K. R.I arranged a photoshoot with Ali for my baby girl’s baby photos. Ali was always prompt at replying to my questions whilst arranging the date/type of shoot that we required. Ali’s booking form is really detailed to ensure it captures the type of shoot we were looking for.
Ali is friendly, welcoming and instantly puts you at ease (even though we all hate our photos taken!) and the purpose built cabin is fantastic.
My daughter was at the more difficult age (13 weeks) to get the perfect pictures but Ali did it wonderfully. She was so gentle, caring and patient with our little girl even when she was fussy.
I was thrilled with the end and I’d recommend Ali over and over again. I will be back at some point in the future!

B. H.We first went to the cabin for and met Ali when I had my son for his newborn shoot. Ali was so warm and welcoming and instantly made us feel at ease, going out and about when you are a new mum can be daunting but there was no rushing or pressure at all during the shoot. My son was 3 weeks old at the time so not quite in that deep newborn sleepy stage anymore but somehow Ali got him to sleep and posed him to get some amazing photos. We have since been back to the cabin a further 3 times, the last one being my sons first birthday cake smash. Ali communicated with me through the planning process and ensured the set was exactly how we wanted and it did not disappoint, it looked amazing and the photos were brilliant. Memories to treasure forever.

Ali listened to our requests and input into the shoot with colours etc. We also asked for a couple of personalised shots which Ali welcomed without a thought.

Ali did a newborn session in March 2022 for my 4 week old son. She was brilliant with him and took photos that I will treasure forever. The only problem was picking the best ones so I ended up getting them all!
Professional, warm and personable, Ali captures and creates beautiful images. Luan is only 5 months old now and I have already been back to the cabin twice! I am excited to continue going to Mama Bear Photography for her to capture more amazing moments as Luan grows (particularly Christmas sessions and a cake smash!).

N. P.Ted visited Mama Bear Photography UK for the very first time on Friday (3 weeks old) and it certainly won’t be the last…. What an experience!
We all had a wonderful warm welcome from Ali with tea/snacks and we settled Ted down before Ali got to work.
Watching Ali and Ted while sinking into a comfy sofa (recharging our batteries) was just magnificent. With her magic hands, and soothing nature this meant that Ted could get into his best poses and Ali could snap away.
Nothing was ever rushed and all was done at Teds pace to ensure he was comfy and happy (allowing time for top up feeds and nappy changes before he snuggled back down again.)
The cabin feels like you’re in a different world and spoilt for choice with all the props for the perfect photos as well as her ideas.
If you’re thinking about a photoshoot I cannot recommend Mama Bear Photography enough. You won’t be disappointed and will leave the cabin buzzing!

We had such a lovely experience at Mama Bear Photography during the Smile, Smash and Splash! Before our appointment, Ali was in touch regularly to go through my ideas, of which I had so many!! Ali did such a fantastic job of incorporating all of the ideas in to a beautiful set, the cake was amazing and we were really pleased with the wooden spoon, such a personal touch!! The shoot was amazing and relaxed, as much as it can be with a one year old! Ali was so friendly and lovely too!
The sneak peek of the pictures was great and we can't wait to see the full gallery, which are bound to be amazing based on what we have seen so far! We will definitely be going back!

E.I had a newborn session with Ali when my little girl was just 1 week old. As a first time mum I felt a bit stressed about the situation, but Ali made us feel immediately comfortable. The cabin has a wonderful, cozy environment, and Ali looked after my daughter as if she was her own (even changing a nappy!). Ali listened to what types of photos we wanted and there as definitely no rushing. The whole experience was amazing. And not to mention the photos! The photos are so wonderful that we had to order loads of products (which are so high quality). I have a 9 image canvas that I love and will cherish forever. I didn't really know what to expect but I felt comfortable from the second I walked in and my little girl must have been too as she went straight to Ali for a cuddle. U.We had our new born shoot with Ali a little later than planned when my little one was 6 weeks old, so he was a little more awake than a 1-2 week old baby, and yet Ali achieved the most amazing pictures. She had so much patience trying to get one specific pose, I bet we were at it an hour - trying to get my rather chunky 6 week old into a crouched over pose, but alas, it was not meant to be, but my goodness did she try! All while making sure my son was calm and content. I love the cabin, the feel, the props... endless props if you want them. It’s so cosy, comfortable and welcoming. H. A. D.The first time we visited Ali was in June/July 2018 for our son's newborn session and our daughter's 1st birthday Smile, Smash and Splash session. However, communication and planning began months before this! Ali was and is incredibly attentive and engaging, answering all my questions (sometimes discussing until midnight!) and making exciting plans for the sessions. The cabin is a beautiful, warm and cosy environment that puts you at ease straight away. Combined with Ali being the most wonderful person and endlessly patient with the children it's an unforgettable experience. Since these first initial sessions we have been lucky enough to return for a Valentine's, Mother's Day and most recently our son's very own first birthday Smile, Smash and Splash session.
Ali makes an incredible effort with every one of her clients and every aspect of the experience. Our son's cake smash was Cookie Monster themed and absolutely AMAZING. The cakes for all of these sessions are also delicious and beautiful. We're still nibbling on Archie's somewhat smashed cake. We recommend Mama Bear Photography UK to anyone and everyone who'll listen and get compliments on our family photos regularly! It's so important to capture these special moments with our children and choosing the right photographer is so important. We took our little bundle of joy for a newborn baby shoot... I say newborn, having made it through the initial manic whirlwind that is having a newborn baby to booking our shoot our little one was about 8 weeks old when we went for the shoot! Ali was blooming brilliant, by this time my fiancés paternity leave had ended and he was back at work. Ali was fantastic and was in regular contact with me in trying to find a convenient weekend date for the shoot, as soon as possible and so lovely in 'frequently' contacting me to remind me of information that I needed to complete in order for the shoot to go ahead - which was frequently required as I could be ditsy at the best of times pre baby, but horrendous when coupled with baby brain!!
The shoot was just a joy and so much fun. The cabin is just so gorgeous and snuggly and packed with everything you could possibly want, such as food, snacks, refreshments and baby changing facilities, including all of the essentials.
The great thing is the time Ali allows for the shoot and to get to know you, but more importantly your baby. She is just lovely with your little one, our little girl adored her. The shoot was so calm and relaxed and above all so much fun!
Our sneaky peek image was beautiful and captured our cheeky little rug rat perfectly, which made us super, super excited to see the rest of the images and we were not at all disappointed, they were absolutely fantastic!
We had originally booked the session with the thought that we would purchase 20 images, but how do you choose just 20 images from 52 unbelievably gorgeous photos? You just can't, it's an impossible task, we just had to have them all!!
I would and have, recommend Ali and Mama Bear Photography to anyone and everyone without hesitation. Since our visit a number of my friends have been to Ali, some of whom had been to other photographers previously and they, like us, have been blown away by the service received, the lovely lady herself and the images received. I am already planning a 'cake smash' shoot with Ali for our daughters first birthday.

