Julian took studio photos of our son, who has severe disabilities and is not easy to get a good picture of! He did a stunning job, quickly made it fun for our son, and put us all at ease. The photos are fantastic, we've chosen some as this years Christmas cards. We asked if he could do a small edit (remove the bogie from the nostril!) and he had completed that within an hour of us messaging him. Absolutely first rate. Genuinely an amazingly skilled photographer, and also just a kind human being! Wedding photos and video were absolutely gorgeous and caused lots of tears. We have used Julian Burr Photography a few times and have been so happy with the photos! First was for my partners 30th birthday fancy dress party. Julian caught so many great moments on camera and we knew we would use him again. We love that not every photo is staged and he really caught the best bits of the night Second was for our wedding. A festival theme in a field where we knew people wouldn’t be stood around for long posing for photos so to have Julian there was perfect. He caught everyone in the moment and showed everyone’s emotions and how much fun everyone was having! We were so pleased with our photos and will treasure these forever! Julian is a fantastic photographer. He shot our wedding recently and the pictures are wonderful. Our guests have also said since how lovely he was. He was friendly and professional throughout, managed to herd our various relatives without ruffling any feathers and got some beautiful shots in a sensible time frame. While we did have posed group shots they were done smoothly and without looking pretentious. The candid shots he caught during the day are joyous and really captured the personalities of the guests. As a fat bride I was deeply apprehensive about having my photo taken and being made to feel hideous. With Julian there was none of that. At no point did he say or do anything that made me feel a hassle to be photographed, and the final shots make me and my husband look great whilst still looking like ourselves. All in all he is an expert in providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and catching people at their best. I couldn't recommend him more.

I have worked with Julian more times than I can count now, from the very first shoot, he was incredibly professional, relaxed, approachable and efficient. He is a fantastic photographer and is so versatile, he can photograph portraits, family photos, social images (insta, fb), business marketing images, weddings, events, pets, you name it! I have booked him for nearly all of the above and everytime, the photos turn out brilliantly! He is a true professional, he has mastered his craft and continues to get better and develop his skills. He uses lighting and other equipment when necessary and has a range of amazing, high tech cameras and lenses, which he switches between to get a range of focal lengths and depths to the set of images. No image is the same. Julian is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend booking him for your next set of high quality photos, whatever they may be for, that will last a lifetime.
