From the start of the process to the final product Conor has been fantastic. All communication has been clear and choosing him as our photographer really took a lot of stress out of the planning for our wedding day. I honestly couldn’t recommend Conor and Light & Wisdom photography more. My partner and I booked Conor just before the first lockdown, and whilst we had to postpone our wedding for a year and a half, Conor was still brilliant about keeping in touch and we knew we wanted to stick with him. He went totally above and beyond our expectations, driving from Belfast to Donegal for an engagement shoot, to Derry for a site visit, and then to Derry again for the wedding itself; he couldn’t have done more and we’re so grateful. Everyone who came in contact with him during the wedding said how lovely he was, and both he and his colleague Sarah managed to capture our day so perfectly, with stunning photos and snapshots of every special moment. So, not only incredibly talented photographers, but also super kind and relaxed - I can’t imagine having chosen anyone else, thanks Light & Wisdom for everything!

We had the pleasure of Conor & Sarah capturing our wedding day! 💛 From the booking process to the day we received our pictures we couldn’t have received a better service. We both felt so at ease and we’re able to enjoy our day, Conor was always in the background snapping away. We wanted a few set pictures of our bridal party and families but we’re more keen on the natural pictures which is what we got! We have so many pictures we love & will cherish the rest of our lives. Conor was recommended to us by a family member who described him as an incredibly talented & enthusiastic photographer & an all‐round decent guy who was taking the plunge into starting his own photography business. We spoke with Conor & discussed his wedding package options which were very reasonable. Being in the early stages of his photography business, at that time he did not have any examples of previous wedding work that he could show us, however we could already tell from his family portraits that there was definite talent there, so we took a bit of a gamble & booked him in. From that point onwards, Conor set about redefining the meaning of “going above & beyond”. Months out from our wedding, Conor was in regular contact with us, talking us through all our options in terms of photography styles, photo staging, group shot options & locations. Conor had no problem in contacting our reception venue to clarify the finer details. All this preparation ahead of time meant nothing was left to chance or open‐ended on the day & everything went like clockwork. Our wedding package included a second photographer named Sarah. Having both guys involved was brilliant as it meant not only that the bride & groom had their own photographer during the morning preparations, but also that one photographer was able to travel directly to the reception following the ceremony while the other was taking a photo shoot in a separate location. This meant that lots of special moments & interactions were captured as our guests arrived at the reception, moments & interactions that we otherwise would never have seen. Remarkably Sarah’s style of photography is totally in sync with Conor’s. Their shots from throughout the day blend seamlessly together in the final collection. Living outside the country, we travelled back only a few days before the wedding. As a result, our family stepped in to help us out with a lot of the organizing. One thing that we were not aware of in the run‐up was the sheer time & effort that Conor had gone to in researching locations for photographs between the ceremony & the reception. After meeting with our family to get an understanding of some locations that would be significant to us, he visited those places, studied them & arranged access to them for us, should we wish to use them on the day. Entirely due to Conor’s efforts now have beautiful photos with the most unique backdrops, in a location that has deep historic importance to our family. We couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect photo shoot in a more appropriate location. We decided that we would like our photos to have a natural feel, with just a few of the more formal group photos. Perhaps the biggest indicator of how well Conor & Sarah accomplished that mandate is the reaction from almost all our guests that we have since shown the photos to, namely, “I didn’t know you even had a photographer there”. Conor & Sarah mingled naturally with our guests throughout the day & night, leaving everyone including us entirely at ease & comfortable. This, undoubtedly, is why every one of their shots catches the most relaxed & natural expressions & reactions, creating a collection of photos that truly capture the essence of the day. After the wedding Conor got straight onto preparing our photo collection. As he worked on it, he drip‐fed us a couple of teaser photos every day or two, meaning we got to enjoy a few recent memories each day of our honeymoon. After a few weeks we received a slideshow which had a few of our favourite songs synced up perfectly to photos, creating the most perfect showcase of the entire day – genuinely of spine‐tinglingly good quality, meaning we have now watched it between 2 & 3 hundred times. Conor & Sarah are truly masters in their field & it’s so obvious that they love what you do. They are a pleasure to work with & to be around. We have no hesitation in recommending them to all. Conor was our photographer for our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. Prior to the wedding we had one request and that was that the day wasn't consumed with staged photographs taking us away from our guests. Apart from that he was given very little brief. What was clear on the day was that Conor had put the work in to ensure he knew what was right for us. He researched the area we were in and found locations that only a great photographer could invisage a great photograph. Throughout the day he was never far away from us but for the most of it we never knew he was there. Our interactions with him were fun and relaxed and our guests thought he was absolutely amazing.
