Matt and his apprentice were at my house within 30 minutes of me phoning them! Outstanding response time! Very knowledgeable, and quickly assessed the problem areas. A couple of weeks ago I had a mouse problem in my garage. I could smell the mice, but not find them. I had already used “off the shelf” products from Screwfix. The mice had largely ignored my traps and poison. So I contacted Matt of FoD pest control via their Facebook page. Even during Corona, they were here the next day. An appointment time was arranged, but told I was the last call, so it could vary. About an hour before my appointment time I was advised that the previous appointment (a snake!) was over running a bit and new ETA was given and stuck to. When FoD pest control pulled up by my house I was contacted to say they were here, and to open up my gate so he could come in. The whole time he had PPE on and stayed around 3 meters away. He found where was the best place for his better traps, set them and arranged a follow up visit to remove the dead ones. Professional, prompt, and has a sense of humour. Best thing, unlike my earlier attempt FoD were successful in fixing this mouse issue.

My daughter has Covid. We live next door to our showroom. Fortunately we've all had a weeks holiday so the showroom has been empty - but just to be on the safe side I wanted the showroom to be thoroughly disinfected and fogged for the staff when they came back from their week off, so they can keep working whilst I isolate and work from home. Matt came out on Sunday afternoon to perform this service and has given my staff a huge amount of confidence to be at work. I expected the charge to be huge given it was Covid related and a Sunday - but it wasn't. It was super reasonable and I would recommend him for sure. Thankyou Matt.

Excellent service from this family run company. Last year Matt responded with speed to my call about a hornet's nest and eradicated them within 24 hours. His concern over the fact that there would be children around and that the problem needed to be sorted swiftly was impressive. Today he has given me very helpful advice on what turned out to be a bumble bee's nesting area and did not charge for the call out. Fantastic, friendly, ethical and professional service, advice and support. We had a bee's nest in the attic and at both our earliest opportunity, Matt was out and assessing the situation. It turned out to be a situation that was self managed, and Matt gave advice and guidance for future prevention of issues - Lavender and Tea tree oils to prevent return. Due to this, Matt didn't charge us, but I certainly know who to call when anything like this happens in the future and who we will recommend to a friend! Thanks Matt - great service!

Had to contact Matt about a wasps nest in a chimney at an aunties property. He was here within the hour, the problem were bees which Matt explained he could not touch as bees are protected, have to wait for 5 or 6 weeks for them to leave. What a lovely, lovely man. We called Forest of Dean Pest Co trol after being let down by a so say locally based pest control company who turned out to be a Southend on Sea company who take orders from customers all over the country pretending to be local then find a sub contractor locally to do the work. In our case they were unable to then find a same day contractor as promised and hence let us down. Going instead to Forest of Dean Pest Control was a lucky replacement for us. They came within an hour, were well equiped with professional equipment, very efficient, and they treated two wasp nests in our dormer windows very efficiently and at a much reduced price by far than any of the other firms we had been to at the onset for quotes.
