Good service. We had to phone for directions and when we arrived they expected us. Just axshame it was the only pharmacy open nearest to Shrewsbury . A round-trip of 68 miles.

As far as the pharmacy collecting my husbands prescription, then that experience was really good. The lady on the counter spoke fairly quiet so i couldnt hear a word she was saying with music playing quite loudly in the background and the face mask as a barrier, but nothing major. I have worked in community pharmacy myself so i know all of the processes and I wasnt too impressed with the lack of help from the male member of staff who answered the phone. I changed the nomination of my husbands pharmacy after the GP had sent his prescription to the old pharmacy so i knew that his prescription would be sat on the NHS spine after i asked for it to be returned. I had already rang asked if he could be nominated a few days before this , gave all of the relevant details needed so i knew the new notminated pharmacy would be Donnington. I gave it a couple of days and when i rang back to check if it was there (gave it benefit of the doubt as i knew it wouldnt be recieved EPS automatically) , he said no and basically that was as far as the conversation was going. After i said i know the GP has authorised a script so can you not track it? This seemed abit too much effort for him. I heard him grumble to another member of staff in the background "uh shes asking me to track it" Eventually we got there. They had the prescription. And then even more unprofessionally, he must of thought that he put the phone down, but he didnt. So i then continue to hear him talking about me to the other staff member saying "thats annoying... she must know what shes on about because she asked me to track the prescription" Also offer abit more of a service and help further other than "no the prescription isnt here" And if you're going to talk about your customers. MAKE SURE THE PHONE IS PUT DOWN FIRST!

Helpful staff and I managed to pick up presectiption straight away after visiting the Donnington Medical Practice. Probably could do with a few more seats inside, apart from that it is good. There is generally a small queue whenever I'm here so be prepared to wait a few minutes.

Staff are friendly and polite But I'm an MS patient and have trouble with blisters packs And struggle to open on my own After many complaints and asking for pots of tables they are Still being delivered in boxes I appreciate they are busy But surely I should be able to get pots of medication 💊 !!!

Absolutely brilliant service this morning after feeling let down by my doctors surgery. Very helpful staff, fabulous pharmacist who spent time discussing my issue and who was able to prescribe a short course of antibiotics (badly needed as I was going away this afternoon). Excellent pharmacy!

Can get very busy at times however the staff work well under pressure. Staff are usually very friendly, unless their particularly busy which is understandable. The queue system can get a bit confusing when busy as there’s people stood around waiting for their prescriptions and you’re never too sure if they’re in the queue or not. Gets a bit tiring asking everyone if their in the queue or not. Much better than the local supermarket pharmacy by miles.

As pharmacy's go this is one of the better ones in Telford. I went in with a problem in my mouth, described my symptoms to a pharmacist who recommended some over the counter stuff, worked a treat, friendly staff.

Today was a very stressful morning for me, myself and my son very poorly, one lady In particular was very kind, took her time and very understanding. This new world is not built for toddlers so for anyone to take their time and smile with an understanding really makes life so much easier for us all.

I'm on holiday and my long acting insulin pen broke. Went into pharmacy and the gentleman was really helpful. Half an hour later I had my insulin. Shrop doc phone service was brilliant as well. Big thanks to all involved.

Nigel, the proprietor of the pharmacy is very much a people person and is always keen to help others. He has assembled a great team at Donnington Pharmacy and he deserves every success. Other people ‘say’ but Nigel ‘does’. Great free prescription delivery service available for those who need it. An asset to the community!
