This is the best chemist in Newcastle if not in the whole of the north east, the most friendly and helpfull staff, as for Steven Smith he goes beyond the call of duty to help somebody, my pregnant daughter in law needed urgent medication wich was forgotten by the doctors to send to the chemist portal. This intravenenous medication was so important as it was an IVF pregnancy the medication had to be given within the next 12 hrs, and it was Mr. Steven Smith who made sure that we had the medication, Mr. Smith I will never forget this!

I took my daughter's prescription and was told to come in a hour later as the chemist was on lunch break. I came back to collect the medication and had to wait a while whilst the prescription was being checked and verified. The was only two items on the prescription and now been told to come back tomorrow to collect the other. Wasting my time and unorganised system in place hence the lack of knowledge and information given to the customers. 3 stars as I have used this chemist over 30 years now but are going downhill.

I had an nhs check up today,which was free .donna the lady who did the check up was fantastic, she made me aware of what she was doing and explained everything.As a result a found out I have high cholesterol. Would recommend this to all .10/10

Hi yes a good transition from Lloyds west road to my new whitworths chemist elswick road recently out of hospital after my 2nd successful hip operation may2019. I was given a new flozin tablet added to all my medication new medicine service at the branch and steve rang me and had a really nice chat with him about side effects etc. Even when i called into the branch to collect my script the staff were so helpful with me and i really appreciated this so professional was the order of the day. Keep up all the good work and well done elswick branch. Many thanks all ..
