Dear Gateway Chemist, Do your staff know how to aspire the injection? I would like to book an appointment for COVID-19 vaccine but I'm not sure that your staff are trained to aspirate. Last year the nurse injected me into the blood stream instead of the muscle. I had an abscess and I had the surgery because of this. My GP recommended to ask the nurse to aspire before injection to make sure that you got into the muscle. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you! Best regards, Ilona

I got my booster at Gateway Chemist vaccination centre today. It was an excellent experience. The pharmacist Dilip is very professional and patient. Very grateful he shares lots of helpful information with me. All the volunteers are also amazing. Thank you !

I had an excellent experience with Gateway Covid Centre. My frail elderly friend was due for a booster injection. I was able to arrange a good time to come in and we were seated in the warmth of the pharmacy whilst we waited. Jack administered the injection to my friend, and after 15 minutes we were able to leave. Whilst waiting I could see that the care and attention we were shown was not unique to us, thank you Jack, Dunia and your wonderful team!

I went at 3pm (according to Google maps) a typically busy time at the pharmacy for my booster. I got my dates mixed up and arrived a day early but the staff were really helpful and I still got vaccinated within minutes of waiting. I expect walk-ins might also be a fairly quick wait too.

UPDATE: I had have my booster here and the vaccination center is very well organized, clean and the staff is very friendly. wanted to update my review. I didn’t know I have to inform the pharmacy if I want a delivery every time they receive my prescriptions so it hasn’t been delivered this Wednesday. They kindly told me and even wanted to deliver just for me on a Thursday, but my friend could pick my meds up and I do know how overwhelmed are hospitals and pharmacies during covid. I do really appreciate the care tho, thank you so much 😊 They also kindly informed me that even with several serious conditions (waiting for surgery as I have a asthma+severe OA+ spondylosis and endometriosis)I cannot have my covid jab in the pharmacy. I just wanted to make sure I book the right place. The gentlemen sounded overwhelmed and under pressure (probably having many calls like this) but still explained to me in a kindly manner.

I have just been served by the owner, Jack, and cannot rate his, and his team's, professionalism highly enough. Had a tricky situation with a 3rd Covid vaccine requirement and I know they spent a considerable amount of time yesterday trying to sort. And sort it they did! Highly recommend this place.

What a fantastic pharmacy.I am a local GP and visited the pharmacy yesterday 17/3/20 .They are working non stop, helping people but still are kind, attentive and friendly.They are a rock of the local community. Where would be be without them.Jack Hikmet, the chief pharmacist has served the local community for over 30 years and is a real gem. We are so lucky to have this pharmacist serving our community

Really great Chemist staff are really helpful and friendly. I pick up my flatmates meds there regularly and they're always great. Today after my normal pharmacy let me down the resqued me. Its well stocked. Recently referensed so looks very daper. And the bibs snd bobs they sell are also good. Might well have to switch.

This is one of the best chemists. Knowledgable and extremely helpful in all situations our family has trusted them and would not have managed without them. Supermarkets and warehouses can not tell you how drugs might interact and Doctors are necessarily as knowledgable amazingly. Jack and the staff look after you unlike any Doctor.
