We got married in January 2020 and we couldn’t have asked for better photographers than Honey and the Moon. We were nervous about getting our photos taken, but Jess made us feel at ease and I love the mix of candid and posed pictures we received. I recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer and we’re still complimented on our photos to this day!

Karolyn and Jess were fantastic from start to finish. I really had no idea what I was doing apart from how much I love their style, so they were patient to help me and support me along. On the day my emotions were everywhere but with the mix of candid shots and posed pictures, our day was amazing! They also grabbed lots of precious shots of our loved ones. We also ended up straying from our plan, adding in some more pictures with loved ones which wasn't a problem to Jess and Karolyn. Looking back to our 2018 wedding, we often say it was the best thing we paid for to go with Honey & the Moon.

Karolyn and Jess were fantastic photographers at our wedding. In the best way possible we didn't even know they were there. I always said I wanted natural photos, just shots of my friends and family having fun and that's exactly what they produced. They captured amazing memories and so much emotion! They were incredibly professional and their photographs of a high quality. They definitely have a unique style which I loved and we received the photos in a beautiful carved box and gave us above and about the amount of photos we had paid for. Would highly recommend them for anyone considering.

Jess and Karolyn were fantastic wedding photographers for us. They put us at ease and, just as we requested, took lots of beautifully candid, natural shots of our day, capturing unforgettable moments without us even realising it. They communicated well before and after the wedding and the photographs were of a very high quality. We particularly loved the presentation box which they sent us some prints and the memory stick of photos in, it's a lovely momento of our day. We would definitely recommend them to any one looking for wedding photographers.

We were overjoyed with the service that Jess and Karolyn provided! Taking the photos with Jess after our ceremony was such a wonderful part of our day that we will always treasure, she was so kind and put us well at ease, and the photographs were just gorgeous. They were beautifully edited and we were able to view, save and buy prints of our favourites from an easily accessible gallery. Jess and Karolyn were very responsive, and very understanding about changing our date due to the pandemic! The contract was very clear and they were able to talk us through any additional administrative duties (such as our needing to contact the parks service to allow the photoshoot) which emphasised their professional knowledge and experience. It was an absolute dream to work with Honey and the Moon, thank you so so much!

We got married in April of 2021, after a few rearrangements due to COVID. Honey and the Moon could not have been more supportive and responsive when it came to changing dates whenever COVID restrictions meant our original date changed. On the day of the wedding, Jess was fantastic! She captured so many lovely moments, but without making them feel staged or awkward. When it came to the post-ceremony photos, Jess made me and my husband feel so at ease. We are both very wary of the camera, so we were thinking that the photos would look like a dodgy formal photo session but that just was not the case! The photos came out beautifully and you can tell that we were at ease in them- something I has written off as being possible! I would happily recommend Honey and the Moon to anyone who wants to capture the special moments of their wedding day.

We booked these guys for our original wedding in 2020, this was postponed a couple of times due to the dreaded Covid 19 and eventually went ahead in September 2021. They were so helpful and supportive during our postponements and were able to do some photos of us on our would be wedding day in June 2020 as well as the actual wedding! We were beyond delighted with both sets of photos, they are even more amazing than we could ever have hoped for and we are so grateful to Jess for capturing such beautiful memories of our special day. We had so much craic on the day and Jess was so good at putting us both at ease. Our finished photos were sent to us perfectly on time within the promised time frame which we were so appreciative of despite what was such a busy wedding season for them!

Absolutely loved our Honey and the Moon wedding photographs. Both Carolyn and Jess were lovely to work with and captured some stunning shots. I genuinely cried happy tears when we got them. We eloped and asked for a couple of quick photos back to announce our marriage and the four they sent across the very next day are still among our favourites. We had a wonderful experience with Jess, she was so easy going it made what was a stressful day for me (personally)such a lovely experience, we laughed and had such fun while having our photos done. We were so lucky to have found Karolyn and Jess for our wedding in Italy. Not only do we have beautiful pictures capturing our perfect day but they also worked the evening before taking photos of our pre wedding dinner, which was such a treat as all our guests had flown in from all over the world, everyone was relaxed and having fun. Karolyn and Jess made us feel very comfortable and took some amazing candid shots that we will treasure forever. On the big day they split up and followed my bridal party and I and my husband and his group and it was so fun to look back and see what his group was up to whilst we giggled away over champagne and makeup! We didn't have a videographer for our wedding which I was initially worried about, but Honey and the Moon just captured the essence of the day that I don't feel like we missed out on anything at all. Sorry ladies, I’m very very late in posting this review of your services. Our wedding was on January 3rd 2020 at The Merchant Hotel and Jess stayed with us for 8hours. We have 600+ photos that we are delighted with. Jess was incredibly patient, professional and personable. We asked for a more “reportage” type portfolio and that’s what she delivered, but she was very happy to take any ad hoc requests from our guests who were in “all the feels” mode on the night. The photos have been on a screensaver loop at home for the past two years so we are reminded of the day, every day! Hopefully things will pick up for all the businesses affected by the pandemic this year and if you’re getting married in or around NI, I can’t recommend Honey and the Moon highly enough.

I absolutely adored my wedding photos, I found the girls professional but also down to earth which is ideal for putting you at ease while posing for photos when you’re not used to having to pose. They were very organised and navigated all the extended family photos seamlessly which is no easy feat as our family is quite large with lots of small children. They stayed late in to the night and even took photographs of everyone dancing on the dance floor and us cutting the cake in real time (I’ve been to a few weddings where shots like this were staged early in the day for photos and not in real time and I always find that a bit naff. 🤣) Anywho, I found my photos to be natural and a lovely reflection of the day we had, free from and gimmicks or cheese which was important to both of us. We got married in May 2014 and Honey and the Moon captured our day. My husband and I are both very camera shy and had a very small and intimate wedding day. We were keen to get photos to remember the day but did not want to give much energy to staged photos. Their candid style was perfect for capturing all of those little moments during the day in a natural way that didn't make us cringe after the fact. Nearly 8 years later the photos don't feel dates or out of fashion yet and I love how timeless they feel.
