Neil was great, he made us feel at ease and took some lovely shots for us to use as promotional material for concerts. Would highly recommend for business and family pictures. We were not easy subjects but he did a great job! Thanks Neil :)

We have had photographs taken of the children on two occasions and both times we have been so happy with the pictures. Neil was really good with the children and got the best out of them. We would certainly use him again.

Had great fun on the shoot with Neil. The whole family enjoyed it. Photography was brilliant and gave us a big selection of styles to choose from. Very relaxed atmosphere, which we really appreciated.
Photos were printed very quickly and whole service was brilliant.
Thanks Neil! :)

Neil was absolutely fabulous with my 6 month old who really wasn’t up for having her pictures taken! He was very patient and willing to try lots of different tactics to get her picture and in the end he got some really beautiful shots!
Highly recommend this photographer and will be using him again!

Super experience with Neil. We gave him a very tight time frame in which to work and he produced the perfect photograph, without any issues at all. The shoot was easy, relaxed and fun and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Having spent a day of 1:1 tuition with Neil, I felt compelled to write a review. I have wanted to take my photography to another level and struggled to capture the shots that I was very satisfied with.
From my first contact with Neil via email and telephone, I was impressed by his whole approach to ensuring I got what I needed. He wanted to see some examples of my work and then made suggestions to what he thought would best help.
The day was planned with his extensive knowledge of the Beacons and surrounding areas. He choose 3 sites each with their own challenges.
When we met he was such a personable and enthusiastic person. Constantly pointing out things along the way. We went to the falls and because of his knowledge of the area, he took us off the beaten track to areas not usually accessed or known to many, so we could get some different shots.
Neil's approach changed the whole way I normally would go about things. Making me scout the area. Thinking about what works. His eye for composition and detail is impeccable. He makes you work for every shot. Never telling you what's wrong, just pointing out little things or questioning you, so you learn to see it for yourself.
Instead of rapping off 20 or 30 shots and looking to see if I had one which was any good. It was like a marksman scouting the absolute best location to get the perfect shot.
I must have only taken 10 shots all day but everyone was an images I have always aspired to capture.
The most rewarding part of the day and a measure of Neil's teaching was an unexpected few shots in very bad fog at Maen Llia, standing stone. In particular, a shot we got when about to give up as the fog was so thick. We loaded the gear in the car to go and as we sat in the seats, a lone tree in front of us, standing in the fog and hanging over a fence just jumped out at me, as a potentially fabulous shot. Neil said he agreed and moved the car, and out the gear came.
It turned out to be one of my favorites and one I'll print. I realised, I'd never have noticed or taken it before. Neil taught me the importance of capturing something that tells a story about the landscape your in. This was it, the Beacons that day. Simple composition full of drama, and in this case, less was more.
I am booking a further 1:1 to do Pen y Fan and I recommend anyone wanting to take there photography to another level, contacting Neil
