundamentals about training and nutrition so you understand how to keep yourself fit and healthy in the best way.
She has built an amazing team ethos, you become part of a family who work together to encourage and support each other. That’s the difference that keeps the momentum going and sets Georgina apart from all the other PTs out there.

She uses a range of approaches, mixing things up so you never get bored with your training and the online support facility offers that little bit extra to ensure you always have somewhere to ask questions and check you’re on track.
I absolutely love my Personal Training sessions with Georgina - I can say, hand on heart, I have never had so much fun with my training and I have never achieved such results, which are not only being noticed but are also sustainable. I completely trust her and I have total confidence her knowledge but most importantly I feel like I can be myself and she will be there without judgement, supporting me every step of the way through my fitness journey!!

I started training with Georgina in July 2019 and it is one of the best decisions I have made. First of all I started PT sessions with Georgina to help build my strength and confidence and then I also started joining her group sessions. Georgina is extremely knowledgeable, makes every session fun and really takes the time to explain the exercises so not only do you know how to do them properly, but you also understand why you are doing them.
On top of the PT and group sessions Georgina also offers advice about nutrition, gives you great reading recommendations and during lockdown she has also been offering her Facebook group meditation sessions.

I started training with Georgina earlier this year and have loved it especially during lockdown. The workouts are challenging but Georgina offer so much encouragement and entertainment it’s easy to find the motivation! The online community that she has built up is great for bringing people together and providing support, I’ve made new friends through being part of it. I’ve never loved exercise to be honest! Hated going to the gym and always suffered from a shoulder injury so didn’t think I could lift weights and do some exercises until my friend introduced me to Georgina. I had done a few of Georgina’s spinning classes and circuit training at another gym and always loved them, the classes were always full and so much fun. So when she moved into another gym I followed. This time it was more small group training which was perfect for me. I’m not particularly confident in gyms so the fact that I was made so welcome and part of a great group of people meant I learnt to love exercise. I am now more confident with weights and getting stronger all the time which has helped my shoulder problem. I have met some amazing inspirational people who Georgina encourages to support each other who i now can call my friends. Georgina never made me feel that I couldn’t do any exercise she builds your confidence so you believe in yourself.

I started training with Georgina about 4 years ago, started with joining in her classes at the gym she worked and then progressed into Personal Training sessions with her twice a week. Best decision I’ve ever made.
Her knowledge of training is brilliant and no matter what my goal was, we worked towards it.
She advised and showed me how to work out my nutrition for myself (rather than hand out a generic macro split meal plan) With her always on hand to help with any queries.
When she moved gyms I didn’t hesitate to move with her, and there she has created an amazing group of like minded women and men who want to better themselves and learn from her.

Georgina supported me through recovery after back surgery to repair two discs. She ensured that I took things slowly and worked to strengthen my core. Having a personal trainer who is also qualified in pilates isn't common so I'm glad I got to do online pilates at home as part of my monthly payment. I've had both PT with Georgina and taken part in group training sessions and love being part of the online community. The group of women Georgina has brought together are really supportive, motivating and there's always a lot of great ideas and recipes shared in the Facebook page to keep you going!

I met Georgina about 7 years ago by doing some of her classes at a gym she worked at then. I knew that she was full of energy and enthuasiasm which would be the motivation I need when gyms were closed in 2020. Georgina is brilliant. Her classes work you hard but her personality carries you through and keeps you smiling. What stands out the most for me for Georgina compared to other personal trainers is how empowering she is. I have been a student in Georgina's pilates classes over the past year and a half and joined her GPT private group on Facebook at the beginning of lockdown. Every day she posts live workout videos (upper/lower body, cardio, and pilates) and I have found her classes to be effective (SO SORE the next day many times) and a big energy boost. I've trained with Georgina for over two years now having completed the arsekick programme and then her transformation programmes.
Georgina educated me with regards to nutrition helping me to adjust my calories according to what I wanted to achieve from my training. The beauty of this is that I am able to eat what I want as long as I hit my macros and calories. Being dictated to in terms of meals and diet would not suit my lifestyle and Georgina has given me this flexibility.
Georgina has multiple qualifications and a huge wealth of knowledge when it comes to training. She has helped me to achieve all of my goals that I've set along the way and not only changed the way I train from a cardio and strengthening point of view, but also given me to tools to keep my technique good and safe, reducing my risk of injury. Over the last few months I have also had PT sessions which have been invaluable.
The online training includes a private Facebook group, 6 live sessions a week including upper body, lower body, cardio and pilates. Georginas approach is holistic and she provides a huge amount of support to all of her clients to ensure that they achieve all of their goals. I would thoroughly recommend her as a PT!

I joined GPT when lockdown began as my local fitness activities were all cancelled. The multiple facebook live sessions have been a lifesaver physically and mentally. They are a good variety of sessions and can be caught up on at any time to suit you. My fitness has improved greatly and my weight loss has continued at a healthy level throughout. I started with Georgina because I was really fed up with not progressing with my strength training, I wanted to do a full press up and improve my overall body strength. Georgina showed me the importance of eating well to fuel your body to grow muscle. Being in a calorie surplus made me panic a lot to start with but with encouragement I realised that I wasn’t getting ‘fat’ I was getting stronger and my body shape was changing to show it. I have photos of myself at my leanest when I was 1 stone lighter than I am today and I look skinny, I can remember my mindset at the time was that I still had fat to lose, I wasn’t lean enough – (for who is a thought I have now!). I compare them to the photos now and yes I am definitely more muscly and I do have body fat but I am more accepting of my body for the shape it is, I am not depriving myself of anything, I am eating to fuel my workouts. I am wary to go back to a deficit now because 1. If done incorrectly can affect training, 2, chasing something all the time is an emotional drain, 3, what difference will it make to who I am and what I can do anyway? Georgina has helped me achieve a functional training regime which is challenging, she has also helped me to challenge myself in terms of recognising that ‘body image’ and how you feel about how you look is so much more than measurements and weights on scales.

I’m a professional boxer and have made weight all of my life, like most of us, we put on weight during lockdown which I was finding really really difficult to get off.. I began using Georgina's services around 5 years ago and it turned out to be one of the most positive decisions I have ever made.
I started my fitness journey off on my own with no personal guidance, just using youtube and free literature available on the internet, which was a great foundation as education is the key, I wanted to push things forward so joined a group training program and Crossfit, but again once I started to stand still I wanted a more personal service to reach my own goals and Georgina came highly recommended by a customer of mine.
I had very small goals at first which Georgina was very attentive at helping me achieve through her personal training service, unlike many other trainers Georgina was very keen on educating me and always encouraged me to help myself, which meant going forward I could feel confident about training on my own.
During more recent times I have always enjoyed the group training sessions that she runs, from Georginas encouragement to understand what I'm doing instead of relying on her fully she has past on the power and control to me, which helps me engage and understand every movement I am doing and why I am doing them, its utterly refreshing to find someone who wants to empower her clients, not only through body image but also education, I always know what weight I should be training with and the amount of macros I should be consumers for my own goals.
I would like to give her 10 stars instead of 5. Great trainer, with a great on line community and outstanding opportunities to socialise with likeminded people, some of the nicest people I have ever met have been on her programs.

I have been supported by Georgina for a number of years when I've attended her classes at various gyms, had a personalised training plan, and more recently taken part in her online/gym based programme. She delivers sessions which focus on strength, conditioning and cardio. Her vibrant personality makes even the toughest training sessions fun...even when you're struggling. She provides online and face to face advice and guidance about training and nutrition and promotes life balance. Enjoying meals and knowing how to train/eat without becoming obsessive about what you can or cannot eat.
