We had an absolute ball doing our photo shoot with Polly! She was fabulous with the kids - all six of them! She had a really well planned out schedule of shots she wanted to take which meant we got a brilliant variety of group shots and individual portraits - essential when coordinating so many kids! And the photos!!! We love them! The gallery had the perfect amount of photos to choose from (not too many which can make it hard to decide) and we found that the package available was ideal for us! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Polly for some family photos!

We had a great photo shoot with Polly after receiving it as a gift from friends. The full shoot was very relaxed and Polly went with the flow of our two young children and dog. Not being able to get all the shots in one session Polly made a second session with us to capture the rest of the images which was so kind. All of our photos are fantastic and I would highly recently Polly for a family photo shoot !

We had a lovely family photoshoot with Polly. Polly was very organised and helpful in our pre-shoot meetings, helping us to work out the kinds of photos we wanted from the shoot. Our first planned day poured with rain, but this wasn’t a problem as Polly was happy and ready to move it on to the following day. We really enjoyed the shoot, and she was very patient despite the wee one getting rather tired towards the end. We are really happy with the beautiful photos.

Recently had Polly take pictures for my family and I (including our Labrador). They were exceptional and Polly is amazing planning and coordinating pictures before, during and after the photo shoot. Polly takes great care thinking of all the details from location, season, lighting, time of day, and even helping with outfits. The unique pictures and thoughtful details just make Polly the only choice I would ever consider for my family and I could not recommend her highly enough!!!

We used Polly for pictures of the grandchildren for a present-this is the third time she has photographed my son and couldn’t fault her. She was great at directing all the kids and getting the grown-ups involved to get some lovely smiles out of them! We had an outdoor family photo session with Polly and to sum it up in one word - fantastic! The session was purchased as a birthday gift in January 2020 and was booked for April 2020, we were unable to have the session in April and it was rescheduled to June. This time one of us was identified as a close contact and had to isolate so again we has to postpone it, it was again re-arranged for the 28th July and luckily it went ahead on that date. During this whole time Polly was so professional and kept in touch regularly. We had met Polly before at a back to school photo session where she captured lovely and unique pictures of our children in their school uniforms. She was fantastic with the children and the pictures were amazing. Although we had met before, prior to the family session she wanted to meet again to ensure we all felt comfortable around her and she could familiarise herself with how we work as a family. Due to Covid at the time we couldn’t meet face to face so we met via Zoom. During this call we spoke about photoshoot locations, our outfits and different interests we have. Polly spoke to the children to find out what they enjoy and get ideas of what they could bring to the photo shoot to make it personal to us. This was fantastic as we came up with great photo shoot ideas. We discussed many outfit options and thank goodness we did as the outfits we had planned when we told Polly she spoke about the importance of us as a family having a colour scheme that matched but also spoke about the background colours of our location. This call lasted around 60 minutes and was extremely beneficial. The communication between this call and the photo shoot continued via phone calls and messages - I phoned Polly a few times with outfit dilemmas and each time she was very helpful and professional. The photo shoot day finally arrived in July and we met Polly at 4:45pm at Pollok Country Park, we had every faith in Polly that this location would be great but we were a bit concerned about other people being in the park and how this would work for our photoshoot. Polly knew lots of great places within the park where the lighting was perfect and the background was beautiful. There were people in the park but the locations Polly took us were quiet enough that we were not disturbed or waiting for any length of time for people to pass. The photo session lasted 4 hours and Polly was so good with the children making sure they were relaxed and felt comfortable in their shots. Polly took thousands of pictures to make sure she captured the perfect image of each picture taken. Polly brought props and so did we and the outcome of the pictures is outstanding and unique to our family. We have excellent quality professional photographs in various locations within the park in multiple poses. We have natural poses and staged ones and they all look fantastic. There are pictures with the 4 of us together, the children together and the children on their own. Some of our unique pictures include us playing board games, building Lego creations and playing mini golf. We also brought a change of clothes for the children and they got pictures with their dance outfits on. We would highly recommend Polly Harris and will definitely book for more photographs in the future. Thank you so much Polly.

Polly was absolutely brilliant in facilitating our family photo shoot, which consisted of 5 adults, 3 children and off course our Dog! It took some arranging. Her patience was fantastic right through, as well as on the day itself, with her bringing the best out of us for the pictures. I have now had two different photo sessions with Polly, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She spent a morning with my family and I taking what can only be described as an amazing and natural set of photographs. She made the morning fun (keeping 3 boys 8, 6, 4 engaged), relaxed and really wanted us to have the best photographs available. Her work is the best I have seen and really captured our family. She plans and really thinks about both the setting and her subjects and what they want to achieve. She is such a kind and thoughtful person she even offered to go into the cold and fast flowing river beside our shoot to retrieve my sons lost football. I then asked Polly to update my LinkedIn photos. We spent time before hand planning what I wanted to achieve and then double the allocated time on site to ensure I was happy with my photos. Nothing is too much for Polly and she was able to present me with a brilliant album of shots to use. Without doubt, Polly is the only person we will be going to, to capture my family over the coming years and I can say without reservation, you will not be disappointed with her work.

I have just finished hanging the photos from our latest family shoot with Polly. We first used Polly last year after meeting at a school fayre. We had an outdoor session in the summer and the photos were amazing. So good it convinced me - a photophobe - that getting beautiful photos of my family was well worth it! We came back this year for an autumnal shot and the colours and images are amazing! Polly is fantastic to work with. Every detail is thought through from suggestions of what to bring for the kids, to what colour palette works for outfits that will really make the photos come alive! She is so friendly and patient with the kids (and me) that even my camera-shy 4 year old was beaming! This is now definitely an annual event for us and we'll be back next year - we'll maybe try Spring this time!

We first met Polly last Christmas at a school gala. We immediately loved her work and asked her to do our family shoot this past May. We have two small children (ages 4 and 1) and asking little ones to cooperate during a photoshoot can be very tiring for everyone. Polly was absolutely fantastic with our kids, so funny and patient! She even came with her own toys and props. 👍🏻 She kept our spirits up, was incredibly flexible and kind, all while being very professional and efficient. Beautiful Pictures! Polly undertook a photo shoot with my girls (5 and 2) within a wood of bluebells. The photos are stunning to say the least. I first met Polly at a school fair. As a family we had been meaning to have some updated family photos done. I was little unsure of doing an outside photoshoot but how wrong was I - it was brilliant fun! Polly is engaging and clearly talented at photography. We had a brief pre-photoshoot meeting to get to know her and for her to get to know a little more about us - what our interests were and what props to take with us on the day of the photoshoot. This, I realised in hindsight was so important as the photos she took captured who we are as a family unit and the props encapsulated our kids' interests and passions - football being so important to one of our girls :-) She is clearly passionate about what she does and every aspect of the service we had from her was competent, professional and so friendly. The final photos were simply stunning and the wall frames we have chosen will set these off beautifully. I would be extremely happy to recommend her and at some point in the future, I would hope to return to have more photos done.

Polly visited our Beaver Scout colony the other night and spent a great hour with all the boys and girls, teaching them (and us leaders) lots about photography. We all loved seeing her examples of different types of photo, handling professional cameras up close, and then the kids got to make their own model cameras out of recycled materials.
