The session can be tailored to meet your needs and provides valuable tips, ideas and advice for improving your photography. Peter is very engaging and uses simple, accessible language to demystify the art. Highly recommended.
E. P.I had the pleasure of meeting Pete on the 18/6/2018 for a photography workshop. Pete made me feel totally at ease within the first 5 minutes. I could not of asked for more from the day it was full of clear information throughout the day. I walked away with much more knowledge than I did before hand, Pete also helped me with editing the images after the shoot. I would recommend anyone who is looking to improve there photography to book on to Pete's photo workshop.
A. F.Had my first workshop with Pete today. Total beginner, not much confidence. As the day progressed I quickly learned the basics of photography . Pete was patient and very enthusiastic regarding his art. His enthusiasm was infectious and I was never made to feel inadequate in any way. At the end of the day, my confidence had grown and I felt much more able to tackle composition etc. I am now beginning to realise how exciting photography can be. B. B.Had a wonderful time on Pete’s photography walk this evening. Really interesting area chosen to walk around and everyone’s abilities taken into account (both for photography and mobility). I would definitely recommend and it was great to get out and about on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey too!
G. W.We had some photos taken of the animals on our smallholding. Pete got on with his work unobtrusively and came up with some wonderful finished shots. They were so good we have had them printed on canvas and they are now disputed on our walls.
Pete has also qualified to do drone work so we were going to try some shots of our set up from the air. Almost by accident this turned into a video, which we have now used to advertise to holiday-makers.
Pete has a real photographer's eye, which many drone pilots seem to lack. Highly recommended
A. N.Just imagine your best friend suddenly knows everything you want to know about photography. Wouldn’t that be great? You could get their undivided attention, over a cuppa, and chat to your hearts content. Get them to listen to your idea’s and in turn they could show you some fantasic locations and tips.
This is what you get when you book on one of Pete’s workshops, not only do you gain a new friend but he’s a knowledgeable friend who listens to what you want.
Had a great beginers day with Pete and one other ‘student’. Even got to edit our pics when back at base. Have regained my confidence and enthusiasm and can’t wait to get out with my camera. Would thoroughly recommend - whatever level you are at. Thanks for a great day Pete.
G. S.Had an online beginners guide to composition workshop, it was brilliant. Full of useful information to point you in the right direction. Very professional, friendly and so easy to listen to. With some thought and following the guides shown, you will be getting those shots you've always dreamed of.
Had a second zoom workshop yesterday on the exposure triangle plus other related topics. Learnt such a lot in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Well worth it during a time when we can't meet for face to face tuition.
a. p.Met with Peter for a landscape workshop at the end of November. You couldn't wish to meet and get taught by a nicer man. His passion for photography comes across in spades. I arrived and he welcomed me in and we went over the theory over a coffee and a biscuit. Peter took the time to look at some of my work ahead of the day and we talked about where I might have room for improvement. He tailored the day to my needs. I'm quite technically competent with my camera but am missing the compositional eye.
We drove out to an island and explored for a bit, took at few compositions in various places and settled on our favourite for sunset.
I had a fantastic day, thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt a lot. I'm looking forward to editing the pictures. I'd recommend a landscape day with Peter whether you are a novice with a camera or whether you are at an advanced photographer that required some compositional pointers, or even just a guide to show you some great areas to shoot around Anglesey.
