We recently visited Robert and Debbie for a photo shoot with our baby boy, having previously received stunning photographs of our daughter in 2018. Once again, they did not disappoint! Robert replied to all emails quickly and couldn't do enough to help. He captured the most beautiful photographs of our son, as well as some very special moments with both our children. The outfits Debbie dressed our son in were adorable! We would highly recommend Robert McLaughlin Photography for anyone looking for high quality, professional and simply stunning photographs of their newborn.

We took our baby to Robert and Debbie for his photo shoot at 12 days old and can’t recommend them enough! We hadn’t booked in advance but Robert couldn’t have been more helpful in fitting us in and working around other appointments which we had. The shoot itself was amazing, really professional and both Robert and Debbie were great with our wee one, and made sure that the environment was safe and calm for him. The photos were amazing and the turnaround between the shoot and getting the images was quick. Thank you again for an amazing service and for the beautiful photos which we now have to keep for a lifetime capturing Brody as a newborn!

I was a bit nervous about taking my new baby for a photo shoot during this pandemic but we could not have felt more safe and looked after. Many measures were put in place for our safety which was very reassuring. Robert and Debbie were absolutely fantastic with our little boy and Debbie truly has a gift! We were actually able to sit back and relax for the first time whilst Debbie handled everything! The pictures Robert took are absolutely beautiful and the whole service has been first class. We had our daughter's newborn photoshoot at Robert McLaughlin Photography in November. We chose them having had a chat with a few other businesses, and they seemed the most down-to-earth and straightforward of the lot. A couple of days before the shoot, we received clear directions to help us get to them and on reaching there, were welcomed by Robert and taken to the studio where his wife Debbie greeted us and took on our daughter's care and prep for the shoot. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement. Debbie is a master at settling down babies and getting them in the best possible state to be photographed by Robert who is a thorough professional and managed to be in all the right places capturing pictures from the best angles and in the best moments. The outcome was super, but it was the journey to getting there that makes this outfit a strong, strong recommendation from us. These guys will not disappoint you one bit. There will be no hard sell, no trickery with pricing, absolutely none of that hassle. And all this despite them being absolutely brilliant at what they do. Don't hesitate to book your photoshoot with Robert McLaughlin Photography. We certainly will be recommending them to all our friends.

I cannot recommend Robert and Debbie enough for a newborn photoshoot!! I was extremely nervous to trust anyone with our baby boy who wasn't family but I've never been made to feel so comfortable by 2 people in my life as I was by Robert and Debbie upon our arrival. Once the shoot started I knew straight away I would struggle to choose our photos and here we are still currently trying to decide what ones we want printed after purchasing the digital package as they are all so beautiful 😂❤️ Thanks again to you both, we'll definitely be back for any future shoots with Theo.

Wow! What can I say? Robert recently photographed my baby daughter and the whole experience was a joy! Robert is very ably assisted by the wonderful Debbie who is literally the baby whisperer. She dressed my daughter in beautiful handknitted clothes and put her into position for all the fabulous photos which Robert took. They are both so kind and patient and their enthusiasm for their profession shines through. The end results were fabulous and the photos were beautiful. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

We booked our newborn baby boy in for a photo session with Robert in July. Both he and his wife Debbie couldn't have been any more warm and friendly making us feel at ease throughout the photo session and taking care of our babies needs throughout. The purpose made cabin in their back garden was clean, warm and had a wide range of props to take some of theost amazing photos. We also brought along a blanket and cuddly toy that they incorporated into the shoot. We ended up with fantastic photos of our baby boy that we have enjoyed sharing with friends and family. Can't recommend enough!

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Robert and Debbie are an absolute dream team and made us feel relaxed and at ease in a safe environment for both is and our little baba. Evie had a few little diva moments on the day but Debbie worked her magic and had her smiling again in minutes - miracle worker!! From the moment we walked in, Debbie and Robert took over letting hubby and I sit back, relax and watch our little cherub pulling all sorts of adorable faces in THREEE cutest selection of outfits ever!!! From the moment I made contact with Robert I knew they were the right people to do our babies photoshoot. They were extremely friendly and informative without being pushy at all. That along with their reasonable pricing our minds were made up. When we arrived at the studio they had all of the correct measures in place to ensure everyone's safety and made us feel very welcome and at ease with "strangers" handling our precious wee one. Debbie was amazing with her and definitely could see that she is a natural babies and loves what she does. We received our pictures and we were blown away with how they captured our little girl perfectly and have given us these memories cherish for years to come. Another amazing experience with Robert McLaughlin Photography. Having had my sons newborn shoot with Robert and Debbie I jumped at the chance for an outdoor family shoot now he is nearly two. The other experience was amazing. Very relaxed and not at all staged. Everything was done at my sons pace and the pictures are beautiful and natural totally capturing his personality. Cant recommend Robert enough for a newborn photoshoot! From my first phone call i knew i had chosen the right person for my sons shoot. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Robert and his wife Debbie and made to feel at home straight away which i feel is an important factor. I could see straight away when the photoshoot commenced how passionate and professional Robert and Debbie were. The selection of different outfits, backgrounds etc was endless which made selecting the final photographs a difficult decision. Robert and Debbie are absolutely fab! They are so friendly and chat as if you have been friends for years whilst keeping professional and getting the best photos of the little one. I was looking for a newborn type shoot of my little boy and at the time of the photoshoot he was 5 weeks old and I got exactly that. My little one didn't seem to bat an eyelid with any of the flashes or when Debbie was getting him changed into little outfits as she was so gentle and handled him with great care. The shots Robert has taken are so beautiful and well worth the money and I'd definitely take him back for another shoot in future. I'd also like to add that they have taken the relevant precautions needed due to Covid and I felt myself and baby were completely safe in the studio with them as I was wearing my mask and they had the PPE on for dealing with us too and the studio has been kept so clean. I would definitely recommend using them for any photoshoots of your little one as they take great care of the little ones whilst getting the most perfect photos they do not put the little one in any positions that will make them uncomfortable or unsafe to get the shots but still capture great images.

Excellent service from Robert & Debbie, especially given the circumstances. Made my wife and I, and our little one, feel safe and at ease from start to finish. Photographs are first class, and I cannot recommend highly enough. Hopefully get in for a family shoot once the little one is a bit older & restrictions are eased.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Our baby Aria suffers from reflux so doesn't settle for long, so I was very anxious but I didn't need to be. The atmosphere was so calm and soothing and Debbie was fantastic with Aria getting her settled no problem. We couldn't believe it! Everything was just so professional, friendly and we were put at ease. Definitely recommend! Thank you so much!

I am writing this review to negate the 1 star review that is currently the only one on google as it is not a fair representation. If you want cheap and cheerful and half a finished product then best going to speak to a local college photography student who needs some items for a portfolio. If you want something to treasure for a lifetime then I can't recommend Robert McLaughlin Photography highly enough. We had a shoot for our, at the time, 12 week old and the whole experience was wonderful. They have a full functioning professional studio in their back garden with top of the range equipment. What you are paying for is the expertise, the time and the sheer volume of technology at their disposal to capture these moments perfectly. It's up to yourself if you feel it to be money well spent or not, everyone's different but for us we are in no doubt that the outcome is something we will treasure for a lifetime.
