Brendan is amazing! Planning an international wedding was tough, there were a lot of emails and some zoom meetings but he made everything so simple and easy. His energy is unbeatable and everyone loved him. When the rain forced the whole day inside he found the best rooms for pictures. Whether it was lounging on couches or standing in windows, his eye for the perfect picture is spot on. Our pictures were exactly what we were looking for, I love his documentary style photography as well as the posed shots. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer.

I've worked with Brendan for a few years now within PR & events, and was thrilled to be able to have him do my wedding photography too! Brendan has an incredible ability to capture the atmosphere of the entire day in each shot, and we were over the moon when we received the final images. What struck us about our wedding photos was how Brendan picked up on the small details that made our day so special: the quiet moments, the hand squeezes, the quick glances. It wasn't posed - just those split second moments that accumulated into a day that was uniquely ours, and we’re so thankful that we were able to capture them so that we can reminisce for years to come. From the second that we met Brendan at a wedding fair, we knew that we wanted to hire him as our wedding photographer. My husband has never been very keen on having his photograph taken, and so was a bit uncertain when we started looking for a photographer. However, Brendan's charm, professionalism, straightforward nature, and seemingly endless bounds of enthusiasm and energy quickly caught our attention. Brendan was fantastic throughout our entire wedding process. He quickly and clearly answered questions in our initial enquiry, kept in touch throughout the year in the run-up to the wedding, and on the day went above and beyond with his wife Debs, helping to ensure that everything kept to time and flowed smoothly, whilst taking gorgeous shots of the day. Brendan is incredibly easy going and has a wonderful way of putting everyone at ease to get the best and most natural photos out of the situation - our guests continue to tell us how wonderful he was even now, several months later! Nothing felt overly staged or "not us", and Brendan has a great creative eye for picking out opportunities for photos that you wouldn't otherwise think of. He also proved very good at thinking on his feet to help us get some night time shots in the greenhouse at our venue, even when the power decided to cut out! We've so pleased with the quality of our wedding photographs and the moments that Brendan managed to capture throughout the day, and with the level of service that we received. We couldn't recommend Brendan more highly!

Brendan photographed our wedding in December 2020 (sorry for the slow review!!) and honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone else for the job. Absolutely amazing in every way! My wife and I recently asked Brendan to look after our wedding photography. We were very impressed by his professionalism and personality, which kept the photography light hearted and the smiles on our faces (particularly when we both don’t like getting our photo’s taken). We were particularly impressed with Brendan’s creativity and encouragement when he got us to take ten minutes outside during our evening reception to capture a stunning photo of us both, one which we will cherish forever. Just to add that Brendan wasn’t even on duty at this point as we only asked him to take photo’s up to the speeches, which had long since passed. We were very impressed with the efficiency and turnaround time of the photo’s as we weren’t long back from honeymoon until we were enjoying the three hundred odd photos of our special day. Brendan perfectly captured our wedding day and exceeded all our expectations on the day. We would strongly recommend Brendan to any couple looking for the perfect wedding photographer.

If you want to have your photographs taken professionally, efficiently and with an artistic and creative flair then book Brendan Gallagher as your photographer! Brendan strives to engage with each of his clients and capture the beauty and individuality of each of their personalities through his photography. I was one of his boudoir models and suffered from low self-esteem and low confidence before expressing my interest in being one of his models to use. Before meeting Brendan to shoot, I was slightly nervous but Brendan with his great humour, approachable attitude and fantastic direction give me the confidence to perform my best and he really did capture my inner beauty - something I thought had been destroyed through years of bullying. Brendan was incredible to work with and at the end of the shoot I had not just worked with an amazing photographer but had made a friend as well! Brendan was very quick and dedicated to do some re-touching of the photos and finishing them up to give them that creative edge. When I saw the results I showed my parents, who couldn't believe that someone was able to capture the innocence and fun that they had once seen in their daughter (me) as a child but hadn't seen in years. He very kindly agreed to come all the way to the Amalfi coast, Italy to shoot our wedding and he just went above and beyond our expectations from the word go.
