Called up and had a guy referred to me as Mick who loved dealing with bed bugs. Had him out on the first visit and could immediately identify where they where coming from. In the three years in which I have been battling bed bugs, Mick is the most knowledgeable man I have encountered on the subject and was recommended as a specialist by another pest control company. It it fair to say I have tried everything suggested on the internet, including using diatomaceous earth, peppermint and blood orange oils, turning heating off (which makes them dormant not dead) decluttering, taping my bed, using interceptors, traps and very expensive heat treatment by a so-called reputable company with British Pest Control Association accreditation, but who were con men hooking in customers with guarantees that end up being conditional and serve as a marketing ploy. Note: companies offering heat treatments are not regulated so the onus is on the customer to check equipment and application processes and there is a lot to ask. Often companies won’t let you be in the building and that means they can use smoke and mirrors to pretend they have treated your home in a short space of time which merely causes the bugs to disperse to new hiding areas plus none of these companies are obliged to publish success rates. Mick made an especially long journey to see me (for which I am VERY grateful) and was refreshingly honest and non-judgemental; he has lots of integrity as well as a keen interest in bed bugs. Amidst all the false information online Mick offers an affordable solution and is very transparent about his processes. Mick was the first person in three years to take my double, heavy ottoman bed apart piece by piece, steaming and treating every crack and crevice and crawling around the corners of the room. Since the treatment I feel like I’m moving towards being bed bug free and managed 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep and my skin has a hope of healing from being eaten alive by these bugs, I hope. Truth is, having bed bugs is traumatic and you will never forget the experience, but I promise you, in Mick’s hands you will be well taken care of.

We discovered a rat running around our utility room! Mick came out quickly and did a thorough investigation into where they were coming in. He set poison and on his 2nd visit blocked the hole. Excellent service. Very professional would highly recommend.

We had a really tricky problem to sort out: unwelcome visitors in a ceiling space below a rooftop terrace with no apparent point of entry. Fortunately for us, Mick was able to call the same day and after a thorough survey of the property, and based on his many years of experience, he was able to locate where they were getting into the cavity wall. After dealing with the intruders, he sealed up the point of entry permanently – much to our relief and appreciation for his professional and friendly services.
