From our very first call with Che we knew he was the photographer for us. As well as being a superb at capturing weddings he is just a lovely human and made us feel totally at ease. We had to rearrange our wedding multiple times because of the pandemic and Che was so helpful and made the process a million times less stressful. On the day of the wedding he was so professional and several guests commented on how great he was. The resulting photos are fabulous and we can't stop looking at them! If you have a chance to book Che as your photographer do it!!!

It's hard to put into words how lucky we felt to have a photographer like Che. When you start planning your dream wedding, you never imagine having to cancel and rearrange 3 times and you definitely don't believe that you'll be able to find incredible suppliers that help you through the process and reassure you every step of the way. Each time we rearranged, we made sure it was a date that Che was available for and that was without doubt one of the best decisions we made. Friendly, reliable, energetic and incredibly talented, Che captured every single emotion and moment of our wedding day so beautifully. Throughout the day he was a warm and fun presence, floating effortlessly around our guests and intuitively reading the emotion behind the settings and characters. Despite neither of us being very comfortable in front of a camera, he was even able to make us relax into couple photos so naturally, ultimately giving us the most beautiful memory of the happiness and love that made our day so special. Che was amazing from start to finish! He captured our wedding beautifully, and perfectly incorporated our personalities in the images. He is so skilled at what he does, and we have a great balance of ‘posed’ photos and action shots. The action shots really do tell the story of the day in such a fantastic way. Che ‘slotted in’ to our day wonderfully - he very much felt like one of the wedding party, and all of our guests loved having him around. Planning a wedding during the pandemic wasn’t always easy, and Che was so communicative and kind throughout which made everything that bit easier. Almost a year on, and we still love looking back over our pictures regularly. We can’t thank Che enough, and we would definitely recommend to anyone who might be looking for a photographer! Che is absolutely brilliant and we would highly recommend him to anyone!! Throughout the pandemic we had multiple date changes for our wedding, and Che could not have been more helpful! He responded to emails straight away, provided numerous dates and even changed an appointment he already had so our date could work! Before the wedding, Che did a site visit to go through exactly what we wanted and provided us with some super helpful tips, for example, use paper confetti rather than real petals as it makes for a better shot as they fall slower! (which it definitely did and we have an amazing photograph!) On the wedding day itself, Che was happy, smiley, involved yet inconspicuous and not overbearing. He captured some incredible moments and we were over the moon with our photos! We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day and be part of it with us. From the first time we set eyes on Che's work via Instagram, we knew he was the photographer for us. His work really is something else. Our first meeting was pre-COVID, it was very relaxed and it honestly felt like we'd known each other for years. Despite the challenges thrown up by COVID, Che remained positive and supportive, thankfully we managed to stick to our first choice date, but Che really gave off the feeling that he would have bent over backwards to help us if the need had arisen. On the day Che put in a mammoth shift, it was a scorching hot day and he persevered throughout to get some incredible shots which have made us both laugh and cry. The photo's he's produced have been exceptional, really showing off our day with a fantastic mixture of candid and staged photos, all taken with a relaxed and easy going vibe. When we got engaged, we knew immediately that we would be planning our wedding around Che’s availability. We had met him at my sisters wedding, and there was no question that there was only one person we could imagine being there to capture the day. Che is incredibly professional, the process before, during and after our wedding has been seamless, which was no easy task given we were due to get married originally in May 2020 before the pandemic. We postponed 2 times and he couldn’t have made what was a very stressful time any easier for us. Not only that but he is a complete joy to have on your wedding day. He is the nicest human so you genuinely don’t mind sneaking off for some couples photos, but he is also so unobtrusive. But finally the photos. I actually have never seen anything like them. They literally took our breath away and just bring back every emotion from the best day of our lives, and tell stories you wouldn’t remember unless you had them. Booking Che was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. Before I talk about my love for our photos let me talk about the other stuff... Che was highly responsive to any emails, always friendly, super helpful with tips for wedding planning and managed to accommodate us shifting around our wedding date due to Covid postponements. On the wedding day itself he (and our second shooter, Sam) put everyone at ease, they genuinely blended into the guests and I barely noticed being photographed. Having our couples photos taken was genuinely one of my favourite parts of our wedding, Che made it fun and we relaxed and had a really great time. I could not believe when we got our photos back that he had captured SO many beautiful photos. The shots of guest's reactions which we hadn't seen ourselves, the awesome confetti shots, and the wonderful couple photos, he nailed them all. Thanks so much to Che, we adore our wedding photos, and we now have a tricky task of narrowing down which shots to put on our walls. I would highly recommend Che to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

