I spoke with Darren about a pest problem over the phone, he was both helpful and reassuring, and got one of his team out to see me within 24 hours. His colleague Dan attended and worked through the potential problems methodically, explained the options to me and implemented the appropriate treatments. He has since returned to complete the service and his efforts appear to be successful. Not only is Dan both knowledgable and enthusiastic, but he is a good laugh and very much put me at ease. Great service at a great price, no hidden costs, don't waste your time elsewhere, these guys know their stuff!

Excellent service; I would thoroughly recommend! Darren was running a little late but phoned to let me know. He was so polite, professional and informative. Spoke to Darren about a woodworm problem picked up on a valuation report. Came out the same day offered a free quote with no obligation. Had the problem sorted in less then 2 working days since when I first spoke to him. Knew I was desperate as this was needed to be sorted for a house sale at no point tried to rip me off or act on this to extort money/pressure on me. Cant recommend Darren or the company enough. Will recommend to anyone i speak too in the future. Even dropped of original paper copies of receipts/guarantees in his own time so I could send on to the solicitors the day the work was done.

We had a hole appear in our garden and I had already had someone else look at and they told me I had rats. Their quote was unbelievably high so I asked around for a more competative quote. ISCA quoted a fraction of the price and so I booked them in to come and deal with the problem. When Darren arrived (early thank you) he took a look and it appears that I did not have a rat problem at all and didn't even lead to a burrow. I don't have a new resident in my garden and the other company would have known this too! Darren offered excellent advice and saved me from spending money unnecessarily. Its always hard work when needing a contractor to do a job in the house, you look for a reliable company, one which doesn't over price, one which is honest and trustworthy etc. We had some woodworm in our loft and I chose Isca based on their excellent reviews online. Well I can report that the reviews are correct! From start to finish, absolutely no complaints. Darren was very friendly, professional, the price quoted was spot on, and the service provided was excellent and done very timely. Also, with the current Covid situation, it was refreshing to see a contractor arrive prepared to enter the house, with appropriate mask and foot protection. Had a rat problem for well over a year (under house and in loft), I imagine the problem had been going on before we moved in. We had the council out, poison, traps, rat gates, cameras, the lot. In the end I contacted ISCA due to their high reviews. Dan arrived a few days later and I explained the situation to him. He seemed confident, I wasn't as I had tried everything previously. 60 minutes later Dan had found the cause and resolved it. It's been over 3 weeks and we haven't seen a rat. Highly recommend!

We live in a 200 year old house and have had an increasingly bad problem with rats under the floorboards and in the attics. When I say bad, I really mean it! We’ve caught 101 since January this year (I’ve kept count). Other pest control people have come and put down poison and that’s all. It’s caught a few and we’ve had an awful smell, and then the whole problem has started again. I researched pest control companies, liked the look of ISCA, rang in the morning, and that afternoon Dan the rat man came to to a preliminary visit. As soon as we told him the numbers we’d caught, he immediately said ‘Drains’ i.e. they were coming into the house through the drains. I won’t go into details, but another visit enabled him to run a camera through the drains to look for problem areas, install a one way rat trap to prevent further entry and lay down poison for any residual rats left in our house. We’ve just had a follow up visit 2 weeks later, have heard hardly any activity from residual rats, and have the promise of immediate future visits if there are any more problems. I cannot fault the level of knowledge, speed of response, technical expertise and friendliness of Dan. I would have given 6 stars if I could. Infinitely better than any other pest control people we’ve had.

After struggling to identify and eliminate the source or our recurring rat problem under our kitchen floor we decided to contact ISCA and get some professional advice. Dan came to visit and after sharing the details with him and have him survey the house and nearby area we quite quickly began to feel confident that we'd made the right decision. Our issue appears to be drain/sewer related and so Dan's worked with us (and a local drainage company) to take the necessary steps and hopefully resolve the problem. Time will of course be the telling factor as to whether the problem has been solved but we're certainly feeling confident that it is, and have been left with the reassurance that should the problem return ISCA will be on hand to provide further assistance. Overall, a very satisfactory service from the company and a friendly and professional Dan.

One of out tenants rang me at 9pm to report they had what looked like fleas in their flat (previous tenants had dogs) I found Isca on the web and sent them an email, at 9.15pm I had a reply and after a quick phone call and chat with Darren he said they could get someone out to take a look the next morning. Superb service. I had rats and thought i could deal with it myself with traps and bait but i was wrong. These guys really know their stuff, found the entry and exit points in below ground drains and holes, then baited and the whole thing was sorted in a few days. if i hadnt called them in i would still be faffing around with ineffective traps from the high street and rats would still be entering my home through the drains etc. Dont mess around, just call these guys in and they will solve the problem quickly and effectively. Sometimes you just know straight away when someone you've hired from a trade is on their game, and this was one of those times. Darren was straight on to where the rat had got in, knew what to do immediately, and very clear upfront on pricing (just to note this is one of those services that doesn't make sense to break down to an hourly rate which may make it seem steep - isca are very competitive and in my view very reasonable if not cheap once you take into account they prob have significant overheads). And to top it all he's a very nice chap too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone with similar small furry visitors to their home.

We called Isca to eradicate what we thought was a wasps' nest in a large wooden stump in our garden which was surrounded by what looked like sawdust. We thought it was a threat as our neighbours have young children. One of Isca's guys turned up at the agreed time the following day but on initial inspection he said he was sure that it wasn't a wasps' nest but a colony of some black flies the wasps were hunting. After checking the stump thoroughly and finding a wasp carrying one of the flies he confirmed that his first idea was right and then said he wouldn't do any work or use any chemicals that weren't necessary, asked if we were happy and took his leave. There had been no indication of a call-out fee and none was requested. After he left we just looked at each other. What fantastic professional service. A really great local firm - they're still out there!
