Had newborn photos done with Nadine. She was amazing start to finish, made me feel at ease. Photos also turned out amazing. She is brilliant at what she does and makes sence why she is in top 3 in Edinburgh to have photos taken. If your thinking of going somewhere to have photos taken for any occasion this is definitely where I would recommend in a heart beat.Thank you again x

Nadine is an incredibly talented professional. We chose Tamara Studios to capture the most important moments of our lives (pregnancy, newborn shoots, first Christmas...) . After all these times I should know that the photos will be incredibly beautiful but the reality is that every time I am surprised and amazed!!!! Nadine makes it look like so easy and effortless, when we all know how hard is to take a nice picture of our baby and toddler!! Plus the experiences themselves are so much fun with her!! highly recommended!!!

We took our baby and toddler for some photos earlier this month. This is the second time I have been to Tamara studios-the first was for a snow shoot. Both times we have been delighted with the results. Beautiful photos-captured even when our wee boy wasn’t particularly in the mood! Lovely relaxed environment and Nadine was great with the kids. We got some amazing newborn photos and family shots too. We would definitely go back again when the kids are older.

I have got a boudoire session as a birthday gift from my husband. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at Tamara Studios.- the make-up and hair styling and the the session. Very friendly and nice staff members definitely made that whole experience really exciting and a lot of fun. The pictures are truly amazing! Can't recommend enough. I have been meaning to write this review for the longest time and here I am….. better late than never. I have had photoshoots before, and I have to admit that Nadine is the bee’s knees! She is ammmmmmmmmmazeballs at what she does and effortlessly built a rapport with me. I had my 35th boudoir photoshoot, and before the big day Nadine called me for a short brain storming session as she wanted to get a clear idea of what my ‘end in mind’ was. I felt really well taken care of from the moment I spoke with her on phone and the expectations were clearly laid out. We bounced ideas back and forth – it was great! When I showed up to the studio the ambience was really intimate and relaxed. She has an amazing studio at the shore in Leith, and the layout is just the bomb. I had different outfits and props which she perfectly integrated into the photoshoot and she tailored the whole shoot to my personality. I have never felt so comfortable in front of someone I just met. We had a second session where I went through the photos and they were sooooooo good I ended up taking them ALL! 😊 Thank you so much Nadine, I am really sorry for the late review but here I am….. Oh my gosh, where to begin with how amazing Nadine is & the brilliant quality of our photographs from our recent shoot.... Completely stunning and they are just perfect. We contacted Nadine to ask for a "Family Photo Shoot" ahead of the Christmas Holidays so that I - being a total 'typical' American - could have an up to date photograph of my husband and I and our new dog, Hoopey, included in our Christmas Cards this year. She was fantastic from start to finish - on the ball with getting back in touch with us to book the appointment for the shoot. She explained everything in full detail to us, so we knew exactly what to expect and from the minute we went into the studio, we felt like we were being photographed by an old-friend. She was easy to talk to and made us feel right at home - she has a totally "go with the flow" attitude which is great and it turns out that these moments she captured were the best photos from our shoot. LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos and the quality is excellent. We would highly recommend Nadine & Tamara Studios and do plan on using her again in the future! I think that our little Hoopey could give that John Lewis Buster the Boxer a run for his money for this year's best Christmas advertisement!

