Wonderful & very easy service. Have booked up a number of times now for the Antigen Fit to Fly test. Found the whole process from booking you’re appointment online, up to the procedure itself very easy & user friendly. Staff are extremely helpful in guiding you through the process. The only place I use now for any Covid related tests.

Quick, professional and friendly service. This is our go to pharmacy in our family as we always get really well looked after. They've supported us through pregnancy, childbirth and brining up children. They provide covid testing services as well as flu vaccines etc. It's also lovely to always be greeted with friendly and familiar faces. There's no reason at all to see another pharmacy and I couldn't recommend them enough!

They had planned to put on the next home delivery, however when Mums neighbour attended to collect their medication, the dots were joined up and the neighbour was asked to drop off. The previous owners had lost my business for a whole load of reasons, but when I found myself in need and without any other choice, I decided to go back for one-time only. However seeing that the ownership had changed was absolutely refreshing to say the least. Friendly but quite expensive due to this being an independent pharmacy. A 250ml bottle of Hibiscrub was £8.50 compared to £6.49 in Boots. Wallgreens can obviously buy for Boots in bulk. Good for emergencies if the big pharmacies are closed or too far away.

I used Globe Chemist because I was travelling back to the UK and needed a Covid-19 PCR test to meet with UK law. Having read some horror stories online from people who had booked PCR tests elsewhere for a certain time only to find themselves in a queue, and having to queue in a busy environment with people who were potentially infected and not masked, I was looking for a smaller business that might put professionalism and service first. That was exactly what I got. My PCR test took place PRECISELY at the booked time; I had the results next day. The staff were following law and best practice with regard to distancing and PPE and I felt safe when carrying out the test. While the online booking system was a little confusing for me at what was a busy time (my brain was slightly scrambled by all the information I'd been dealing with generally) and initially no one answered the phone when I called, I sent a quick email and the chemist rang me back more than once to discuss and clarify the details. It is worth mentioning that the reason for the confusion was largely that I was replying to UK government questions which were badly written, rather than due to any fault on the part of Globe Chemist. I am not deducting a star for the fact that when I called on one occasion, no one replied to the phone call - at least no one put me on hold - as the level of service subsequently received means not answering the phone on one morning is neither here nor there. This was very slightly more expensive a place to take a PCR test than other test centres, but I feel the small extra cost was more than reflected in the quality of service received. The effeciency and civility of the process ultimately freed me up to get on with my life that much quicker... which probably saved me money in the long run.