The BEST OF THE BEST! I cannot recommend Che enough and will forever shout his name from the rooftops when anyone asks for a wedding photographer. From start to finish, he has been brilliant. The BEST photographer i’ve ever come across!!! Che was our wedding photographer for our wedding in April 2022 and we can honestly say from the moment we met him, we knew choosing him to be our photographer was one of the best decisions we made. We started to plan our wedding in the height of covid and after seeing his fantastic portfolio, we really wanted to have the opportunity to meet him before booking him as our photographer, Che made this process really easy for us and we arranged a zoom call. Che arrived early on the morning of our wedding and captured some amazing shots, he was a pleasure to have around and made everyone laugh and feel at ease. Che then followed us over to the venue and stayed all day to capture every special moment! Che was so professional in everything he did, every email or interaction that we had with Che was so lovely and humble - he always made everything so easy! We couldn’t recommend anyone more highly than Che! We booked Che before the Pandemic and despite having to re-arrange our wedding day twice, Che always kept in touch with us and kept us in the loop about his availability so we could keep him as our photographer. Che is really easy to get along with and puts you so at ease - for two people who are awkward in front of the camera, he managed to relax us and actually made us enjoy the time getting pictures with him! But most of all Che produces incredible results for you, the pictures he’s taken are first-class and we really cannot speak highly enough of the service he’s provided from start to finish. He has a fantastic style that manages to capture those moments that really give you the true feeling of the day and is able to show everyone’s natural expressions and emotion which was exactly what we wanted. From our experience, if you’re looking for a wedding photographer, Che has to be your man!

We were so lucky to find Che for our wedding photography. His correspondence has always been prompt and helpful, even throughout two postponed wedding dates. On the day he was really friendly and fun yet very professional. As soon as he arrived, while us girls were getting ready, he gave off a great first impression and helped to put us at ease. He worked so hard all day, was not at all pushy and made everyone feel very relaxed in front of the camera. We were kept in the loop with timeframes, but Che very kindly sent us a handful of photos a week or two before expected for our thank you letters. What a star! I can't recommend Che highly enough! Initially we weren't sure about having a wedding photographer as didn't really fancy staged photos but Che immediately made us feel totally relaxed and was brilliant fun to be around. We love looking through our photos as there were so many bits of the day that we weren't able to take in at the time so re-living the whole thing is amazing. Our guests all commented on what a nice guy he was and he didn't intrude on the day at all - he was just like having another guest there - albeit with a rather impressive camera holster! Che is an absolutely amazing photographer. I am not a lover of having my photo taken, and Che’s approach to the natural photos was exactly what we were looking for for our wedding. We had about 15 mins in the day and 10 minutes at night to do the couples/family photos (which I am glad he got us to do now!) but still made it fun and relaxed. Che and his wife Becky work amazingly together and have a true talent. The photos really tell a story of moments that happened during the wedding and shots of me that I never knew he was there. Should you be lucky enough to have Che available on your wedding day- I cannot recommend him highly enough. I did a lot of research before the wedding and thought his photography was a massive cut above all other wedding photos I had ever seen. I didn’t hesitate for a second in booking him! On the day of our wedding, I was feeling a little nervous but as soon as Che arrived I felt completely at ease and knew we were in very good hands. He also achieves the perfect balance between photos of myself and the groom in the morning. He is the most graceful photographer who meets all your expectations and more, whilst not getting that constant feeling you are being photographed which means he is able to capture so many special moments of your day perfectly and naturally. Another point that makes him stand out from all the rest is his dedication, he doesn’t ‘clock off’ like other photographs I’ve noticed at weddings, he will stay until he is satisfied with his photos from being punctual in the morning, right into the evening. He evidentially really loves what he does. Che captured the day for us just how we hoped he would and then just as we remembered the day. So many of my friends and family commented on how lovely he was, it truly felt for me that I had a friend at my wedding, he was there for every step of my day and I can’t thank him enough for putting someone who is usually so uncomfortable in front of a camera at complete ease! Che is easily the best decision we made on our wedding day- other than saying ‘I do’ of course ;).

