An experience like no other - professional and precise. I chose Graham for my graduation photos due to the stunning portfolio online and a glowing recommendation from a family friend. From the initial easy booking, reminder email and text, to being greeted at the front door, it was fantastic treatment. I brought my two dogs with me, Graham was patient, had great technique positioning them and plenty of treats to get the perfect picture. I selected the VIP package which allowed me my graduation portrait, a graduation picture with my dogs and then my headshot which I now use for my LinkedIn profile picture. My gown, lighting and all the smaller details were taken care of, repositioned and perfected until Graham had the perfect shots. His conversation whilst paying attention to detail was impeccable. I will be recommending Graham to anyone in need of portraits, photos or headshots - couldn't have asked for a better experience. Graham went above and beyond our expectations when he photographed my, my fiancé's and my brothers graduation photos. He came in on his own time especially to facilitate us. He took his time with everyone to make sure everyone was happy with the pictures. We booked a photo shoot with Graham for my son's graduation and we were delighted with the whole experience. First off, booking through the website is very smooth. You can pick your date and time and a few other options. We also got a reminder email a few days in advance with some useful info. Graham provides the faculty-specific robes for Queen's (and other Unis) so that was a big bonus as it saved us having to organise it. We felt at ease immediately upon arrival. We were on a tight schedule but they were able to get everything done very efficiently. The studio is very well equipped and a preview of each photo is immediately displayed on a large screen, which makes selection very easy. The photos were ready for collection on the same day. Overall we found Graham and his colleagues to be friendly and professional and are very happy with the photos.

From booking the session and any dealings with the company leading up to our photo session was an easy and efficient process. Wow! What an experience! From the moment we walked into the studio it was as if we were at home. It was a comfortable atmosphere and Graham himself was lovely and (almost) funny (sorry haha). He made me feel at ease despite bringing a one year old nosey Frenchie, an 11 year old grumpy Japanese Spitz and an ADHD child who really didn't want to help me with the dogs 🤦🏻‍♀️ however Graham took it all in his stride and managed to get loads of amazing shots, even though I was sure I was either partly in them or one dog had jumped off the props or ran off altogether. I wasn't expecting half as many photos as I got, the slideshow was amazing and I chose my 24" 9-picture storyboard frame and all digital images. I went to the slideshow myself, no doggies allowed and children not ideal if you have one like mine 🤣 now I have to wait on my frame coming and get it up on the wall. Oh and my two babies are in The Barn 2022 Calendar - woohoo!!! Thank you so much Graham, so pleased we finally made it ❤️

Graham was amazing and so friendly when we met him the day before our wedding to get an idea of the day and what would happen. We got some photos of our dogs taken as a Christmas present and Graham was fantastic throughout. One of our dogs was quite scared but Graham seemed to know exactly how to distract him to get the photos we needed. He was also very patient when were going round in circles over which picture to get framed. A few months later our computer crashed and we lost the digital copies of the photos that we had purchased however we contacted Graham and he was able to shared the photos with us again in a matter of hours. All in all I would highly recommend Graham for both his high quality pictures and excellent customer service.

Highly recommend Graham Crichton Photography. The studio is beautiful, clean and so well decorated there is even a water bowl at the ready to make sure your pet is comfortable at all times. Our dog instantly took to Graham, who got down to his level and made sure to properly introduce himself! When it came down to photos our dog was very relaxed and we were able to make good use of all the props at disposal to ensure on the cutest pictures! I am so impressed with how the photos came out and can easily see why Graham has the reputation he does as they are something I am going to treasure for a lifetime. Recently got a family phot shoot done by Graham for my mums 60th. It was such a special thing for us aas a family as my brother, sister in law and kids were living in Australia and had no intention on coming home until a this time last year when they came home for a month and they made a life changing decision to move home 🏡 So to be able to give my mum a gift of a family photoshoot for her birthday was just brilliant. I have a 4 year old niece and a 3 year old nephew, which would be a challenge for any photographer but Graham was amazing. Having a pet photo shoot with Graham was great fun with the most amazing results. We brought our two dogs, one of whom is a very high energy pup, and spent about two hours in Graham’s studio. We dressed them in various bandanas, fed them treats, got them to pose separately and together. It was exhausting! I would recommend if you are bringing more than one pet to have at least two people to attempt to keep them in position and offer treats! Graham’s approach is very relaxed throughout the whole process from initial contact to picking up the framed portraits. How he captured the dog’s personalities and got such amazing photos is just incredible and we will enjoy the portraits for years to come with pleasure. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Graham for pet or family portraits as he definitely brings out the best!

