R. M.Visited Wex Glasgow for a second time this week. Firstly to see and get advice on a suitable camera for me. Fair advice but had a friend with me who is fairly knowledgeable to help me through finer points.
Returned today intent to purchase and knew the 2 day event was on and this the various company reps there to ask and help.
The Panasonic guy, ( name not provided) was very helpful in narrowing down the field and located the best UK price for me which Wex matched. Lee from Wex handled the sale and was very helpful.
A couple of points to note from a new but discerning customer. I did have the option of purchasing the same camera for £20 more. Free P& P but with 5 yr warranty, however when Lee asked the branch manager in the shop, dismissed outright and no other options given. Also when inquired about interest free option mentioned on website, was told that purchase price of £699 did not qualify!!
I would have thought in these current economical times this offer might be more readily obtainable.
Based on my friend’s knowledge of Wex I decided to go ahead with purchase using my credit card but felt disappointed with my visit. The Panasonic rep did a sterling job and yes I could have gone elsewhere but wanted a local shop I could get help if required. Quite a different experience from Glasgow Richer Sounds which I felt tried their utmost to ensure customer was totally happy with purchase.

I was welcomed by Tommy, who showed me around and presented me with a variety of options, that were then narrowed down to suit my needs. Not only that, but I am super happy with the new camera and exited to learn more about photography.

I. M.Had an amazing experience yesterday with the team at WEX. Was looking to upgrade to an Sony Alpha 7IV. Spoke with Lee Simpson and he could not have been more helpful. Walked me through the various options available, the lens options and even was able to sort out my trade in same day. I am so happy with my new toy and the help from Lee made the step up easy. t. l.I purchased a lumix camera i was having trouble ordering online. I also had discount codes for the Wex site. on phoning the Glasgow shop and talking to ( Lee Simpson ) who I found was more than helpful. he took my order over the phone without paying at the time and emailed me when they had it in store to collect or post out . he also gave me my purchase at the discounted price ( very happy with that.) would definitely use Wex Glasgow again. T.Shout out to Lee at Glasgow, who made buying a Lumix S5 today a total breeze. Trade in, purchase and up the road in no time at all. Nice store, friendly service and nothing seemed too much trouble! Will gladly be back for future purchases. Much better than buying online.
