Personal training is a great investment. One to one training focusing on key exercises is a great way to build strength, energy and to correct bad form. The benefits of Jake’s training can be seen after a length of time along with perseverance and dedication. Jake is a great trainer, down to earth and very easy going so the flexibility is always there. When gyms can be busy places, basic training exercises are easily forgotten about but co-ordination, balance, posture, form etc are key and imperative in preventing injuries. Being able to have a rapport with training staff enhances one’s exercise regime and remembering to ‘enjoy’ exercise as opposed to being overly serious, passes the time nicely. Exercise should be fun but it should be catered to each individuals’ needs and tracked properly, which you’ll get with Jake. Hardships come to all of us and when life’s challenges come to you unexpectedly, the gains of personal training will get you through it. To get good results in studying, you have to work at it. To do well in your job, you have to strive and it’s the same ethos with personal training. Thanks Jake 💪

I have been working with Jake for awhile now. Using his programmes, I was able to push myself and improve my performance. When going to his 1-1 coaching, sessions he always takes his time to make sure I use proper technique and show me supplementary exercises, which has really been helping me with my lifts. He explains the mechanics of exercises really well and is always prepared to do additional sport specific research. It is always a great experience to work with Jake. Highly recommend working with him.

Jake is by far the most dedicated and reliable strength and conditioning coach around. During my sessions with him, he always makes sure I feel comfortable and breaks down the excersizes easily when I don't always get them right first time. He is always accommodating to every injury, he checks in consistently, adapts different excersizes, and tailors the coaching around you. Over the past 18 months, I have been able to push myself out of my comfort zone, improve my performance and smash my own personal goals, all with the help of Jake.
Jake is incredibly knowledgeable about what he does, he explains things in a way that I will understand them and continually goes above and beyond for his clients whether that be further sports related research, a free JTSC hoodie, or a safe space to speak about anything and everything.
Jake is genuine, down to earth, and really cares about the wellbeing of his clients, I could not recommend him enough!

I have never met a more passionate strength and conditioning coach than Jake. His enthusiasm and energy really helped me learn more about exercise and different movement. how these can be broken down into different steps. To get the most out of my training. Great experience with long term programming and planning with Jake. Very knowledgeable and communicative in his planning process, knows how to control the pace and intensity of workouts to suit the plan and also can adjust very well to changes in workouts due to fatigue, injury or general alterations. Good at explaining how specific movements and actions relate to an individual sport as well as individual athletic qualities.

Started with Jake when he took over the xfit class at JD, liked his style, commitment, knowledge and his interest in all participants so decided to have some PT sessions with him. He is genuinely interested in ensuring he gives you what you want from his sessions, he has spent his own time researching a couple of issues I have; calves, elbow and given me specific exercises to help, which they have. I’m now on my fourth month of weekly sessions, he’s helped me focus, improved my fitness and strength. Can’t recommend him highly enough.