Due to a cancelled 2020 graduation I was absolutely delighted when I found that Graham was offering a graduation photo shoot including the correct grad gown for my QUB course. The experience was brilliant. Graham’s welcoming personality calmed me down (I was a bit nervous) as soon as I walked through the door. The studio itself was clean, quirky and had photos of dogs all around the room... which also had its perks :) I went to Graham during the covid 19 pandemic but never felt anything but safe with hand sanitiser at the door and Graham always wearing a face mask (also with dogs on it which was great). All in all we got some great photos to have and to keep forever as a momentum of a wonderful occasion in this strange time. I would recommend Graham to anyone, especially Belfast 2020 Grads as he has the majority of QUB and University of ulster course gowns. Thank you Graham for the wonderful photos. My dog Basil and I visited Graham's studio yesterday to have a photo shoot for a charity calendar that is being created to raise funds for the Barn Animal Rescue in Ards. First of all, we had a warm and friendly welcome from Graham himself, and via a lovely personalised message on a screen in the waiting area. Graham gave Basil plenty of time to get acquainted with the surroundings and offered him lots of encouragement as well as some treats to put him at ease. Basil is an ex Barn resident and having had a rather difficult start in life before his rescue, can be quite an anxious lad at times. As such, he was a challenging customer, but Graham remained calm, patient, professional and understanding throughout the entire session. He even managed to get some great photos of a dog who was not willing to stay still for a second! I would thoroughly recommend Graham Crichton Photography and I know that other Barn volunteers have been equally impressed. Thanks so much Graham and thank you for helping out the Barn. I was looking for a few graduation photographs and a professional headshot to be taken since Covid had meant that I was unable to physically attend commencement. When I arrived at the studio we were greeted with fantastic service by Graham, Hannah, Alex and of course Glyn the dog. During the session I did not realise that I had become a bit rigid in front of the camera and Graham was great at getting me to relax leading to some fantastic natural shots. I don't think we can say how amazing Graham and Hannah are in this review! Choosing a wedding photographer was tough, especially as we are from England so couldn't go off friends recommendations... but we are so glad we found Graham! We're not one to pose for photos and had never had professional photos taken but meeting for an engagement shoot was a great way to meet Graham and he put us at ease! Graham is a great communicator and we chatted in the run up to the wedding. Come the wedding day, it felt like a pleasure to have Graham and Hannah at the wedding! Our guests loved them, Graham is fun and enthusiastic, but also discrete! Graham happily took on the challenge of doing a photo collage of all of our guests and the result is incredible (if you're getting married check it out!) Graham was amazing on our special day and we have completely fallen in love with our wedding album. On the run up to the wedding, there were times when I thought Graham was more excited about my wedding than me. He has an enthusiastic approach to photography and his style is incredible. I love the candid shots he captured, plus the group photos where casual and quick. The one drawback, and this is partly our mistake, is that we did not run through a list of needed pictures, such as picture of this group, this couple, only bride with auntie, etc. However, even without that small detail, Graham was able to capture everyone at our wedding. Hannah was a great help on the day and it was a comfort how calm they were. All our guests and everyone who participated in the wedding enjoyed Graham and Hannah's company and he even put our officiant at ease on the morning! I recently had a photo shoot for my German Shepherd, Gypsy, with Graham up in his studio in Belfast. Had never done anything like it before and was a wee bit unsure of how it would work and how Gypsy would react - she can be a bit shy sometimes! Graham put us both at ease right from the start and it was a fantastic experience. Friendly and fun, Gypsy performed for the camera like she'd been doing it all her life - we both thoroughly enjoyed it! As for the photos? Stunning - Graham has captured Gypsy beautifully and her personality shines out of each and every photo. I wasn't sure if I could afford to splash out on such a luxury, but with Gypsy getting that bit older now (she is 8 years young) I am so very glad that I did. He was full of great ideas for shots and always up for a challenge...including taking all of his equipment in a little boat to get some shots on the Lough (I think that was a first!). I have recently needed very special face pictures. When I called the studio and explained what I wanted Graham was the most helpful and calm person who I could hear a few days before Christmas. We recently had a family photoshoot with Graham & cannot praise him high enough. This was our first foray into a professional studio shoot – didn’t know what to fully expect, but Graham was very friendly, warm, witty and chatty – he immediately made us all feel welcome & very comfortable … and he worked brilliantly with our 3yr old son to make it a fun, novel experience for him. He was very generous with his time and was able to coach him into some truly beautiful poses during our shoot. We went to view the photos a few days later on a big projection screen in his lovely, quirky studio in the Portview Trade Centre on the Newtownards Rd – from the personal message on the screen greeting us upon arrival to the viewing of all our photos in the studio was an amazing experience. Some of the pictures he was able to get of our family portraits through to beautiful, natural photos of our son (not to mention the amazing black and white head shots of him) left me almost breathless in their beauty and artistry. My wife was actually moved to tears with a short video montage he made of our son. I will treasure them for my lifetime. The only reason you are reading this review is because you are considering him for a photo-shoot and want to see what others thought of his work – well, I’m not one for leaving online reviews, but our whole experience with him (and his amazing partner Hannah) was nothing short of magical – so I’m duty bound to add another glowing review to the already expansive list of stellar 5 star reviews. My now wife and I incredibly highly recommend Graham and Hannah for wedding/engagement photography. At our engagement shoot in a forest park, the rain wouldn't let up for about an hour. Rather than causing us hassle by rescheduling, they suggested simply waiting it out in the cafe - in which time the conversation was flowing as both Graham and Hannah are so easy to get along with. The following photo shoot was great, I particularly appreciated Graham's willingness for having fun with the pictures (we climbed a tree at one point - my suggestion, but he was happy to oblige!) Working with Graham and Hannah was an incredible experience from the day we booked until the day we received our photographs. As a couple from the U.S. seeking our wedding to be the adventure of a lifetime at a castle ruin overseas, we needed a photographer completely on board with our vision. I would highly recommend Graham Crichton Photography for anyone looking a pet portrait. We took our Japanese Akita X in for his free photo shoot (he won on Facebook) not knowing what to expect. Thankfully, Graham was very down to earth and easy to talk to. He directed us through the whole session and I hoped we got some good pictures. When we went back to view our photos I was literally crying tears of joy! He captured every one of our dogs' personalities and turned them into beautiful artwork. We went to choose our free photo, decided to buy 2 more and then went home with 6. Thats how amazing these photos were. Don't freak out though as your are definitely not pushed to buy anything, it is completely up to yourself. From my experience being here I would suggest 2 things: 1. Keep Glynn (their dog) close by when you are viewing photos. He is a great emotional support dog 😂 2. Remember to support your local businesses. Although they don't force you to; please buy something.