Well what can I say about Che, from day one he was so excited about my weird and wonderful plans for the wedding that it pumped us too! Che was, quite simply, amazing. I will continue, but that first sentence says all you need to know. Neither my bride nor I are particularly photogenic, and it is an understatement to say that we were nervous about our photographs; we shouldn't have been, they were perfect. It wasn't just our couples’ photographs that turned out great either, the photographs of our family are some of the best we have of them. Pictures Che captured of parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents are all going to be pictures which we cherish for the rest of our lives. He truly captured the story of our wedding day. We had a very small wedding, only around 20 people in total. This meant that Che couldn't blend into the background, like I assume is possible in a normal sized wedding, but instead was a very visible member of our wedding party. This turned out to be a great addition for us and Che really helped make the day special. Che Birch-Hayes was absolutely brilliant and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! We were so so happy with our wedding photos, and really pleased we chose Che to capture our day for us! I found Che on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and loved his colourful, relaxed and fun style of photography. We both like taking photos, so we really wanted to have a photographer who can take relaxed candid pictures but that are also good photos in their own right. From the moment we contacted Che, he was so professional and enthusiastic, which filled us with confidence we'd picked the right person! Che and his wife Becky arrived the day before and walked around with us so we could show them the venue. They traveled all the way down from Herefordshire to shoot our wedding which was in Hampshire. They were absolutely brilliant to have there on the day - so friendly and fun and also a nice calming presence. A few times we snuck off to take pictures during the day. I expected to feel like I was missing out during these photos, but actually I loved the chance to sneak off and have a few moments of calm during the hectic day. The photos when we got them back were so good we both had a little cry! Absolutely amazing!!! They managed to take some amazing photos of the day, the dancing, the ceremony, and the speeches and they were so slick we barely noticed them there at times! I don't know how they did it - they seemed to be right in the middle of all the action without anyone really noticing! Also, this is an added bonus, but Che's website, emails, contracts etc are all so slick that it makes all the boring stuff so easy to do. 10/10 worth every penny! Book Che now :D

Che is worth 10 stars, but unfortunately we can only give 5. We honestly can’t rate him highly enough. He is everything you want in a photographer: he is friendly, cool, calm, we hardly noticed him on the day, but oh my goodness he takes the best photos!! I spent many days before our wedding stalking his social media, looking through his photos of other weddings and already couldn’t wait to see how ours would turn out. Sometimes getting myself so excited about things like this leads to disappointment! Not this time! When I say I was over the moon when we saw our our photos - that’s an understatement! I cried the whole way through 750 photos the first time we saw them (and the most of the second time), all the emotion from the day and more - wishing we were back there doing it all again, came over me. They are SO beautiful!!! Everyone we have shown them too has said this (and both of our dads have been semi pro/professional photographers in the past) and have said that Che has captured the atmosphere of the day perfectly - we’ve no idea how he has done it! Che is also the most thoughtful wedding supplier - sending us little treats in the post before and after the wedding, and everything is so wonderfully presented. He’s at the end of his email or Instagram for support and answering questions at all times. Basically what I’m trying to say is if you like Che’s photos and are even slightly considering him as your photographer, don’t look any further... I promise you won’t be disappointed! (Yes I’m that confident!)

What to say about Che? Talented, creative, fun, focused, brilliant attention to detail. We are both really keen amateur photographers so we are picky about style and quality and we researched a lot of wedding photographers! We first met Che on Skype, and straight away felt relaxed. Being such a big part of the wedding day, it is important that you click with the photographer. In fact, although we didn’t meet him in person until the day before our ceremony, we felt like a good friend was taking our photos. Che has captured all aspects of our day – it seems he was everywhere and yet was unobtrusive and always discrete. He was creative with his compositions, clever with light and put us at ease for couple portraits. We don’t really enjoy posing for photos but he found some beautiful photogenic locations that we could enjoy for some quiet moments together and now treasure these images. The standard of his photographs are outstanding and we were blown away by the quality and range of our photos. Even in the few posed photos, we look relaxed because we were having fun and enjoying the moment; we never felt like a photographer was overly organising us or taking up our time from our guests. He fitted in with us and we were happy to follow his creative ideas. Che has a talent at capturing natural moments of emotion, laughter and joy as well as beautiful details in decorations and scenery that we didn’t see in the busyness of the day. Some friends and family have commented that these are genuinely the best wedding photos they have seen; we are delighted with them and would whole-heartedly recommend working with Che.

