Sam was #1 on our wishlist wedding photographers from the minute I saw his instagram! We managed to nab him for our own lockdown wedding in June and I can't describe how happy we are that we did! His photos are effortless, joyful, super stylish and just manage to capture feelings like no others! On top of this, his professionalism and easy going attitude are just two of the many reasons why he managed to fit in like family in our wedding of 16 people! Choosing to marry in 2020 instead of 2019 was a terrible decision but choosing Sam as a photographer was one of our best decisions. I don’t think I spoke to one guest (did only had 30!) that didn’t complement Sam- the quality of the photo is obvious but his relaxed nature and ability to become part of the wedding is what really stands out of the day. He is cool, calm and collected. Couldn’t be more grateful for his flexibility- we had to change our date and everything about the wedding multiple times but all Sam said to all of it was ‘yes- let’s do it’. Where do you start writing a review for the man who turns your memories into a visual masterpiece....and then some! Sam was the photographer we chose for our wedding in Greece and I spent a lot of time looking for someone who I thought could capture our big day in a way that wasn't intrusive but also allowed everyone to relax and enjoy themselves without the fussy wedding photography I hate. Say cheese anyone? Sam met the brief perfectly. From day one speaking to Sam we knew it would be the perfect match. He made us feel so relaxed and all the way through to today two months after the wedding he has been incredible. Above and beyond are the words I would use to describe Sam. 39C heat anyone? Yep. Sam was a hero. How he managed to hand over 600+ photos and each one draw an awwww out of anyone who sees them is beyond me. Most of Sam's pictures could easily be in the next print of Vogue, seriously they're ridiculous. Just look on his Instagram account! Sam captured our love, our family and friends and the one memory you never wish to forget just perfectly. Thank you Sam. Book this man. Life choices don't come easier than this.

Sam is the Don Corleone of wedding photography, but without all the killing. Aside from the obvious fact via his website that his photography is beyond classy, unique and hugely emotive, he is a true gent, a communicator, a smiler, an uber organised & efficient, reliable 4K package of a man. If he was available for other event photography (he probably isn’t, we were told to contact him for our wedding over a year in advance because of such high demand) I would ask to him to attend my other landmark life moments just to be present, and to perhaps press the shutter a couple of times too. As a brucey bonus, he has just completed an iron man which blows my mind on a daily basis and his a sound testament of commitment to cause. You know when you meet someone, see their product and come away thinking that person has found his/her calling in life. That is Sam, and the result is clear to see in his photography. Choosing a photographer was one of the decisions we spent longest making during wedding planning as we placed a lot of importance on it, knowing they'd be what we were left with once the wedding was over - and we're so glad we picked Sam! His work is incredible - we're so happy with all the photos of our wedding. He seems to have this ability to pick up people's personalities in the shots he takes! Our album really reflected the day we had - there are some really beautiful and moving images, yet there are also some hilarious and surprising ones, particularly as the day/night progressed! Where to start! It was the best decision we made choosing Sam to capture our day. We knew we wanted documentary style that wasn’t intrusive and allowed everyone to relax and have fun. He completely exceeded our expectations, we are blown away by the photos we received! Sam captured so many real moments not just the main events and the photos really show the emotions throughout the day. Each photo makes us either laugh or cry and takes us back to the weekend. We also loved having the pre-wedding session not only to get to know Sam but we have some beautiful photos from everyone gathering the day before. During the day he will only take you away from your guests for a short amount of time so you don’t feel like you miss out and you still get a lot of amazing photos! The process after the wedding is also very thoughtful, with sneak peak photos, a video, online gallery of images and then a usb delivery! He is also a really nice guy who completely put us at ease, he ensured the day ran smoothly and helped make a tough decision on the morning when it started to rain! We can’t thank him enough, he works so hard running around to capture everything from early morning until the last song (+1200 photos later)!!! Our guests loved him too and everyone couldn’t believe how talented he is and how nice he was! We have looked at the photos so many times and they take us right back!

Sam was the photographer for our wedding earlier in the year. We were fortunate to have met Sam a couple of years prior at my sister's wedding. Having seen the photos he took of her day, the decision of who we should have at ours was an easy one. Sam worked incredibly hard throughout the day. He was with us from sunrise to the last song of the night. A lot of photographers produce a happy record of the day. What Sam is able to capture are moments which spark sheer joy. Not just of the main events but also the subtle moments in-between moments where the personality of all our family and friends come to life. I mean what can I say. If your getting married you need this man! His work should speak for itself, and as unbelievable as it may sound ALL his images are amazing as the ones you can see. From the first moment of the day, Sam was with us and helping out (even with flowers and stuff outside of his job!). Myself and my wife are not very good at being photographed but we needn't have worried because he made us feel completely at ease, to the point where we were able to forget we were being photographed because he had us laughing and chatting. Even the more formal shots aren't stiff and overly posed, being really natural and reflecting the mood and people in them. Everyone one that came to the wedding has commented on his ninja-like camera skills just popping up and disappearing and being completely unobtrusive, and also grabbing a few impromptu requested shots of couples through the day. Sam was fantastic following the wedding, we had a super quick turn around on our teaser/sample images and a really quick turn around on our full batch of images (especially considering there are 700!!). The delivery of the images, both digitally and physically was smooth and easy with all printing instructions and everything. I literally cannot recommend him enough. We spent ages searching for a photographer and I knew from the first meeting that Sam was the one, and I wasn't wrong. A. Ma. Zing.

