I’ve worked with Mel many times over the years both personally and professionally. Mel is so lovely to work with and instantly puts you at ease so that she can obtain the most natural shots and video footage. Melanie has taken family portraits for me which have captured lovely memories. Mel has also taken promotional product shots of my jams and my food which have been styled so well as to capture my brand personality. More recently Mel had produced a series of head shots and videos to promote the launch of my shop. Mel is able to capture the mood and understand the brief straight away, adding her own ideas and style. I would always highly recommend Mel for all the reasons stated above plus her professionalism and attention to detail. You can tell how Mel loves and cares about her work so much. I look forward to working with Mel again on exciting new projects ahead.

I googled a local photographer and Melanie's name came up. After contacting her and explaining the urgency for us to meet, Melanie came up with some options to make this possible. We met in the local park early one morning and I felt an instant connection, she made me feel at ease and not to be distracted by those using the park and make the most of the session together. Melanie did not disappoint and within a couple of days I got my pictures and delighted with them. I highly recommend Melanie who does travel to meet her clients not just local clients.

We arranged a family photoshoot when we realised that our stock on the walls had really stopped when our three kids left junior school. Our youngest is now 17! Melanie was a joy to be photo’d by. I deliberately avoided “pose for” because it really didn’t feel like that. We just had a laugh and felt completely at ease. The result was a portfolio from which we could have selected loads of photos which, for a crowd who considers themselves mortally unphotogenic, is a testament to Melanie’s photographic skill and her charm!

She managed to slot me in very last minute, and when working with her she really valued my opinions while also offering her own advice on what she thought looked good and worked well. She was extremely patient while I changed outfits, hairstyles and backgrounds numerous times, and by showing me the photos as we went along, I left confident that I would have a selection of photos I was happy to choose from. Mel took the photographs of our wedding and did an absolutely brilliant job. The photos are beautifully composed and really capture the atmosphere of the day.
