Simply brilliant photography!! Recently had a photoshoot with Moonchild Portraits. Quite approachable and responsive. Aarathi is thoroughly professional, was very meticulous about all the details including choice of clothing and accessories for the whole family. We booked studio portrait session for our toddler a few weeks ago in Leicester. Aarathi was very relaxed and professional, making us feel at ease and being very efficient sorting out different set ups for the photographs. My family had an excellent experience with Moonchild Portraits. Starting with the process of planning for the photoshoot where attention was sought to the kind of weather we wished to demonstrate, the colours we should be wearing to the actual shoot day. Aarti was particular in the choice of clothing for the shoot and consistently went above and beyond to help select the outfits for the children and wife. The day itself went very smooth with clear instructions and a lot of attention to details from the poses to the lighting. We were happy to see the final products and the experience is certainly a positive one. We have previously tried other photography studios and have noted the difference in the passion and the support by the photographer. If anyone is looking for Professional Outdoor family photography in Leicester, we would highly recommend Moonchild portraits... Its been hard to find the right words to suit the perfection Aarathi has in her photography. What impressed us the most was the professionalism and perfectionism, and yet maintaining a very friendly rapport. Viewing her facebook page, we couldn't resist the temptation to do both summer outdoor photography with lush green background, as well as the colourful Autumn portraits.... We took a few days to put everything together prior to the shoot. Aarathi certainly helped make us the best choice, whether it was outfit or hairdo or jewellery or shoes. She even helped me shop so we could get our choices right. If I thought I had an eye to attention to details , Aarathi looks for the even more minute details to bring out perfection in her work. No photographer would give so much time. She didnt find any questions silly and it was a beautiful communicative process with all the family members. The boys were happy that they could keep it simple/semiformal. Our son said that the choice of outfit co-ordination was fantastic. Above all, Aarathi made the whole process so comfortable that we welcomed the event with open hands. The photo shoot was so relaxed, fun and enjoyable, which mattered a lot ... And she does it in a way that makes the entire experience a wonderful event. She is so diligent in her work with such patience when it comes to her work..... There is always a story telling in her pictures. I remember when she got the boys to focus, because she wanted it a certain way. She takes so much of care in providing the best experience to her clients, producing memorable, valuable and life long lasting pictures. She ensured she visited the location a few times prior to the shoot ensuring no dissappointments on the day. She really puts effort in creating perfect shots based on her clients personality. I had a photoshoot with Moonchild Portraits in December 2020 for my 7 month old son. The studio setup was perfect and the photographer had Covid-safe guidelines in place. Aarathi was great with my son, trying to capture his attention and getting him to smile for the camera (which is no mean feat!) and had a number of backdrops/props to create the images.
