N. V.John Waite was extremely helpful, he scanned and saved my negatives giving incredible bespoke support as any artist/photographer dreams of. Well, there is a gem in London and it is Metro Imaging. John also, with huge understanding, helped me to match my colours (from my darkroom prints) with the printing files, and that is invaluable for any photographer who wants a professional that understands colours. If you need that, ask to sit with John Waite! Thank you Metro - Thank you, Tony - Thank you, John!
A. U.Processing was done correctly and in a timely manner. Stored nicely. Delivered on-time. Images were not correctly dried, leaving marks across the negatives. See image attached, a scan I did at home after Metro's processing. Fixable, but not ideal. Prices are not competitive.
C. S.I think they are the best in London. For black&white definitely try their silver gelatin prints. Customer experience can be improved. If they don't answer your emails keep trying or pay them a visit.
T. S.I sent an image for printing that was really special to me although in terms of quality, was just a snapshot taken on my rather old ‘phone.
After some adjustments, my image arrived the next day, beautifully packaged and I was thrilled with it .
The company were friendly and responsive and I’m sure they usually deal with much bigger and better orders than mine, so I would recommend them to anyone needing a great printing service .
A. L.I brought some wedding photos to Metro Imaging to be cropped and printed and couldn't be happier with the result. Manish was incredibly friendly, helpful and talented, providing small retouches where he could see the images would benefit from them. One small note of feedback is the friendliness of the front desk staff. There seemed to be a bit of an attitude, a smile goes a long way in customer service.

I searched on Saturday for a London photographic printing company for 16x12" that would be ready to pick up early Monday afternoon.
I found that Metro Imaging offered a 4 hour turnaround on that type print.
Their online ordering system accepted my 100+Mb TIF files.
Their print profiles were easy to find and download.
On Sunday I realised that I wanted to replace one of my TIF files. I sent Metro Imaging a replacement via wetransfer. They replied by 9am Monday to say no problem and the replacement TIF had been downloaded.
At midday on Monday I received an email to confirm that my prints were ready for collection.
Metro Imaging were more expensive than my usual online supplier but my prints were perfect and on the high quality Fuji Crystal Archive paper I am used to. Metros fast turnaround and great service are enough for me to keep them on my list of preferred suppliers for photographic prints.