I booked a boudoir photoshoot at Tamara Studios, with Nadine, and could not more highly recommend the experience. The booking included a one-hour makeup and hair session with the lovely makeup/hair artist, Suzie, who did a fabulous job prepping me for the shoot; I felt confident and beautiful with the makeup and hair-styling she had done according to my preferences. Then the photoshoot with Nadine was wonderful; Nadine is warm and welcoming, and truly makes the photoshoot all about your comfort and your enjoyment. I thought I'd be stiff and nervous in the beginning but with Nadine's guidance, the photoshoot was a success from start to finish. The photos were divine, I could not have been more pleased. As someone who has experienced several years of body image and self-confidence issues, I was floored by how beautiful I felt during the photoshoot, and how confident in myself I felt when viewing the photos. Nadine was fantastic, would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Nadine is an amazing photographer and we are so happy with the way out cake smash shoot and photos turned out for our son's first birthday. Nadine is very professional and made sure everyone was relaxed. My little one was a bit nervous to start with but Nadine had really good tips and the photos came out perfect and natural looking, not stage, which is what we wanted. I booked a session with Tamara studio's through itisOn just to see if we could get a single family shot as a gift for my mother. I have to say the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Nadine is so professional and experienced - from the moment we arrived she put us at ease. We started the shoot with very little fus and she made the whole experience feel like a fun half hour of fun with the family - never once did we feel uncomfortable or awkward. As someone who dreads having my photo taken, this is saying something. When it came time to view the photos once again Nadine really impressed us. She has a lovely comfortable viewing area and has the most brilliant process for choosing photos. I must say I didn't expect to like any of the photos with me in them but there were loads of lovely shots to choose from. She's extremely talented at making even the least photogenic people look good! :) As you would expect we couldn't leave with just one photo we definitely bought more and we will treasure them. Nadine didn't pressure us at all to purchase a larger package. Her work speaks for itself. Thank you for a great experience Nadine.

On the 25th April 2018 I went to Tamara Studios in Edinburgh for my photo shout. When you walk in you get a friendly welcome from Nadine, who is the one who that takes the photographs. First of all the Makeup Artist done my hair and makeup, she really done a great job especially putting waves in to my hair, I felt good and relaxed for my photo shout. When I was in the next room Nadine had a chat before hand about which 3 outfits i had and which one i wanted to put on first then I began to do a few stand positions to get my photo taken till I moved on to my next outfit and so on It was really good but I wish I done a few more different positions to get my photo done, apart from that it was a great experience and Nadine was outstanding and very helpful. After the photo shout Nadine made me an appointment for to come back to view my photographs and she also gave me a leaflet on the package price range, that i would like to go for. I was so looking forward to coming back to viewing my photographs at Tamara Studios. I was very impressed to see all 45 photographs that Nadine picked out the best once. I chosen the 10 Digital Images set so I taken my time to see all my photographs untill I chosen my 10 favourite once. After Nadine out them on a UBS stick. The hole experience was magic to start to finish, I really had the best time visiting Tamara Studios, one of my best moments also Nadine was excellent at her job and made it all worth while being there. I would say Tamara Studios in Edinburgh is well recommended and you should treat yoursef there family and friends.

We had the most fun time having our family photoshoot (only 3 years too late 🙈)and Christmas shoot for our girls last weekend with Tamara Studios. Nadine was just so natural with our girls and we all had so much fun , the studio is fantastic and has everything you need for delicious lattes to childrens toys. This was our second experience doing the winter photo shoot at Tamara’s Studios and the experience was just as fabulous as it was 4 years ago with our eldest daughter. The fake snow is such a lovely fun experience for the kids and the moments captured are just wonderful. What I like most about Tamara’s studios is the candid shots she picks up when you least expect it, the moments you miss at home when you’re searching for your camera. We didn’t expect to get any decent images of our toddler who kept walking off and refusing to take part, but the shots we got were just beautiful and captured their personalities perfectly. We’ll definitely be back for a third time.

Words can not describe just how amazing working with Nadine was... We have done the cake smash photoshoot with our 1 year old daughter and I just can’t praise enough the professionalism and talent that Nadine presented. We are absolutely in love with the lovely images of the wee one and our family! A brilliant experience from start to finish! Nadine coped very well with our very lively boys. She was friendly and relaxed but able to direct us to get a variety of different shots. We struggled to pick which photos to get when we went back to view them as there were so many we wanted - we ended up picking more than we had planned. The photos are an excellent quality and Nadine was happy to print different sizes from what she does as standard. She has also been so helpful and accommodating in reprinting one photo that I wasn't completely happy with the tones of. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tamara Studios!

