Rory is a phenomenal PT. He really takes the time to get to know you as an individual and orientate sessions around your goals and needs. His understanding of anatomy and nutrition is only matched by his enthusiasm for seeing you succeed. He has made all of my small gains feel like huge achievements and I have massively enjoyed getting to work with him. Rory has already helped me to make significant changes to my lifestyle, making me healthier, happier and stronger, in an incredibly sustainable way. Rory such a wicked PT and a really nice guy. I have trained with many different PT’s in the pass but Rory has been one of the best. He has such a caring nature and is always willing to help no matter how busy he is. Rory’s training plan is brilliant and I saw results very quickly. I reached out to Rory after struggling with plateaus in my own fitness and diet. I started with Rory over a year ago and was coached both offline between being outdoors and the gym, as well online with meal plans and goals for training outside of our sessions. Even though I had big goals for myself and didn’t feel so confident starting weight training, Rory was very professional and made me immediately feel at ease. As I became stronger, he was able to adapt my plans and help me record and keep track of my progress which I found really helpful in keeping up good habits. Rory Pickford is an amazing personal trainer. I started training with him sometime back in 2021 and with gradual work, Rory had me picking up weights that I had never imagined. I was saddened when I had to leave Oxford and return back to London as the training had to end there, but when the opportunity hit to come back to Oxford I knew I would go back to Rory and his training again. He has made significant changes to my physique, towards my strength building and even a better mental health. I believe that all teachers in our lives must want to teach you from the heart for us to excel in anything. I would say Rory is nothing less. Excellent and friendly trainer, every session remains fun and still achieving goals!

I started training with Rory towards the end of 2021. I'd just torn my calf pretty badly and had to reassess my fitness routine, having always been a cardio / HIIT person, I knew I wouldn't be able to train in the usual way. I decided now was the time to switch back to predominantly weight training and was looking for someone who a. really knew their stuff, b. could help me adapt to a new routine and c. make weight training less dull (as someone who used to find it very boring)
Rory came recommended through a mutual contact and since meeting with him, I haven't looked back. He was able to create me a programme that didn't interfere with my injury (I couldn't walk for our first few sessions) and that I found engaging and fun to do. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to see results - not only did I feel a lot stronger / leaner after a few weeks, I actually am gaining quite a bit of strength and muscle - which is exactly what I wanted.
Not only is Rory an excellent trainer, who unlike many PTs is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely dedicated to his profession, he is also a wonderful person to be around. He's incredibly kind; knows when to push you as well as when to listen and adapt things when need be.
I really look forward to our sessions, I am far more confident and I'm excited to see what progress we will make in 2022.
