If you are considering Jo+Liam as your photographers then you will not regret it! We stumbled upon them from the Scottish Wedding Collective and instantly fell in love with they style of photography and videography. It was everything and more we could have imagined! Our first meeting with Jo and Liam, where we had a few gins near our venue, was so chill and just a great way to meet them to discuss the style and vibes we had in mind for our wedding. Every email (or Instagram message) from Jo is hilarious, caring and full of TV recommendations as well as photography chat. We had to rearrange and shuffle things about due to covid restrictions but we could not find 2 more flexible and positive people! With 2 weeks notice they scouted out a new shoot location which we couldn’t even have imagined. The comments we have had from our family and friends about the photos has been amazing. They really captured every aspect of our day. As they are a duo they each spent the morning with either the bride or groom so we really got our entire day captured. On the day they took all the pressure off of us and meant we could relax and go with the flow to just enjoy every minute! I don’t know how they managed to capture so much but we love every single photo they shared with us! We can’t wait to use them in future for any more shoots. Love you guys - you captured our wedding day perfectly.

We simply cannot recommend Jo & Liam enough, they are just amazing we are in love with our wedding photos and we have just received our wedding album and it is everything we wanted and more. Jo & Liam are like having your best friends around they make you so relaxed and helped us so much on the day, so many people commented on how great they were, they were like part of the family! They really went over and above for us and took everything we asked for in to consideration, we absolutely love the styling of our photos they are just perfect and exactly what we had dreamt they would be they truly capture our perfect day in such a beautiful way! Jo was great at keeping us up to date and responding to my million questions most day’s - nothing was too much trouble for her. To say that my husband and I are "photo adverse" would be the understatement of the century. We hide in the corners of selfies and dread every time we're tagged in a Facebook photo. So when we received our sneak peek email from Jo and Liam, we were a little bit afraid to click on the link. But when we opened the first photo, we immediately fell IN LOVE! Like we couldn't wait to email all of these photos to our friends, stick them on our thank you cards, order prints for our walls, and give coffee table books to our families! They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Not only do Jo and Liam take GORGEOUS photos that capture you at your very best, they're also an absolute blast to work with on your wedding day. It really is just like having two of your best friends following you around with a camera. They really take the time to get to know all of their couples, and they make you feel 100% at ease. They took me out for dinner a few weeks before the big day, and we had an awesome time chatting about our favorite video games. (And wedding stuff, of course. But mostly video games.) In my opinion, picking the right vendors is the most important thing that you can do to ensure a smooth, successful, and stress-free wedding day. And Jo and Liam are THE BEST. Cannot recommend them highly enough. In fact, we're currently brainstorming random life events deserving of photoshoots just so that we can hire them again someday. Thank you thank you thank you, Jo and Liam, for capturing our wedding day and being AWESOME!

We booked Jo + Liam originally for our May 2020 wedding but then C happened so we decided to elope up to the North of Scotland in August and they were the best money we spent on the wedding! I'm a wedding photographer so trust me when I say how amazing they are! (Also, I always get folk saying 'It must of been really hard to pick a photographer for your own wedding' The answer is NO it wasn't hard at all as I already followed Jo+Liam for a couple of years, look at their work it's amazing) They are unbelievable photographers, creating stunning images that we absolutely LOVE and they were so much fun on the day. They went over and above for us, we are so grateful to them for all their help and hard work. The images are so beautiful, we received them back yesterday and we could not be any happier with them. Jo+Liam were also our witnesses on the day, this is very handy if you are having a real elopement. You get so much more than just a couple who are wedding photographers when you book them, highly recommend them!

When it comes to Jo + Liam, there's only 1 word that describes them as photographers (and also humans)...and that word is AMAZING! From the moment you meet them, it's difficult not to love them. As a couple who hate posing for photos, we always knew "traditional" style wedding photography was not for us. Enter Jo & Liam, camera wielding photo ninja extraodinaires :) You hardly even notice they are there, masterfully capturung not only photos but memories. When we recieved our wedding album, it took us hours to look through it all as we kept stopping to chat about what was going on or being said at each moment. Their attention to detail is phenomenal and we will be eternally grateful for perfectly capturing our special day. 1000% would recommend!

Jo's incredible photos speak for themselves, so I won't go on about that because you can see that for yourself in her galleries. I WILL go on about what amazing people Jo and Liam are, though. Jo has such a bright, fun personality. You can really tell that she loves what she does. I had multiple guests tell me how they wished they could hang out with her at the pub - and those guests were all very different people! Liam was excellent with my husband and groomsmen, fitting right in as they got ready and had a few beers. Both of them made us all feel so at ease in front of the camera, even managing to get my dad to smile in photos which he NEVER does! Jo is also very professional. She is great on communication and makes sure that you've covered off all the details with a very helpful form before the wedding day. I knew she was organised and on top of everything, so I didn't have to worry one bit about what shots we were getting on the day. My husband and I can't recommend Jo enough. She has it all - a great artistic eye, a brilliant personality, and wonderful customer service.

Jo and Liam were recommended to us by a friend and we instantly fell in love with their style of photography after looking them up. Casual meet ups before agreeing and in the run up to the wedding felt like catching up with old friends. They were also happy to give advice on other topics non-photography, e.g. caterers, venue set up, etc. They never made it feel like it is just business and always gave us plenty of their time. Although casual and laid back, they are also extremely professional and take what they do very seriously. Of all the suppliers we had for our wedding, Jo and Liam gave us the most confidence that they would meet expectation, and also that everything would fall into place on the day. When the big day came Liam arrived in the morning and was as comfortable as the ushers, joining in with the chat and poorly humoured bants. In the chaos of us getting ready, he was busy snapping away and capturing the moments. Having spoken to the Bridesmaids, they had a similar experience with Jo and absolutely loved having her there. We never expected our wedding guests to be commenting on how “cool” and brilliant our photographers are, but that’s what happened. Our guests enjoyed their friendly personality and we absolutely loved having them at our wedding. The weeks of waiting for the photos have passed and they were delivered punctually while on honeymoon. We had a special evening going through each photo and reliving our big day. The quality, colours and style of photography were exactly as we expected, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We are grateful for Jo and Liam investing their time to capture our wedding exactly the way we want to remember it.

I absolutely cannot recommend Jo and Liam enough. We live in Massachusetts and had never been to Scotland before, so planning a wedding there was a little intimidating. But Jo and Liam were so helpful with planning and day-of logistics. Not to mention they take BEA-U-TI-FUL photographs. They are so easy to talk to and made us feel totally comfortable. Jo was so funny and disarming. And Liam looked like he was free-solo-ing glens and cliffs to get interesting shots. And it paid off, we had the best elopement and the most amazing photographs to show for it.

I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Jo and Liam have been. We are a couple from Australia, so planning an overseas elopement was a little bit daunting but Jo and Liam made it feel like we were flying overseas to see close friends. Skype video chats put us at ease and got us excited and they had stella suggestions. We just received our gallery and I am over the moon. You can see in every photo how much fun we were having on our adventure and the day was just down right fun! The photos are magical an I am now faced with the impossible decision of which ones to print. My partner was super anxious about spending hours having his photo taken and he had such a great time Would 11/10 hire again.
