they explained and justified everything they did and helped us understand the reason why they took each step.
We recruited them on a personal recommendation and were 100% satisfied.
They were ready to visit multiple times to ensure we were mouse free and offer a one month guarantee that they will return if the rodents did. They used a combination of tracing the animals behaviour patterns, and a variety of different poisons to make sure they selected the right one. The poisons were the extent the poison can be, humane, and they blocked up holes once they dealt with the problem.
I think it's worth noting, is that they're also both extremely funny and engaging people, and made the whole experience a pleasure. It's hard to imagine that dealing with an infestation could be pleasurable, but my wife and I actually looked forward to their visits, and even felt a little bit sad when the mice finally passed away.

His service includes repeat visits until the problem is gone which was so reassuring. He is incredibly thorough and extremely knowledgeable and well educated on all of the various pests he deals with, including their behaviour so that he can work with the problem properly using loads of different techniques. He was super good with the kids who joined in on little safe jobs with him, they miss him now he has eradicated our pests!

He was diligent, intrepid, reassuring and traced the source of the problem (to a neighbours’ house.) After more investigation and a few tests in both houses, Paul installed a one-way gate in the sewer drain which has worked, keeping any rats out and curing the problem for all affected. Paul is a lot more thorough than many companies we’ve heard about and doesn’t just spread poison about but works to eliminate the source of the problem, for good. If you have a rodent or pest problem don’t look any further. His patience and thoroughness, and well as his friendly demeanour and effective results, were much appreciated!
K. A.I found Stop Bugging Me on a local Facebook group and decided to go with the company after seeing it recommended several times, which I thought was surely a good sign. And indeed it was! Paul came to our rescue to rid us of a rat which had somehow got into our house. He managed to remove the rat out of the home swiftly and calmly but also came back several times to check for rat presence in our sewers. Prior to Paul coming we had heard rats under our floorboards on and off over the years and just assumed there wasn’t much we could do. D. H.I'd give Paul ten stars if I could! We heard rodents in the ceiling of our SW12 house extension and first called a regularly recommended pest controller on Streatham Parents Network group on Facebook. The individual - and his 'mate' he sent to our house to look at our drains - charged us an extortionate amount of money (which we didn't know was extortionate at the time until we used Paul) and of course the problem wasn't solved and the guy basically wasn't bothered. Paul was recommended to us by a local electrician and what a difference in approach from the first guy! It wasn't an easy fix as, after multiple visits and checks in the drain and all possible entry points - including checking the neighbours' drains - we ended up having to pull up parts of our decking to discover a hole next to the foundation of our extension. Paul came up with a fix for the hole with steel poles inside a brick which was then reinforced with concrete, he really did create a bespoke belt and braces solution. He also found a small entry point next to a broken pipe in the neighbour's garden and filled that in as well. We have been rodent free for nine months now and it's such a relief not to hear the horrible scratching noises in the ceiling anymore. I cannot recommend Paul highly enough and am also grateful for his follow up messages to ensure the rodent problem has not returned. His rates are more than reasonable, especially considering the number of visits our issue required, and he gave us confidence that he was going to persist until the problem was solved for good.

A. M.We had a pretty serious mice infestation. We were seeing them every night run amok through the living room and around the kitchen and we were catching them in traps daily but it was getting worse. We knew we needed a different approach from the traps and poison that the pest removal companies we use in work for the pubs employed. After a bit of research we were recommended Paul. His methods included using fluorescent powder so we could track the mice movement and contact gel so that the mice would take the poison back to the nest. Over the period of 5 visits we located and proofed over 12 entry points including the front & back wall of the house, under the stairs, in the living room and numerous points under the kitchen units. Which were only closed up once we had two weeks of definite proof that there were no more mice entering the house. The best bit is that this total peace of mind was achieved for a really reasonable set price that was agreed before the job was started, even though there were extra visits just to check that they'd definitely disappeared. On top of that he's a really nice bloke and we all looked forward to his visits. I honestly can't recommend highly enough.

D. R.I am currently dealing with what I thought was a cockroach infestation in my flat and I contacted Paul to get further information. After discussing the situation, Paul quickly figured out that the infestation is starting from another part of the building as opposed to it just being my flat. Rather than taking my money and doing the job, he was honest and upfront that the problem wouldn’t be properly resolved unless the other flats have been inspected. He gave me advice on how to approach my landlord with this situation and other action I can take in regards to how to resolve it which he didn’t have to do.
I have contacted many companies and none have been as honest and genuine as Paul has been. If it wasn’t for him, I would have forked out a lot of money on treatment that would have gone to waste as the infestation isn’t in my flat.
Although this isn’t exactly a service people want to “use again” I will definitely keep this company’s number in my phone and recommend them to whoever asks as I can already tell that a company that can deliver such great service before they’ve even dealt with the issue, will be excellent at their job.

I've dealt with mice before myself but on this occasion, I couldn't find droppings, method of entry, nothing... But the sound. Every night at about 4am. Scratchy, scratchy, scratchy. I was about to lose my mind.
Paul had great reviews on Facebook and came highly recommended.
In that first visit, I'll be honest - I was a little skeptical. I felt that the best way of addressing our problem was to start ripping up floorboards (!) and tearing into the plaster ceiling above our kitchen; but Paul didn't seem particularly interested in those areas of the house. I kept trying to draw him back to the site of the nuisance but, a complete professional, he focused on resolving my problem using his experience and expertise... He gently but firmly lead me to a far more efficient and appropriate solution.
Honestly - If we'd done it my way, I would have had a big repair bill and, possibly, still a mouse problem.
Paul's experience as a builder means he understands not just the pathology or pest behavior but also - and this is really important - how houses are put together. Combined, Paul's very calm, rational approach is exactly what you need when you have been driven to the brink.
Professionally I couldn't recommend him more highly and, personally, he's a lovely chap!

C. M.I can not stress how much Paul from Stop Bugging Me helped me this year. I literally had rats running round my house, had unknowlingly been sharing space with them for a while but it reached peak in late January and I had to move out. Paul responded quickly and we had three less rats on the first visit. It turned out to be a much bigger problem with building work to replace a drain and foundations needed, which is where the rats had made their entrance. Paul stayed with the project for weeks while this went on, providing proofing and cleaning and also when after the building work had removed the entrance, hanging in there when we had one last very determined rat who made a new entrance from underfloor board to the kitchen - this was the Bruce Willis of rats. Paul - and Connor - was exactly what the project needed, all the expertise delivered in a confident manner. I trusted him implicity and this was really important as I found it difficult to be in the house while rats were there - even when just under floorboards. In the end 11 very large rats were removed and most probably more left when the access to food ran out, its not an experience I ever want again but if I were unlucky enough to need rat services again, I know where I would head without a doubt. Paul is the man you need to sort out rats!
