We cannot recommend Rhiannon enough! She was lovely from the beginning, very open, answered all our questions and made us feel relaxed about the upcoming event and was excited to also welcome our dog into the shooting. We had our newborn photo session at our home and despite our concerns the photos would not turn out great because of the lighting, Rhiannon took some amazing photos of us! She was also very chatty and joyful and it made it us all feel at ease. I am usually camera shy, but Rhiannon gave us directions and I did not feel like I had to pose and it all felt really natural. Our baby loved the camera too! She was also very good with our pup and took great photos of her! Last but not least, she gave us a sneak peak in a few days and the rest of the photos in the time frame she mentioned at the beginning, which we all know is suuper important! I loved working with Rhiannon and I am looking forward to having other shootings with her!

Rhiannon will be part of our family's journey's for as long as she would like to do photographs for us. We had a destination wedding in Scotland last year, and we were lucky enough to find Rhiannon to take photos for our first anniversary return trip! We chose Rhiannon to take photos of our 2 week old baby and were so pleased with how the session went and the final photographs, that we have booked Rhiannon every year for our now four year old's birthday! Before we had our wee one, we would never have said we would book a professional photographer to photograph our wee one, but I'm rarely in photographs so it's a brilliant way to make sure both parents are in beautiful photographs to treasure forever. Rhiannon's photography style stood out to us to be very natural and her process is also very natural; going with the flow while dealing with an upset baby, a cranky toddler or full of beans kid. Rhiannon instantly puts us at ease and we really do have fun! We chose our favourite NTS garden for our recent photographs and Rhiannon encouraged our input to find the best spots which was great. The quality of our gallery images is excellent and Rhiannon always captures our wee one's personality brilliantly.

We first met Rhiannon when we asked her to do the newborn shoot for our now toddler. It was so relaxed, we got on so well with her, and loved the photos that a few months later we booked her for a wider family shoot as a gift for my father's retirement. As expected Rhiannon was equally delightful and got some great shots, quite a feat considering some in the group loathe being in front of the camera! What Rhiannon didn't know at that time was that I had severe post natal depression and was actually on day release from hospital in order to attend the shoot. I honestly don't think I would have coped with it had it been a photographer who didn't have such a peaceful open manner. Our then 6 month old was happy and gleeful throughout. (By contrast, when I was out of hospital a couple of months later we had a wider family shoot with a different photographer with my husband's family, the whole thing caused high levels of stress and anxiety for the entire party, not just me as the one who was ill, as the photographer was so demanding and even kept coming to try and physically twist our bodies to his preferred position! Our then 8 month old was clearly aware of the atmosphere and cried/hid away as much as able!). We recently welcomed our second child and it was a natural choice to work with Rhiannon again. She remembered so much about us, even 2 years later. She put us at ease once again and reassured us that we could still have lovely photos even though covid delayed the shoot. We wouldn't hesitate to ask her back to document more precious moments of our family in the future.

We booked Rhiannon for a “newborn” shoot of our baby. After researching I selected her as I loved her relaxed style and the fact the session took place in our house making it feel far more personal. Due to covid the session was delayed until after lockdown but Rhiannon reassured us from the get go that we would still getting great pictures even though our baby would be 4 months and I wouldn’t be disappointed that he was no longer a newborn. She was right! She kept in touch over lockdown updating us so we knew she hadn’t forgotten our booking and offered us a date on the day of restrictions being eased. The session was extremely relaxed with no time pressure or preconceived agenda. We worked around our baby’s mood/schedule and stopped to feed/have a break when required. Rhiannon’s style was very unobtrusive meaning she could capture our baby’s quirks and personality and we also got fantastic candid style pictures of us alongside him. We were free to use any rooms/props/outfits we wanted and didn’t feel rushed at all. We love the end result and got so many more edited pictures than what most other photographers offer for this type of session. This was done in a timely manner with 2 sets of “sneak peeks” while we were waiting for the gallery to be finalised. The fact that our baby was a bit older meant we got some smiles and more interaction out of him and I would definitely not be put off if you were considering a newborn shoot during lockdown but feel you have missed the boat. I think it actually worked out better. I recommend Rhiannon very highly and will defiantly use her again in the future.

Rhiannon came round to my parents house in Glasgow and did a garden photoshoot for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary which i got them as a gift due to shielding and isolation- none of the grandchildren had been able to see them in months. I contacted. Rhiannon after researching photographers in Glasgow (i live near London) who were particularly strong at family shoots that were more lifestyle and naturally. based as opposed to being staged the whole time and Rhiannon was so personable, lovely and creative she put everyone at ease from the second she got there, in spite of the current circumstances. There were two toddlers to contend. with, an older grandchild, hot weather(unseasonably) and social distance restrictions and Rhiannon did a truly amazing job at rallying everyone and ensuring we didn't miss a single opportunity.