Looking back, the best advice I got during the months of planning was: whatever your budget, don't cut short on the photographer. No matter how hard you try to stay focused, your wedding day will be over in what seems only a few seconds!!! And looking back, it will be very hard to remember all that happened during that very emotional time. That's why you need Sam! He will make sure to capture all of it in an absolutely stunning way. And we were instantly thrown back to our wedding by looking through the all of the (800+!!!!) pictures. When we found Sam on Fearless Photographers, we loved that his images are beautiful, non-staged and always a little suprising. Plus, he is just a lovely and easy-going person. Choosing a wedding photographer was difficult but once we can across Sam Docker we knew we had met the right guy. The first time we met him we just loved how relaxed, yet professional he was and he shared the same views that we had for our big day. We received a pre-wedding shoot as a Christmas present and this gave us a glimpse of what to expect on the big day. We had to cancel once at the last minute due to an awful weather forecast, even with a bit of rain on the 2nd attempt he managed to get some amazing shots and put us completely at ease. Eventually the big day came and Sam more than lived up to our expectations. We had both a civil and Hindu ceremony on the same day with a pretty tight schedule so worked Sam hard! He was there from 10am until almost 12. He mingled well with all the guests and it felt more like having a friend at the wedding than a formal photographer. We were sat in Tuscany when the preview photos came through and they blew us away! We couldn’t wait to see the complete set although we didn’t know how we were going to chose our favourites as every shot seem to make it onto our favourite list! The final shots (over 1000) didn’t disappoint. Looking through them all was such a pleasure and we don’t know how we are ever going to select which ones to make into an album. If you are thinking about getting Sam as your photographer, do it! You will not regret it one bit. He was one of the best decisions we made and would highly recommend him to anyone. Sam is wonderful photographer and a top man. My wife picked Sam based in part because of his uber impressive work and in part due to his warm and affable personality when she first spoke with him about potentially photographing our day. I think that is a key part of what makes a great wedding photographer - someone who makes you and your guests instantly comfortable and someone who you can be open and honest with about what you want from the pictures. We didn't want clumsy, drawn out or staged photography but candid and real moments that caught the feelings of the day. Sam did not disappoint. He had the skill to deliver it almost anonymously. So many of our guests commented on his style; mingling without obtrusion to capture the vibe of the day. It was the same for Beth and I - it was like being photographed by a friend. If that wasn't enough, he sent us a teaser of 70 amazing photos less than 24 hours after the wedding just as we started the emotional come down. A classy touch. The photos are a triumph, the slide show moved us to tears (both kinds) and the memories of our perfect day are always there for us to look at - all 876 of them. Don't hesitate. Having seen Sam's portfolio, and loving his style, we knew we could trust his skill completely in achieving what we wanted. He clearly had an eye for the abundance of small moments that truly make up the whole experience. What we were less sure about was how comfortable we would feel, as we were both a little self-conscious being in-front of the lens. Within minutes of meeting Sam for our engagement shoot however, we were laughing, chatting, and felt completely relaxed. It was our first glimpse into how easy he was going to be to work with. On the day he glided between rooms without us even realising he was there. He was such a pleasure to have around. Always smiling, always an assuring and stable moment in the complete whirlwind that is your wedding day. Looking back over the photos he sent through - all 800! - it was an absolute joy to see how he had managed to capture every detail. The compositions were gorgeous, constructed by him with an ease that most people have to train for, but which comes to him so easily. The portraits of our friends and loved ones captured natural moments of happiness and joy which are impossible to force. We will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. The next couple who booked Sam for their wedding, are very very lucky indeed.

Sam is a superstar photographer, he really went over and above by coming to our pre-wedding beach party, pinning us down for a beautiful sunset shoot on the eve of the wedding, and then giving 100% on the day itself. Beyond the impeccable photography and huge effort, what really makes Sam stand out is the pleasure he takes in your joy. He seemed to genuinely enjoy being there with us!

It would be impossible to recommend Sam more highly. We spent a long time considering all sorts of different options, and ultimately, no-one came close to Sam, and he absolutely surpassed expectations. Not only is his photography completely beautiful (everyone who sees them is blown away) but he is genuinely the very nicest man. It was like having an extremely talented friend take your photographs - he just melted into the crowd but got all the moments we missed, and so many more. He'd scouted out the location beforehand (having arrived in France the previous day) which meant that when we did pop off from the party to get a few shots at golden o'clock we wasted no time at all - and they are some of our favourites. He has an amazing eye for the dance floor in particular, and captured the atmosphere of the whole day so perfectly. Basically, he is someone you can just completely trust to absolutely nail it; if you're wavering over whether to go for it not, don't - just book him - you won't regret it. Sam is wonderful.