I went to Tamara studios for a boudoir shoot as a surprise for my partner’s birthday. I was so nervous to start with, however Nadine made me feel really relaxed and I really enjoyed the experience and would thoroughly recommend to all. Highly recommended! We had a shoot done of our 1yr old along with some family shots. The finished products were beautiful! We were sat down to watch the entire shoot in a slideshow and then got to spend an hour choosing the ones we wanted to keep. We had a cake smash photoshoot for our one year old Kara and absolutely loved every minute of it! Nadine was very welcoming and accommodating. She made us feel at ease and was very patient with me fitting in breastfeeding in between takes. She’s very professional giving us helpful tips on how to pose for the camera etc. My husband’s usually nervous and awkward in photoshoots but she made him at ease too - so much more with our baby - Kara enjoyed it and was evident with her smiles in the finished product. The cake is yummy too and you can even bring some for home. I like how smooth the transition from the family shoot to the actual cake smash to the bath shoot. We just had our viewing session today and the photos were all amazing! If you are thinking of doing a cake smash photoshoot then I would suggest go for Tamara Studios. Came home extremely delighted after viewing our first family photo shoot with our 7 month old. I'm no the most photogenic but the pictures were better than I expected! Nadine is very professional, friendly and welcoming. She made us all feel at ease, occupied and entertained our son, resulting in the fantastic pictures. We had a family shoot at Tamara Studios and could not recommend this enough! The end photos are gorgeous! (i've attached one of her photos) Choosing your favourites is difficult but Nadine's process in chosing makes it a little bit easier and the way the photos are presented for selection is lovely and relaxing! My son wasn't too keen on the camera flashes to begin with but Nadine persevered trying lots of things to help him relax and we ended up with some lovely smiling shots. Nadine herself is friendly and helpful and you feel relaxed in her company as soon as you come in to the studio.. you are not and do not feel rushed and you can tell she is an experienced photographer. I will hopefully be back when we have another addition to our little family

Our shoot with Nadine was just really fun, the studio is lovely and big, she didn't mind the kids moving around to expel any nervous energy. She was so relaxed and chilled with the kids and us. We all just had so much fun. I definitely recommend the paint shoot and the bath tub shoot. Nadine was really great at bringing out our kids very different characters and the finished photos are just amazing! Honestly the way she has captured the differences and also the similarities is awesome. And I finally have pictures that show the bond my kids have (even though it may not last) lots of treasured memories.

As a mother of three young children it is virtually impossible to take good quality pics that a, would be proud of showing on the wall and b, would reflect their true personalities- the moment we walked into Tamara Studio’s the kids were at home and happy and Nadine was so calm, gentle and brilliant with us all! I booked the shoot after seeing (and loving) a shoot Tamara's studios did for our friends and we are delighted with our photos!!! Nadine was really friendly and nice and was good at incorporating our ideas/ props into the shoot. We could not stop smiling during and after our photoshoot. We felt welcome and relaxed, our little one crawled around giggling and Nadine was very patient (and fast :D) Leaving the studio my partner said: "It was great!" what a surprise for me, he is usually reluctant to be photographed. Simply amazing from start to finish :) I had decided to do a boudoir shoot as a joint 30th birthday present to myself and a wedding present for my fiancé in October... This is so out of character for me and so I spent ages looking online for someone I thought I'd feel comfortable with. Having found Tamara Studios, I decided to email Nadine and see if she could fit me in as she seemed so friendly on her website and I thought her pictures were gorgeous & tasteful! From the very first point of contact through to choosing photos and 'aftercare', Nadine has been a dream! Not only was I pampered beforehand (thank you Suzie for making me look so good!!), the actual shoot experience was so empowering and so much fun! It was a buzz to view the slideshow too... I'd never seen myself like this and I loved it. I couldn't recommend having a boudoir shoot done more - at Tamara Studios! Thank you Nadine for being so very lovely and so kind, encouraging and supportive throughout!