I will definitely be reviewing even if it takes me a week or two I promise I will. The albums are wonderful, both our parents love it as do me and mark. The details in our big album help bring out things we didn't even notice in the digital versions. Just WOW by the way, all the pictures are amazing and exactly as I thought of them in my head. I know I made the right choice changing the wedding date so I could get you! From our initial chat to the engagement shoot I know both me and mark felt really comfortable around you both which was a huge achievement especially cause mark is so very shy. The engagement photos really got the sentimental feel yet sense of fun I really wanted from them. Honestly the photo of me and mark in the circle will likely be my favourite photo of us EVER so thank to you for shooting but also to Hannah for dealing with the cape lol. So once again just wanted to say you were fantastic and thank you so much I will definitely be recommending you and if I have any need in the future for different occasions I will absolutely be coming back!!! I wish you all the best for any future work and you have my gratitude for making my wedding day, the best day of my life. I guess there’s only so many ways to say thanks but I just want to emphasise how brilliant you were!!

Anna & I would like to thank Graham and Hannah for the wonderful photographs and service they provided for us at our wedding in November! We ordered the basic package with an engagement shoot prior to the big day. I would really recommend the engagement shoot before the wedding to get you comfortable having your pictures taken and so you can chat to Graham about your preferences and get to know each other. Graham made us feel really comfortable and was really committed to our shoot (even wading into the sea in April!!) and we were really pleased with the photos. Grahams service was comprehensive and ensured the photo sessions we had on the day were not intrusive and really added to the flow of the day! Graham and Hannah were really flexible on the day as we had some rain and timetable changes which helped remove some of the stress of the day! Grahams creativity and ideas meant we got some great and original photos we even got to take photos out in a condemned swimming pool! Overall a top service! Thanks!!!