From a warm welcoming to the beautiful warm studio Ali took over and worked her magic on both our girls individually and together to create some beautiful photos. The props she has are classic and timeless with a variety to choose from but I’d highly recommend Ali making suggestions, as her vision is second to none. L. S.Well where do I begin? I’ve just received our official copies of the digital prints from our older baby shoot and words can’t describe how beautiful they are. I met Ali at a baby event back in September 2019 but was already a fan of her work as she’d shot my sister is laws maternity and newborn photos and already loved her work. I had an amazing experience at my maternity shoot and the photos she created made me feel beautiful and I’ll cherish those photos of me and bump forever. Fast forward to March 2020 and my baby boy who was born 3 days before lockdown. 2 days before my newborn shoot was planned for. I was heartbroken that it wasn’t going to happen. Ali dealt with the situation with compassion and professionalism, i really felt she was just as devastated as I was. Although I’ll never get those newborn photos of my first born baby the photos I’ve now got of him as an older baby are just as beautiful as I imagined and I’m over the moon with them. In my opinion there’s no one better than Ali and mamabear, her work is gorgeous and timeless, no gimmicks or silly bits just plain and simple beauty is captured in her work. I can’t wait to go to her for all my future sessions. She’s wonderful.

B. R.There aren’t enough words to describe how happy I was with our newborn session yesterday. Ali was so patient with Poppy and took time to form a little bond with her. When my three year old daughter, Ruby, arrived for the last hour of the shoot she wasn’t the most cooperative. However Ali took time to make her feel at ease and by the end of the session Ruby wanted to give Ali cuddles. Not only is this testament to Ali’s kind, caring and patient nature but also how professional she is. Judging by our taster photos you can really tell how much pride and care she takes in her work. The cabin they have created is so warm and cosy; Ali and Leigh played perfects hosts whilst we were there. Ali is very welcoming and SO very patient to get the most beautiful shots; she spent ages gently soothing Dylan until he was comfortable and sleepy in the required positions. I felt very much at ease and could have happily spent the day chatting away. Ali has a fantastic range of set ups, wraps and props to create the perfect photo. I absolute LOVE the photos she has created for us, (I purchased my whole gallery) now I just need to decide where to put them up at home. I have never been to a photoshoot before, it was a new experience for me and my daughter. You were incredibly welcoming and you are an amazing photographer. Managing to get Aria to smile and giggle even pull some funny faces when she got excited over the flashing camera, Including encouraging me to have a couple of pictures taken of us both. Which turned out to be one of my favourites.

A. H.We’ve just had a photo shoot for my little boy with Ali. Elijah suffers from hypertonia is isn’t able to sit unaided or able to support himself like most 1 year olds and Ali was amazing with him ! Ali made sure that Elijah was always comfortable, happy and most importantly, safe. Ali fully worked around Elijah and with what he was able to do. She is like an octopus in the studio - how she holds her camera, a sound toy, and whilst moving her light and then positioning Elijah I’ll never know. Ali was lovely throughout, making sure we were both happy and comfortable and took the shots we wanted as a family too. There were refreshments in the cabin and plenty of offers for drinks. I would highly recommend Mama Bear Photography to everyone I know and we will definitely be back to capture more moments.

A. M.I took my son to visit Ali in the Cabin for his first birthday photo session in December and it was such a lovely experience. Ali made us all feel very welcome and relaxed, especially my son - I needn't have worried at all about getting only grumpy looking photos!
Ali listened to all of our personal wishes for the session and completely fulfilled them. I was worried that, with it being mid-December, Henry would end up with a very Christmassy-looking set of photos, but Ali made sure the focus was on his special day. She takes great care ensuring that everything is how you'd like it to be.
I've just received a beautiful wooden USB stick containing all of our photos from the day and I'm utterly amazed. You can request anything you'd like to be engraved on the USB and box, and Ali will send you some mock-ups to approve before going ahead - a really thoughtful thing to do.
We had a fab time with Ali and have some beautiful photos to show for it. We will undoubtedly be back again next December for Henry's second birthday!