We went to Tamara Studios to have photos taken of our two daughters. Nadine and Ali were very welcoming and put us at ease, as well introducing their very cute daughter Tamara to us. Nadine had the challenge of dealing with our grumpy 4 year old, as well as our newborn, but this didn't faze her at all! She was excellent with our children and made them fell safe and relaxed. She managed to draw out their true personalities and was incredibly patient and professional. This was our first ever photo shoot, so we were a little hesitant at first, but we had a fantastic time and would certainly come back again.

We were given a gift voucher for a family shoot and one print, which is amazing, however it broke my heart a little to think I won’t see some of the other images of my kids again!! Nadine embraced our thoughts, gave us great suggestions for posing using the props and the photos are just fantastic. Absolutely loved our Bump to Newborn shoots, never been to a shoot before so didn't know what to expect but it was so much fun. Tamara studios is excellent! We went for a snow shoot with my 5 month old and 3 year old niece and Nadine couldn't have been better. She was engaging with the children, not caring how silly she looked or how much snow my niece threw on her head. Nothing phased her and I could tell she was getting excellent shots. She made the whole experience, with a sometimes tempestuous toddler, a breeze. Understanding when I needed to stop to breastfeed and when the kids needed a break. Would recommend to all parents who want to capture some special moments of their children and done so in a comfortable and love-filled environment.

Nadine was so accomodating, I wanted an outdoor 'beach' photo shoot.. &it couldn't have been more challenging conditions..the Edinburgh 'haar' combined with the fact I hadn't realised it was the Portobello Fun Run so organisers & around 1,000 competitors were congregating on the beach..&then there was my 4 year old who absolutely refuses to pose for a photo (&spent most of her time sprinting at speed away from Nadine & her camera!) Nadine was so patient & spent ages trying out every idea I had suggested plus a few of her own..&managed to make it all feel totally comfortable &like a fun family trip to the beach rather than set- up or staged.. exactly what we were hoping for. I have no idea how she managed to capture Emily so well, but needless to say we ended up with some fantastic family shots, a LOT of the most photogenic member of the family..&my bump in a few!! So many amazing photos to choose from and a really nice day out as well.. all round a lovely, relaxed experience with fantastic end results. Thanks again Nadine, Cath & Ross Baxter Xxx

Getting photographs taken wasn’t my idea, but it really was well worth it! The photographer was lovely, amazing with the kids, including newborn, put everyone at ease, and the photos were beautiful, elegant and natural. Only difficulty was choosing between them! Highly recommend.

I was initially sceptical about a Christmas photo shoot, as I am not a fan of overly gymicky or staged photo shots, but when I saw a snow shoot, I couldn't resist for my 3 & 1 year old. The shoot was relaxed and Nadine and Ali tried to make us feel at ease. When I went back to preview the photos I was surprised that they had 33 photos to show us, to be honest I would have been happy with 1 good shot. When I saw the slide show of all the photos I was overwhelmed and could not believe how many stunning photos there were, I actually struggled to cut them down. Although I ended up buying more photos than I had initially intended, there were no hard sells at all and I did not feel under any pressure, it was purely because there were so many amazing shots to choose from and I couldn't bare to part with anymore. Thank you so much Nadine for producing such amazing, natural, photos (for a usually unphotogenic family) and to Ali for all your help during my very indecisive selection process. I have no doubt that we will be back in the future 💕 Xx

I tried to lose weight to get a boudoir shoot done for my husbands birthday, always kind of fancied getting it done if I was thin enough. Didn't lose the weight I was hoping for but had already booked so continued and went ahead with shoot. For someone due to being bigger very embarrassed for anyone to see me without my clothes on, nadine made me really relaxed and I wasnt embarrassed at all, the girl who done my hair and make up was lovely too. My husband loves the picture I gave him and the response from friends has been lovely and going to order more (which usually hate pics of myself too as I tend to hide from cameras ) and everyone can't wait to see them 😁😁
