I cannot understand some of the reviews with negative comments about the chemist himself. One review refers to "off-licence next door". There is no off-licence anywhere near this shop. I can only assume that the reviewer was thinking of another chemist.
My personal experience with the chemist has been that he is knowledgeable, helpful, gentle and kind. He always makes time, despite his busy schedule.
The people I have dealt with most have been the counter staff. Who I find to be professional, calm, reassuring and kind.
Everyone can have a bad day and perhaps the negative reviews are a reflection of those reviewers.
I have always believed that courtesy is rewarded with courtesy and that is definitely true with DH Roberts chemist.

The people have changed a few times, but they are very helpful when dealing with my medical needs quick when ordering my meds and the Ladies on the front line are always helpful kind and understanding especially at this difficult time, they turn up every day to deal with us all, who at most times can be quite rude to these ladies who are here to help us.
With the extra benefits that their staff speak 3 different languages which I find most helpful, not many other Chemist offer this.
I know one of the ladies who has worked there for over 30 years and with the other members of the team at DH Roberts I think they are a great benefit to Tufnell Park I can't understand why there are so many bad things written about these guy's.
Will always recommend this Chemist 5 stars all the way.
D. T.I've used this chemist for years and they've always been fantastic - know many local people and are familiar with their needs and conditions. The price gouging is not their fault - the wholesalers are charging them exorbitant prices so they have no choice. I bought a tiny bottle of hand sanitiser recently for £10! and the pharmacist apologised for the price. This business is vital to the local community - please continue to support it

Re the hand sanitiser issue - it's likely their supplier is charging them an extraordinary price for this. They can either sell the sanitiser at what is likely break-even money, or not sell it at all (they shouldn't be forced to sell it at a loss) so this isn't their fault. Knowing DH Roberts and how friendly they are I really doubt they're price gouging especially as this is illegal.