Che and his wife Becky travelled to Leicester for our wedding in March and what can we say. We certainly felt like we not only knew them but were old friends as we booked Che back in 2015! After skyping for the first time when we got engaged we knew straight away that Che was the sort of photographer we wanted. Not only are they both easy to get along with they genuinely care and just want you to have the best day ever which is awesome! They directed us on the day, all the way from Becky noticing a loose strap under my dress about 2 seconds before walking down the isle!! Her noticing that the groom's button hole was the wrong way round (no idea either) and dashing down the isle to fix it! To telling us how to cut the cake! (Nobody tells you this stuff!!) You genuinely get the nothing is too much trouble vibe from him which is such an important thing as there were many emails back and forth throughout the 3 year run up to our wedding! AMAZING!!! che and Sam captured our day in such and fun and candid way, the pictures really told a story. Che was super fun to work with, from coming to my dads farm a week before to check out the location and make us feel at ease when I came to taking the picture on the day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer- they made us both feel at ease on the day and they worked extremely hard to produce our wedding photos. We could not be happier.

Where do we begin! We met Che when he was photographer at my brother's wedding. When we got engaged, we bumped into him at a wedding fayre and booked him straight away! Che is not just an amazingly talented photographer, but such a wonderful bloke! Our friends and family felt like he was one of the guests and the photos are such a great mix of a few traditional shots and candid, documentary-style pictures. Our favourite photos range from our space-hopper race to gorgeous sunset portraits - Che literally captured the day perfectly. From booking to the day itself, we couldn't have asked for more. Laura and I chose Che as we were getting married in Lyde Court in Hereford and we wanted someone who knew the venue, had similar taste to us in terms of more of a bias towards candid rather than posed shots and, importantly, who we actually were likely to get on with. We didn't realise quite what an epic choice this turned out to be. After browsing Che's portfolio, it became clear that this is exactly the kind of style we were after, with slightly hipster shots capturing the energy and emotion of the day without at all being forced or overly obtrusive. Che and his wife Becky were fantastic on the day itself. Such a friendly and genuine couple who are clearly very experienced and knowledgeable while also being very up for new ideas or suggestions. We are quite a laid back couple, and so in the slight stress of the morning, having a pair of photographers quietly reassuring and snapping away while chatting really put us at ease and meshed well with our personalities. We honestly didn't really notice either Che or Becky on the day apart from during the few posed shots we had after the ceremony. This just added to the wow factor when we received our photos just a few weeks later, which we were incredibly grateful for especially as the tons of editing required had taken place over the Christmas period! Che had really captured the moments of relatives interacting, the laughs and even some very 'meta' shots of some of our friends taking selfies and giggling, which weirdly have turned out to be some of our favourite action shots. All in all, I can't recommend this couple highly enough, and a real testament already is the sheer number of compliments and comments we have received about the photos.

We couldn't have wished for a better photographer. Che was committed, friendly, helpful and professional. He came to see the venue on a couple of occasions before the date and was happy to discuss what we wanted at any time. On the day he was there really early and stayed well into the evening to get lots of amazing photos, which went above and beyond our expectations. Che was able to organise a second photographer at quite short notice and we barely noticed that we had two people walking around. The shots themselves are incredible, there are so many, and of everything we asked for and far more. We originally chose Che because we liked him as a person, and I'm so glad we did. Thank you! Having the perfect photographer was one of our top priorities and we were lucky to come across Che’s portfolio which was stunning. He was amazing throughout the whole process and we knew we could trust him to capture our day. He was a pleasure to have around throughout the day and made us feel at ease straight away.
